the end.
This book has been over for a while but some of you guys don't really understand why I left it this way.
I write just like my art, it's realism, and in reality, you don't always get the fairytale ending. In reality, relationships end and people change and things aren't black and white and planned. Life is spontaneous and beautiful and so is love so these romance novels might very well turn to the protagonist being single in the end. Gap and Chuck was never meant to end with them together; neither of them were ready for each other, Clyde with his emotional scarring and attachment issues wouldn't have been healthy with Bonnie who decided to care less about attachment.
They weren't right for each other so it wouldn't have been right for me to push them together because, in reality, if they did end up together, they wouldn't last and it'd end in even more heartbreak. They were never meant to last, Bonnie was his lesson.
Bonnie peeled back his layers, made him evolve and in the end, left him open and bleeding. Bonnie wasn't ready for him.
Their relationship was both beautiful and toxic and I don't want to change the ending at all. I'm quite happy with the way this book turned out and I'm honestly so glad that you guys were so emotionally invested in it.
Thank you for the support and I hope to see you again xx
