The serene hallway was filled with sniffles and murmurs. No one thought that they will see a day of despair like this, in their life. Standing outside of Operation Theatre waiting for the surgeon or nurses to get a bit of news of the inside, was tormenting. Y/n and rest of the bangtan excluding V were anxious from the predicament and wanted to hear some good news as soon as possible. They hadn't eaten or drank anything because of the stress, forgetting their own injuries and aching, standing without a rest and continuously praying to God for a miracle.

When Y/n and boys reached on the OT floor, Namjoon had informed that the body had suffered a lot- crushing under rocks, burn marks and blood loss and it will be hard to save him. And soon went away to get the medicines requested by Surgeon. They had informed Hobi who was still in mansion guarding it, the boy quickly came and waited for the Surgeon verdict.

Y/n was trying to control her flow of tears but it seemed impossible as the man she was waiting hadn't came yet, he wasn't there to cheer her up. Bangtan were watching their lovely girl in pity, being caught up in pain. She was desperately waiting for V. They didn't knew what to do, how to comfort the only girl whom they began to care for. 'Sorry Darla but we never saw you as a girl' they thought.

Jimin had enough, he couldn't see her more wailing and ended up embracing her, gently putting her head on chest, giving a soothing feeling to her burning chest. He was feeling intense grief but tried to hide it for the sake of the girl.

Soon Namjoon came and was the first one to notice the Surgeon standing at a distance watching his friends, probably awkward to initiate a conversation. He had to come to a nearby hospital, not in their regular one where Doctors were associate with them. The old practitioner had grief written on his face which quicken Bangtan's heartbeat. They were anticipating the bad news. Jimin swiftly cover Y/n so that doctor was out of her sight. The last thing she needed to hear a bad news.

"How's he?" Jin dared to ask but his inside was wrenching.

"The patient's condition was not good, his body had lose excessive blood and his legs were completely crushed. We have stabilize his pulse and tend to injuries but we have to perform another surgery after some hours for his legs. But don't worry, it wouldn't cause have any serious implication further"

"Sounds good. We are leaving him in your care. Do anything in your power but don't let him die. We need him and we are counting on you" Namjoon deadpanned and usher his brothers to stop hogging the Surgeon. 

Meanwhile Jimin tried to make Y/n understand that everything would be fine and soon V would came but she just continued to sob.

All the boys become restless from the scene and didn't knew what could make her stop crying. They were never in this situation. They were expert in beating and making anyone cry but how to stop someone's cries was beyond their expertise.

Seeing no one taking a step towards the scene, Yoongi pushed Hobi and signal him to do something. Hobi was called the sunshine of their group not because he was all hope and nice, but because he was a expert in explosion and blasting the crime scene making the surrounding bright like sunshine.

But still he started to console her as best as he could but it only made her cry harder. Soon, each boy tried to handle the situation but they were making it much worse as the prior scene was replaying on her mind non-stop.

(A hour ago)

"Bang!!!"

The occupants of warehouse including Y/n and two Taehyungs were shocked. They thought that the boss had shoot V as the girl has made her decision and chosen Taehyung but instead of a bullet, the roof above them fell with a loud bang. And a large boulder fell on none other than the boss, crushing him. 

Everyone went quiet and couldn't help but deemed themselves lucky to not be the one get toasted under fallen ceiling. 

The boss' henchmen were shocked. They couldn't help but let out few crackles upon seeing the weirdness. Their almighty boss got smacked and most probably grind under fallen ceiling. It was not unknown that they were treated badly and looked down by their boss, so they couldn't find themselves getting worried about him too much.

V stood up, punching a shock guard behind him, dusting himself while whistled upon seeing the brutal tragedy of the boss. And here he was bitching on his own fate.

When the smoke caused by fallen ceiling subside, there stood a Jungkook posing like Hercules and flexing his biceps upon the large boulder where the boss was buried underneath.

"Is he a superhuman or enhanced?" One of the men whispered to his fellow. They shamelessly gawk at the new comer's muscles and thought that Jungkook had broken the ceiling with his super powers, his great physique adding cherry to the top. Don't blame the poor souls, they were huge of fan of Avengers.

"Took you long enough Jk" V said sarcastically and went to aid Y/n who was trying to free herself from a guard. He smacked his head from behind and put choke his head until he got unconscious.

Suddenly the sound of ropes were heard from the open or more like shattered ceiling and came down men. A lot of men.

"Party party yeah" Jungkook smirked upon seeing the probably dead Boss' men were surrounded by his gang members.

Y/n finally took a breathe of relief and snuggled in V's bare chest. Seems like God has heard her prayers.

"Well we got stuck in traffic?" Jimin lamely gave excuses.

"So, will y'all surrender or do we start snatching your wigs" Jin threatened in fake deep voice. But the men were still awestruck on Jungkook who was basking in compliments and gooey eyes.

"Cut it out Jungkook!" Jin reprimand him and Jungkook threw away his act with a excessive pout.

"I am not an enhanced or anything. Oh how I wish" he admit, with that the henchmen slouched their postures in defeat as they realize that they got fooled by some silly act.

