When Jimin and Taehyung arrived at the school, there are only a few students.
It was still early.
They went inside the school together.
When Taehyung went to his room and got to his locker, he opened it and was met by another batch of letters.
"Still got plenty of admirers I see." Jimin teased as he went inside the room.
"I don't even know these people. Why are they even wasting their energy on making these letters for me?" Taehyung said.
"They must really admire you." Jimin said leaning on the lockers.
"But dating really isn't on my mind right now. I'm focusing on my studies until I graduate."
"Yeah sure."
"I'm serious. I don't want my parents' hard work to go to waste. I want to make them proud."
"But that doesn't mean that you couldn't have fun once in a while."
"I might get distracted from school and I don't want that."
"You're such a good son." Jimin joked.
"I know I am."
"Let's go to the tree and wait for the bell to ring."
"Okay."
~Lunch Break~
Taehyung opened the letters with Jimin.
The conversation they had at their house was stuck in his head.
He really wants to help his friend.
Taehyung sighed.
"What's wrong?" Jimin asked.
"Nothing. Just bored."
"I know you have something in your mind. What is it?"
"I just don't get why they treat you like that. You deserve better."
"Tae, it's okay. I'm already used to it."
"But it's not right."
"I know. But we can't do anything about it. They see me as an outcast and that will never change."
"If only there is a way."
"Tae, stop thinking about it and let's just enjoy the peace here."
"Are you usually here when you're alone?"
"Yeah. It's like my sanctuary. If I want to escape from the others I go here. No one really go here."
Taehyung nodded in response.
There's another thing bothering him.
"Are they still bothering you?"
Jimin smiled.
"Not anymore. Ever since you told them off that day."
"How about the other students?"
"Well, they don't really bother me anymore. They just ignore me."
"Should I ask to transfer to your class? I really don't want you to be alone."
"That's not necessary. I'm fine. We see each other on breaks and at home so that's enough for me."
Taehyung really want to spend more time with Jimin.
And then he got an idea.
"Should we ditch?" Taehyung asked, not looking at Jimin.
"Are you crazy? I thought you don't want to do anything that will affect your studies."
"And you said that it's not bad to have fun once in a while."
"Still. It's bad ditching school."
"It's just for today. I just want to spend time with you."
"But we could spend time in the house."
"But I want to now." Taehyung said with matching puppy eyes.
"Fine." Jimin gave in.
Taehyung cheered in joy.
"Let's go." Taehyung said standing up, starting to head towards the gate.
Jimin followed the boy.
And let's just say, they had a great time ditching.
