Stella's POV

I finally landed in the astronomy tower as I dismounted off the broom and quietly made my way back until I heard a clanging.

"Who's there?" I spoke drawing my wand.

A fist year Ravenclaw girl poked her frightened head out and stared, wondering what I was going to do next.

"Please don't hurt me." She whispered as I put away my wand

"What's your name?"

"Helena." She paused "are you going to hurt me?"

"No." I held out "I'm Stella Evans."

"Your Rose's sister aren't you? She was a good friend of mine." I nodded

"Where have you been staying?" I asked as she set down her stuff and dressing my wound

"In the broom cupboard. Nobody has found me there. "

"Do you know by any chance who all Slytherin is allying with?"

"The hufflepuffs and the rest of the ravenclaws-"

"Meaning that it's you, me, and the trio that there after. "

She nodded as she began to dress my wound. "How many are there left?"

"Two hufflepuffs three ravenclaws and four slytherins-"

"Four? I left the alliance yesterday and I only saw three."

No. He couldn't be dead.

"Stella?" The first year laid a hand on my shoulder "was that one of your friends?"

I nodded unable to swallow the lump in my throat "yeah."

We sat in a comfortable silence as we watched the sunset. Suddenly the clock rang a quarter to six as Helena stood up gathering her things.

"I should go."

"Wait. You healed me, the least I can do is return the favor. Be my ally."

She stared for a minute before setting her things down. "Why me?"

"Because you remind me of my sister, and your going all by yourself . You need me."