"We got paid to kidnapped V and his girl, so we are going to finish our work" one of the henchmen said proudly arguing with Jin. And he made a grave mistake.

"Technically speaking, you have done your work by kidnapping them and now you are doing extra work by guarding them too when probably you wouldn't get paid for that as your boss is completely crushed under boulder" Namjoon explained while tugging his glassed upwards ready to start a debate.

"Wow dadd- I mean yeah you are right sir. We will take our leave now" They began to retreat slowly but stopped when V called them out.

"Do you wanna work with us? This is my card, call me when you and your team are ready" he offered kindly. Even though they had hurt him, torture him to great extent, he saw the potential in them and was willing to add them in his team.

"Are you sure?" the supposed leader of the henchmen asked again, not believing his ears. How can the great mafia leader offer them kindness when they have done nothing but ill-treated him?

"Positive" V give them his million dollar smile contrasting his injured and barely covered chest. 

Shortly all henchmen left the warehouse in tears as V's word touched their souls, melting their criminal mind as they already made their mind to work with him in future.

"Thankyou guys, you all came on right time" V expressed his gratitude as once again their loyalty have saved him from heavy danger.

"I am going to find Taehyung" Y/n said and went near the exist as she saw the said man standing there a while ago.

V just looked at her with sorrowful eyes. The boys were confused from her statement but shrugged it off as her distress or time of the month.

"Sorry to interrupt your sappy moment but we kinda need to evacuate this warehouse quickly" Yoongi break in with urgency. 

"What do you mean?" V asked confusedly as he ran his eyes all over the warehouse to find the problem. He couldn't see anything being wrong.

"It was hard to break inside the warehouse so we had instruct John and his team to plant some explosives, so that the walls could be destroyed. He didn't know that we have succeed in breaking the ceiling first and are currently inside it. In almost two minutes, the bombs would explode"  Yoongi checked his special watch and alerted them.

"John is behind this?" V was still confused about the involvement of John but Jin ushered him to go out and that he'll explain later.

"We have enough time to evacuate, don't worry" Jimin lead them out of the warehouse, at a safe distance where Y/n was still trying to find something or someone.

"Did something happened?" she asked upon seeing their pale faces.

"Dynamites are planted in warehouse, it gonna explode in almost one minute" Yoongi informed and tried to tame her unruly hair which was misplaced because of guard's manhandled.

"So what are we waiting for? To infinity and beyond" Jungkook exclaimed and everyone laughed.

"Ah shit! I remember something, y'all stay here " all of a sudden V panicked and went inside warehouse shocking the others. 

"WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING?" JIN SHOUTED.

"IS HE INSANE?" Jimin didn't know what to do. He knew that V wouldn't do anything aimlessly. So he didn't panic and placed his trust on him.

"I am going to check on him" Y/n said and about to move toward the warehouse but Yoongi stopped her as he didn't want another one to join a ticking bomb house.

"Don't! he will come back fast don't worry"

"Only 30 seconds are left. WHERE THE HELL IS THIS BITCH?" Yoongi couldn't help but screamed in alarm.

"Should we check?" Y/n said while trembling. She knew that the boys care for him too and are equally terrified but they are handling the situation better than her.

"No Y/n, it won't do anything good and will only burden him more" Namjoon said but still went a bit near when all of sudden a terrifying sound bloomed.

The place where warehouse was stood, crumbled and explode in flames, smoke and fumes blinded them as they find it hard to breathe. Even though, they were standing no where near the warehouse but the dynamites were much powerful as it shook the ground beneath them.

"NOOOOOOO" Y/n and the boys screamed and without thinking went to near the warehouse but there was nothing but scrapes, debris, rocks and flames. Not a single living soul was there.

They began to search for V without caring about their well-being, scraping their bodies and burning their hands. Y/n's body was aching because of flames as she went deep inside the crumbles of warehouse looking for anything that may guarantee the validate the safety of V. 

"GUYS HURRY!!" Namjoon alert them as he focused on wrapping the body with his blazer and carry him to the exit of ground. Thankfully their gang members were smart enough to call an ambulance beforehand for any casualty which didn't waste anytime in aiding the patient and took off nearby hospital.

Rest of the guys and Y/n couldn't get in the medical vehicle and occupied another car, chasing Namjoon.

During the ride, Y/n was crying and hiccupping thinking about the burning body of V.

(At Present)

An individual who was watching the scene with utmost interested came near Jimin who had occupied himself in one of the corner away from his brothers' bullshit.

"What's happening man? Why is she crying?" he meant to ask only Jimin but his voice was heard by everyone and they give the stranger stank eyes without even looking at him, ignoring a nosy body.

"She is crying for the patient" Jimin answered vaguely and turned around to meet the stranger, to give him a piece of mind and possibly teach him a lesson to never poke in other's matter.

"WHY YOU BITCH TRYING TO- uh ah"

Hearing the commotion Y/n lifted her head and saw the man talking to Jimin and immediately her cries changed into rage as she marched the hallway like a wounded tigress and screamed on top of her lungs.

"IT HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOU" and slapped the unsuspected man.
