I sighed after getting up and going to my next class. "Nathaniel, why're you late to another one of my class" I chuckled "I'm on my period and needed to change my pad" 

The teacher rolled her eyes "sit your ass down" I looked over to see a chuckling Jake. His seat was next to me in this class too.

The teacher soon enough went to the bathroom to eat her daily pickles. I know right? It's really strange but nobody cares if the teacher can leave for at least the rest of the hour. 

"Hey Jake, I'm Nathaniel. You're the new student right" I smirked "No shit. I wonder hmmm? I'm the only one who wants to come to this shitty school" 

I frowned after him saying that "I'm sorry" I turned to the front of the board and grabbed my phone to text siren. 

"Whatever" he then put his head on his desk and soon enough his phone buzzed 

-Conversation start-

Lost: hey i just met this guy and he seems really pissed off at me for some odd reason

Siren: hey right now isn't a good time to message me

Lost: but he genuinely hurt me

Siren: maybe stop being a pussy? Be a man???

Lost: jeez. Just never mind. :(

Siren: hey I'm sorry. Ok? I love ya bud <3

Lost: I love too

Siren: I gotta get going. Ok?

Lost: alright I'll talk to you later?

Nathaniel sighed "I should be sorry" Jake said as he pressed his hand against his temple 

"It's fine. I don't have any guys well one but he's an online friend but in real life friends terms this will be so new" I chuckled 

"Didn't say we're friends"  Jake sighed.

"Baby steps" I said "huh?" He questioned 

"Um nothing" I smirked

—after school—

I was leaning against a fence messaging siren who wasn't answering my messages so this was out of the ordinary. Jake walked over to me "what are you doing??" 

I sighed "I'm messaging my friend but he doesn't seem to want to respond today "I'm worried about him. He's having a rough time in his new school" 

Jake scoffed "tell me about it" I put my phone in my pocket "eh he's probably ignoring me. Everyone does that to me" Jake shook his head "just you saying that makes you sound like a pussy" 

I rolled holy eyes "like you could do any better" He chuckled "is that a challenge" I nodded my head "let me see your phone. I'll message this guy" 

I handed over my phone after unlocking it with my passcode. He then gasped "what?" I questioned. He hugged me tightly accidentally dropping my phone "L-lost?" 

I was astonished "Siren" he nodded his head "oh my god"
