Chapter 2
Cale had no idea what to do. He fumbled for words but nothing came out. Only 2 other people on his team had mics, and ane was trying to say something but he must have had a really bad connection because you couldn't tell what he was saying. The other one either lived under a rock and had no idea who Purple Wolf was or he just hadn't noticed it.
His teammates had started the match but Cale had dropped his controller and was sitting at the spawn with his crappy Flux pistol while Purple Wolf effortlessly slew the enemies.
He finally snapped out of it and managed to ask Purple Wolf if he was streaming.
"Nah dude, I don't usually play with randoms when I'm streaming, I'm on my half-hour break right now." He replied carelessly. He must have been fighting someone because his attention was clearly on something else.
Cale picked up his controller. His team was winning with 23 kills compared to the other team's 14 kills. He ran to the center of the map because that was usually where all the battles were. He wanted to try to look good so Purple Wolf didn't think he was just another random person.
By the end of the game, he had a total of 7 kills, which was really good for him. It looked pretty bad compared to Purple Wolf's 32 kills. Purple Wolf was about to leave the game and re-queue when Cale asked him if he could teach him.
He replied in a sympathetic tone- "Sorry bud, but I just don't have time for that." Cale understood He streamed almost all day, every day. He wasn't going to give up though.
"But you trained almost all of the Toxic members, and they probably started out like me," Cale said in a bit of a hapless tone. Purple Wolf sighed, then replied-
" If you really want to, I can re-direct you to a great Helidan coach."
Cale was in awe, "Thank you so much Purple Wolf!" He said, trying to hold back his excitement. Purple Wolf replied- "No problem bud." "Oh, and call me Wolf."
