Chapter Sixteen: "Home Life"

Sean moaned into Mark's mouth, his legs spreading until the edges of the shower stopped them. He loved how Mark's hand stroked his neck and jaw, encouraging him to keep kissing him. While Mark's other hand explored every curve and hidden crevices between his legs. All Sean could do was claw at the tile wall and seek out Mark's tongue with his own. Pressing against his back, Mark broke the kiss to ask in a sudden deep husky tone. "Who was your first?" Sean's cheeks burned and spread to the tips of his ears. His voice barely audible when he retorted. "Mark... No. I don't want to think about that right now." Mark's hand between his legs squeezed enough that Sean gasped in pleasure. Then pressing his warm lips to his ear, Mark lightly growled out. "Tell me. Who was it that popped your cherry?" Sean clenched his jaw, shaking his head. He didn't want to think about that. Mark's breath made Sean shiver seconds before his teeth lightly pressed down over the ridge of his ear.

A light whimper left him, when Mark's lips closed around the flesh of his ear and sucked on it. Sean's whole body trembled. Why did the sensation turn him on so much? His nipples hardened enough to cut glass and he rose onto his toes to be more level with Mark's Aesir height. Sean inched closer to the wall in the hopes of pulling from Mark, but Mark merely moved closer to pin him to the cold tile wall. Sean's dragonfly wings shuttered at his sides, when he breathlessly told him. "Mark... It doesn't matter." Mark responded with a deep throaty growl that prompted Sean to state quickly. "This avatar hasn't known anyone, Mark. Please focus on that... In here, you are my first." Mark eased off his ear, giving it a tender lick before whispering to him in a beautiful voice. "I didn't think about that." Taking a deep breath, Sean turned around to face him. He wasn't scared of Mark. His only concern was over Mark's racial trait. Aesir were quick to temper. They were gods of war. They craved it. The last thing he wanted was for Mark to lose himself to it.

Not because he feared for his own life but for everyone else that got in his way. Cupping Mark's face, he pulled his lips toward his, watching the water run down his bangs that shadowed his dark brown eyes. Giving him a warm smile, Sean whispered to him sweetly. "In here, I'm yours... and you are mine." Mark's dark eyes seemed to soften to those knee buckling teddy bear brown, before he kissed him. Wrapping his arms around Mark's neck, he let Mark's hands grip the backs of his thighs to yank him against him more. A soft muffled squeal leaving him, when Mark hefted him up like he weighed nothing, allowing Sean to wrap even his long legs around Mark's broad hips. Their kiss turned heated and breathy. Sean could barely focus on the kiss, with Mark's warm hands caressing his back. It was only when Mark's hand slid down to his ass and his middle finger slipped between his cheeks that Sean broke the kiss to let out a startled cry. Mark's lips went for his exposed throat, sucking hickies onto his skin while his thick middle finger invaded him.

Arching his back, Sean's moans tore from his throat. His wings stretching out over the wet tile wall until they were outstretched completely. Sean's heart raced, watching the muscles of Mark's arms flex. He felt so small and vulnerable compared to him. Running a hand through Mark's dark hair, he softly moaned out to him. "That feels good... Don't stop." Mark kissed a tender spot under his ear that made his eyes roll back. Mark's invading finger sped up, causing Sean's moan to die on his lips as he stopped breathing to ride out the sensation. Only to yelp as Lulu asked from the bedroom doorway. "Mark? Jack? Where did ya go?" Sean thrashed a bit trying to escape Mark, but Mark held him firmly to the wall. Clearing his throat, Mark answered in a gruff but casual sounding tone. "We're in the bathroom. What do you need?" Sean gawked at him like he had lost his mind, but Mark told him under his breath. "She can't hear or see anything. She's too young, remember? And the shower door is censored. Relax."

Lulu didn't enter the bathroom but asked loudly. "I'm hungry. Can we go to the market? There is no food in the kitchen." Mark snorted, allowing Sean to grumble out. "We can't go out without people recognizing us." Mark pushed his finger deeper, making Sean lose his mood with a sharp moan. Smirking at him, Mark called out to her. "We'll go out in a few minutes. How about you check out your room and make a list of things you want. We might pick them up as well." Lulu cheered excitedly, her footsteps thundering away through the house. Sean shook his head at Mark, while Mark purred to him smugly. "Don't shake your head at me. I grew up with a lot of little cousins. That will distract her for an hour if we are lucky." Sean opened his mouth, then snapped his mouth shut with another moan. Mark's finger found his sweet spot and rubbed it gingerly, while he whispered to him confidently. "We can slip in for a few supplies. It's a small town. Then I can show you the greenhouse... Where you can put your Elven skills to use. I read that food grows fast here."

