"hey... what's that?" she asked as we laid in the posterior of my rusted pick-up.
another thing she complained was to fit my 'image'.
"is that a-"
she had been twisting my fingers in hers when her hands found their way
to my left wrist, her fingers brushing over it and tracing the pattern.
"nothing," i excused, my eyes drifting up to the trees that slightly guarded the moon,
my face buried in her auburn hair as she laid beside me.
she kicked my blue chucks before sitting up and shaking her head.
"it's not nothing. it's not nothing so stop being a little apathetic shit about it."
i rolled my eyes, uncaringly. but in reality i did care. i cared a lot, "it's nothing, Bonnie. leave it."
my bandana felt too tight, my chest started this weird compressing,
and my throat almost closed up.
"Chuck, show me."
