Transfer Time

I stood waist deep in the darkness that crawled up my back. While sickly warm light painted my face and upper body. My expression unwavering from slight disbelief. However, I said not a word.

"You heard me correctly. You will be continuing your studies Class 3-E tomorrow. Consider yourself lucky that I didn't expel you."

The only light in the room came in from a window behind the man. The light hit the back of his seat casting a shadow across his face and most of his desk. On the desk was a name plate that read Asano Gakuhō. The principal of Kunugigaoka Junior High School.

He pushed a envelope forward. On it was the my name; Yuuki Kara.

"You may now leave."

"Thank you for your kindness."

I bowed and began my retreat with the envelope in hand. My rose gold hair swayed softly behind me.

Time Skip

The pale moonlight shone through the light blue cuttings.

I blinked a few times letting my vision adjust to the dim room. I glanced over at the digital alarm clock on my bedside table. 4:43... It was too early to get up, but it was too late for me to fall back asleep.

Gradually I pulled myself out of bed and stumbled toward the desk on the opposite wall. The desk had metal legs and a glass top. On the desk was a simple laptop, little lamp, and a pen holder. In front of the desk was a wooden chair. And hanging on it was my school outfit.

I flicked on the bedroom light. Squinting, I grumbled and got dressed.

Tossing my head back I scanned my messy bed for a certain little monster. The plain white blankets with black outlines of little cats danced across the sheets and comforter. In the bottom of the bed was the round furry creature I had wanted.

I shuffled over and scooped the small beast up as it let out a low and soft mew in protest. The black cat pawed my shoulder and climbed up.

Gracefully I walked to the door with the cat still standing on my shoulders. Before I left I did a quick scan of the room.

Left to the door was the desk. Across from it was the unmade bed and nightstand. The adjacent wall had a maple wardrobe that matched the bed-frame and nightstand. In the center of the room was a round white carpet.

The walls were a light beige. The window in the hall was still open and a light breeze came through. A closet was down the hall, and turn the corner was the living room straight ahead. To the right was a short hall the led to the entrance and a bathroom.

"Woah..." The black cat leapt off my shoulders and walked through the living room into the kitchen. A few paces off I followed.

Time pasted and I got bored of waiting. I decide to spent the morning discovering my new classroom. The streets were still dark and the sun had yet to rise. The main building was no longer her destination and so I turned my gaze to the mountain that hid the new building.

My trek up the mountain path was without problem. The old school site was a very weather-worn, wooden, and beat down building. Carefully made my way through the building and learned its layout. The teachers lobby wasn't locked so I let herself in. Inside was a relatively handsome man. He was looking at something on a laptop. I could see from the doorway that it was an email and attached was my file.

There was a picture of me, hazel eyes, rose-gold, and pasty pale white skin. The rest wrote about my stats. Height, 5'4. Weight, ninety-seven pounds. Gender, female. My birthday was not listed though. It merely read as 'N/A'.

"Not much to look at, right Mister?" The man stood up quickly and moved into a defensive position. "Sorry about that."

"I did not hear you, I apolo-"

"Don't apologize to me, you did nothing wrong. Since you know my name it's only fair I know yours." My face and tone remained a constant.

"Karasuma Tadaomi, I'm an agent from the Japan's Ministry of Defense. I'm your PE teacher."

"Why is a agent from the government a PE teacher?"

"Please sit down it seems I have to update you on the situation."

Class is now starting

"Let's begin class today with a new student!" The unknown teacher had a bubbly tone to his voice... The class murmured in anticipation. Karasuma nodded and opened the door for her.

"Welcome! Please introduce yourself."

The teacher was a 3 meter tall, yellow, and talking octopus who could supposedly go Mach20...

"Hello, I'm Yuuki Kara. In case you're wondering I am not an assassin."

"Nurufufufu... You seem surprising calm, I'm Koro-Sensei your homeroom teacher."

He extended a tentacle as if waiting for a handshake. It had to feelers almost like fingers. Then I too extended her hand out of 'curtesy'. There was a load pop and the tentacle turned into mush.

"Nuwah! Again?!"

I just stood there silently, wide eyed, staring at her hand. It seemed that the ribbons of the rubber knives worked.

The teachers tentacle regenerated and he began teaching, his once confidant tone became nervous. He seems almost human.

"Nufufufufu I hope you don't plan to cause problems for Sensei now! Your seat is the open one in the back."

I walked backed she could feel the stares of her new classmates. I could feel their stares drilling into her back.

"Psst! Yuuki-chan..." I looked over to my right and saw a red headed boy with a mischievous grin. "I'm Akabane Karma, just call me Karma though."

"Akabane-kun, It's nice to meet you, however class is starting." I turned my gaze to the board as time soon flew by. I took explicit notes since I honestly didn't find anything better to do.

Lunch came around and after that we get a free period. People were chatting a little and enjoying themselves. Like normal they quickly forgot I even existed.

I had been sitting straight the entire time during class so my back decided to cramp up. I leaned back only to hear someone laugh.

"You've been sitting straight the entire time so it's kind of funny seeing you relax." Noticing that someone was still watching me I immediately pulled myself together cramping or not back or not.

This guy won't leave me alone and he re-alerted the class to my presence. A tall boy with black hair and golden eyes came up to me with an also tall girl with brown hair pulled back into a low ponytail, with green eyes.

"Um... Hello. I'm Isogai Yuma and this is Kataoka Megu. We're the class reps. If you need anything from us just ask." The boy was incredibly friendly.

"Hello."

"I'm Shiota Nagisa." A boy around my height appeared and introduced himself. He's awfully feminine I could have mistaken him for a girl. A girl also around my height appeared. "This is Kayano Kaede."

"How come you aren't eating?" They're too friendly... "Your awful quiet-"

I stood up, grabbed my bags and left. They are far to friendly. If they truly act like that all the time I might open up to them. I walked through the forest not caring were I was going.

I came to a clearing that revealed a cliff. There stood a tree... really though it was leaning horizontally and over the cliff.

I dropped my bag besides a bush and sat down on the tree. I let my legs dangle and looked down. If I fell from here I'd die. Yet I didn't feel anything. I wasn't afraid or sad or anything.

"Yuuki-chan! Here you are... please come away from the edge... Sensei is remembering a not-so-happy memory."

I looked over my shoulder to see the loud octopus. It didn't seemed to want to leave me alone.

I slowly got up, as to avoid plummeting to my death. With a sigh I walked towards my teacher grabbing my bags on the way.

"Thank goodness you're more cooperative than him..." Koro-Sensei muttered under his breath.

I swung a anti-teacher knife towards him. He dodged flawlessly, while disarming me.

"Since you just came here I'll tell you now. I do not retaliate with violence. I simply polish and shine my little assassins." I looked at my nails that were a painted plain white.

"Why white?"

"Sensei knows nothing about you so I did a base coat." I shook my head as I continued down the path marked by the octopus. "Huh? Is there something wrong Yuuki-chan?!"

"I was expecting something different from the creature that blew up seventy percent of the moon."

"Was that a compliment?"

"No."
