Originally you'd have ten fingers held up. A player states "Never have I ever-" then fills it in with something they haven't done. The trick is to say something that's common so other players lose that round, putting down a finger if they have done what you said you haven't. When you have no fingers left, or you have ten showing, this would be if you started with hands in fists and held up a finger as you began counting, when you get to either of those points you lose. Whoever is last to be eliminated wins. 

Since this would be through comments we have to change this up a little. 

All rules apply but this is how you keep score and how the others know how many other chances their friends have to last deeper into the game. 

Keeping track: Keep tally marks on a small part of paper or post it note. For each one you have done draw a tic mark. Once you have ten you lose. 

How other players know where everyone is at: After each round the person who gave the 'Never Have I Ever-" asks everyone something like "who lost one that round?"
