I'm back :)

Weeks passed and the day of the competition finally came.

They practiced every day so they can execute their performance nicely.

The bullies never bothered them again but they still receive some stares from other students.

They got used it somehow.

Now they are backstage waiting for their turn to perform.

"Are we really doing this? Is it too late to back out?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes it is too late. We already agreed to this. Just think of this as our everyday practice. No audience, just us." Taehyung said.

"Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook, you three are up next. Get ready." One of the coordinators said.

"Okay, breathe in, breathe out. We can do this, okay?" Taehyung said.

"Fighting!" They said together.

After performing they waited until the announcement of results.

"And the winner is..." The announcer started.

"

I still can't believe it!" Jimin said.

"Yeah. It feels so unreal." Jungkook said.

"Are you happy about the results?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course."

"Even though we only got second place?" Taehyung asked.

"Yup. It's a really high place considering the fact that it's our first time performing in front of an audience." Jimin said.

"And have you seen their faces when we started? They looked shocked. The audience looked like they enjoyed our performance too. And we, of course, enjoyed performing. That's enough for me." Jungkook said.

Taehyung smiled.

He feels proud of himself.

Not because of the performance, but because he was able to help his friends.

"How about we eat something to celebrate?" Taehyung suggested.

The two agreed happily.

"Where's Jungkook?" Jimin asked.

"Oh, he answered a call. He'll be back."

Jimin nodded.

A few minutes later, Jungkook came back.

"Let's go?" Jungkook asked.

The other two nodded in response and they went on their way.

"Hyung." Jungkook called Taehyung.

"Yes?"

"I'm going to tell you something but let's keep it between us."

"What is it?"

"Well, I got scouted by an agency."

"Really? Is that what the call earlier was about?"

"Yep."

"But why keep it from Jimin?"

"I still have to audition and I don't want to be embarrassed in case I fail that audition. And I told you because I know that you won't make fun of me."

"But Jimin won't make fun of you."

"Still. You're the only person that I'll tell this information to. Please don't tell it to anyone."

"Okay then. If that's what you want."

"Thanks hyung."

"Do you need someone to go with you at the audition?"

"Will you come with me?"

"If I find the right opportunity, I might. When's the audition?"

"This sunday."

"That's the day after tomorrow."

Jungkook nodded.

"Already?"

"Yep."

"I'll try my best to go with you then."

Jungkook smiled.

"And we're here!" Jimin said.
