"Gray does an okay job, it isn't as good as Natsu though....." I said with a sad tone. "Oh Lucy, I'm so sorry about all of this." Levy hugged me tightly. "It wasn't his fault that he had to go, he tried to explain why he couldn't go, but they didn't listen." I explained as Levy let go of me.

Natsu's POV

"Alright! Today's gonna be and easy day! 3 miles! Go!" The Sargent yelled. Everyone took off, I hated to women here, they were marines, but during a meal they would try to make a move on me. Gross. I thought about Lucy again while running. Zane caught up with me on the second lap, and ran by me for a while. "Man, kid, you sure do run fast." Zane panted slightly. "I ran a lot at home, and in sports, and just around in general." I explained. "Damn." Zane mumbled. "What'd you do in school?" Zane asked. "Uh.......I was the leader in a gang, and before I met Lucy, I was quite a playboy. I.....uh.....slept with the girls at school but stopped when I started dating Lucy." I explained very sheepishly. "You were a gangster! Damn, no wonder why you're in shape, you've been running from the police." Zane chuckled, then started slowing down on the fifth lap, leaving me "in first", by myself. "Hey Natsu~! Are you in a relationship?" Some girls cooed/yelled behind me, which means they yelled past Zane. I turned and started running backwards. "Yeah I am. So leave me the fuck alone, before I beat you to a pulp." I turned back around and kept running. "Ugh. Rude. I feel bad for your girlfriend." She scoffed. I kept running until it was my last lap, I already lapped a few people, and sprinted the last one. "Done." I panted, and bent over and put my hands on my knees. "Go get a drink." The Sargent said, I jogged to the water fountain.

I'm about to be in a war. In a fucking week. Holy shit. I hope Gray isn't fucking everything up.

"Sir, I was wondering if I could make a call." I said a slightly loyd voice. "Since you were first, go ahead son, but make it fast." I ran off after saying thank you, and found a phone. I dialed Lucy's number quickly.

Lucys POV

I was still sitting in the living room. My phone started ringing, naturally I answered. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey Lucy, how's my baby?" Natsu. Natsu. Natsu! "Oh my God! Natsu! And which baby are you talking about?" I asked. "Both." Natsu replied. "We're both great. I'm so happy to hear from you, Natsu." I replied. "It's great to hear your voice again, baby. How is Gray doing? Do I need to kick his ass at all?" Natsu asked. I slightly giggled, "No. He's okay. He's not the best, but he makes sure I've got food, and that I'm okay." I replied. "Hey Luce?" Natsu said softly. "Yeah?" I replied. "I love you okay? Never forget that, where ever you are, or where ever I am." Natsu said. "Why does it sound like you're saying goodbye?" I asked. "Next week. I'm going into war." Natsu replied. "W-what....?" I stuttered, tears already starting to form in my eyes.

"Yeah....I love you Lucy, just know that." Natsu replied. "I love you too, Natsu.....but....." I trailed off, Levy was looking at me with sorrowful eyes. "I know, Lucy, I know." Natsu replied. "Hey Natsu." I said. "What is it Lucy? Natsu asked. "Only a few more months." I sighed. "And I'm missing it...." Natsu sighed. "Dragneel! Hurry up with that phone call!" I heard someone yell. "Yes sir!" Natsu replied, then sighed. "I've gotta go Luce." Natsu said sadly. "I know Natsu, I know." I replied. "Hey Lucy, do me a favor." Natsu said. "Yes?" I asked. "If it's a girl name her Nashi." Natsu said. "Nashi? Okay. I like it." I replied. "Alright, Luce, I love you. More than I think you know." Natsu said softly and sweetly. "I love you to." I replied. "Alright. Gotta go, be careful." Natsu was so gentle. "I will." I replied. "Love you. Bye." Natsu hung up, and I sat back on the sofa, smiling and crying. "Why are you so happy, yet so sad?" Levy asked. "Because he picked out the baby's name, and hearing his voice just made me happy." I said, and smiled widely at Levy, tears still streaming down my face.

"Aw...Lucy...." Levy giggled, she looked at the time on her phone. "Oh shit. I need to go Lucy, be safe!" Levy said as she opened the door. "You to!" I replied. Now Levy was gone.

Another phone call.

"Hey Lucy, how ya doing? Do I need to bring anything?" Gray asked. "Uh...no. Not that I can think of, Levy was just here, and Natsu just called." I explained. "No wonder why it's sounds like you've been crying. Well, I won't be able to come over tonight, 'cause I'm going out with Juvia. But be feel free to message me at anytime." Gray said. "Alright. Bye!" I hung up, and set my phone back down. I yawned. I was sooooooo tired. I dragged my feet upstairs, and face planted my pillow. I was instantly asleep.
