Sh: Hello everyone!😊

So: Hi! Our focus for today is on your book, The Guardian's Gift!

What's TGG about?

Sh: It's about a guardian angel whose is being put to the test. In the end, she realizes that she might have never been loyal after all. That it was just fear and not loyalty.

So: That's a very simple way to put it🤗

What inspired you to write this beautiful book?

Sh: I was inspired by this one scene where a woman sacrifices herself to save her lover. We often see that scene in dramas or movies. Then I decided to add some twist of my own.

So I thought to myself, what if. . .what if the one being saved would be better off not saved?

So: Intense. . .well made your point there. I did not see any of the stuffs that took place coming!😮

I seriously thought she was going to stay with Seoklin as a human and all that.

Sh: Actually, If Jisoo didn't save Seokjin and decided to obey her God, then it would have happened as you just deduced.

God would have given Jisoo the choice to live with Seokjin as humans on Earth or take him to heaven.

So: Yeah I expected her to disobey at some point but they were supposed to live happily ever after!😰

Red: Sophie you're breaking your own rules! ❌❌❌

So: Sorry, I just can't help it.

Sh: The story develops itself out of my control.🤷

So: So that would have happened if she obeyed? That means she failed.

Sh: Yes, she failed.

Red: ❌❌❌ you guys!

So: Awwn😰 She failed. She should have just held on a bit. Poor Seokjin, he's gone through a lot. . .

Sh: I have to say that the story is inspired by religion. Where God's command clashes with human logics.

Oh and Seokjin goes to heaven, hehe. I don't wanna make that too obvious😌

Red: Seriously? 🤦 ❌❌❌

Li: Loosen up Red. Sometimes, you gotta let some spoilers slip.

Red: I hear you Grandma. . .

Li: I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear you say that.🙄😒

So: (Clears throat noisily to gain attention)

Sh: 😂😂

So: I got that part about religion. I'm a believer too you see. I understand that God's plan doesn't always merge with our plans. He always has his own plans which might not make some of us happy.

Life ain't fair.

Yeah I figured out our handsome boy goes to heaven.😍

Who's your fave character (s)?

Sh: My favourite character would be Jisoo and Kihyun (in the new life 😅)

So: Yeah, they're pretty good friends.

Yongguk remains my fave though. Especially from the old life.😏 Btw, Yongguk is handsome, right? Korean guys are always handsome. No, that's an understatement! Beautiful! Yaaaaaass!🤤😍😋

Sh: Looooool😂😂😂😂 yeeess XD.

So: Then it's settled! I'm gonna clean up that spot I saved for him in my basement!😈😈 (Laughs evilly)

Li: 🤦 There she goes again with her pretty boy obsessions!

Red: And her basement story! Someone should really do something about the basement thing!😅

So: You're just jealous you don't got a basement filled with pretty boys from all over the world Lilly!😈😈 Muhuhuhuhahahahaha!

Sh: Why did you pick Yongguk as your fave?

So: Well he's open minded, he's a bit crazy with the way he curses!😅 Crazy people get me! They make life fun! I'm scared of normal people!🤫😫😂😂

Sh: LMAOOO 😅 He's really fun to hang out with.

So: Yes he is. Who is your least favorite character?

Sh: I can't think of anyone except Jaejin🤷

So: Oh yeah, I remember him, 😂 and his terrible end!😅😅

What's your favorite scene?

Sh: My favourite scene would be when Jisoo meets Kihyun in the hospital in chapter 6. That's when the plot twist is reversed.

So: That's about when I got confused.😂 And everything changed completely.

I loved the scene where Yunggok introduced Jisoo to Seokjin to stay for the night at his house. Then he left them together and told them he expected good news!😂😂 The perfect hook up!

Sh: Looooooool😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 XD

So: 😅 Anyways, what was your hardest chapter to convey?

Sh: I think it's either chapter 3 or 4. I had trouble directing them.

So: Aah, when she finally met Seokjin and Yunggok.🤗

Where you hoping to pass a certain message in your book?

Sh: The message would be what I've written at the end of chapter 7.

It doesn't take a guardian angel to protect someone but common Decency.

So: You're right. We don't have to wait for a guardian angel when we could always step up and do it ourselves! That's Humanity!🤗

Sh:😌

So: We're nearing the end of this interview and as usual. . .

If you had to choose between living in a Fantasy world with all the fairytales and mytical creatures or a Sci-fi world with all the cool technologies, space travels, time machines and stuffs like that;

Which will it be? Fantasy or Sci-fi?

Sh: Sci-fi!🤗 Because it's way cooler. I have always been a fascinated by technology.

So: Interesting🤔 Should I build an army of technological soldiers too?

Li: Don't even start Sophie!

Red: Sigh🤦🏽‍♀️