Sean clawed at Mark's shoulders, feeling his orgasm rise as Mark fingered his sweet spot relentlessly. Bringing his lips to his, Mark told him in a deep voice that made Sean's flesh break out in goosebumps. "I'll get you off now... but tonight, I'm taking my time with you." Sean pulled Mark's hair to tilt his head back, claiming his lips as lust flooded him. Mark let him kiss him with a needy hunger, and when Sean's orgasm hit, Sean belted his pleasure into the kiss. Sean's whole body locked up as he rode out the pleasure, listening to Mark utter out unexpectedly. "Wow... So... That must be the light of Alfheim."  Sean opened his eyes, noticing that his pale skin was glowing with a soft golden light that dimmed as his orgasm faded away. Sliding down Mark's body as he set him down on unsteady legs, Sean panted out. "I read something about orgasms being close to dying... and the light of Alfheim is... the light of death." Mark smiled, rubbing his hands along Sean's arms as he said softly. "So, because you're a light elf... you've got some of this... light inside you. Unlike Lulu? A dark elf. Who manipulates shadows?"

Sean shrugged, mumbling out. "I don't know. I'd have to read it again. But it sounds about right." Kissing his cheek, Mark slipped from the shower, leaving Sean utterly spent. Cleaning himself up, Sean dressed himself and made his way out to the living room. Lulu bounced on her heels, telling Mark about everything on her list and why it was important to have each of them. He expected Mark to tell her to narrow the list down. Instead, he just pointed out why certain things wouldn't work and what would be cooler looking. Lulu's eyes lit up as she took his advice and wanted that instead. Or at least some of them. He envied Mark's ability to warm up to kids so easily. He often tried but just felt awkward around them. Biting the tip of his thumb, he smiled as Mark got her all excited to go. Rushing to the door, Lulu leapt out in a hurry wanting to go before all the good stuff was taken. Mark got to his feet, pulling a cloak off the wall to hand off to Sean. Accepting it, Sean mumbled out. "She likes you."

Taking another cloak off the clothing rack, Mark teased playfully. "Jealous?" Sean shook his head grimly. The thought of Mark having kids with Amy clawed at his heart. It was the one thing that he couldn't give him. Yet, it seemed cruel for him not to be a father when he was so good at it. Mark ruffled his hair, chuckling out. "Hey? You ok?" Mark's cheerful mood died, when he asked with concern. "Sean, if what I did in the shower made you feel-" Sean raised a hand to stop him, quickly cutting in with blushing cheeks. "No. I enjoyed it. I just..." Unable to finish, Sean just shrugged. Mark cupped his chin with his hand, whispering lovingly to him. "You want more? Are you mad she cockblocked you?" Rolling his eyes, Sean playfully shoved him away, muttering aloud. "I can wait." Mark chuckled behind him, coaxing a blush from Sean. With their cloaks on, they wandered through the small coastal town market. Sean made sure to buy coffee beans and focused on ingredients and food that he could grew himself.

Mark focused on furniture and decorations for the house with Lulu. Only on occasion asking for his advice. Particularly for the bedroom. The wealth they got from the bosses was enough to pay for it, but after... they were skimming the bottom of their funds. By the time, they arrived back home, all their purchased stuff sat in the rooms for them to organize, paint, or put up. Lulu worked on her room, leaving Mark to do the house himself. Leaving Sean with dinner. He'd bought a few groceries to at least make dinner for tonight. Anything else was meant to grow in the garden. He was surprised Mark had thought that far ahead, but he did like the idea of being self-sufficient. With the food cooking, Sean slipped out to see the greenhouse. The greenhouse was set not too far from the kitchen behind the house. Inside, there was a nice water fountain that fed water to the raised soil beds. Rough canvas bags of their crops sat around the walls. Touching a bag, a menu popped up asking how many he wanted.

Taking one, he moved to one of the soil beds and touched a pre-dug hole, prompting another menu to ask if he wanted to plant it. When he said pressed yes, the soil covered the seed and then asked him. 'Would you like to use the light of Alfheim to help it grow into a healthy plant?' Pressing yes again, he put his hand over the covered soil and watched his hand glow. When the light faded, he moved his hand away and gasped at the little green stem poking up through the soil. He really liked this. It was therapeutic to plant the crops this easily. He organized where he wanted what plants based on how fast the bags said they would grow and how much water they needed. He used the light of Alfheim on each one to help get them started. Then used a watering can to give them something to drink. He got so distracted with the garden and getting everything set up, that he jumped nearly out of his skin when Mark teased out in a low tone of voice. "You are lucky that I took a break to check on the food." Whirling around, Sean blurted out. "Oh, shite! Did it burn?!"

Mark shook his head with a smile, stepping inside the greenhouse as he informed him. "I saved it. Saw you in here from the window. So, I fed Lulu and then decided to come fetch you." Sean bit his lip, mumbling out embarrassed. "Sorry... I got... distracted." Mark looked around at the little plants, purring out coolly. "The place looks nice. Smells good too." Shrugging, Sean set the water can down and said shyly. "I'm not much of a gardener... but seems between my Irish know-how and my Elven race. It was... fun." Mark scooped up a hand full of soft wet soil, letting it fall between his fingers when he said happily. "I had a feeling you'd be good at this. I never had much luck with stuff like this... but I am good at digging. So, if you want to grow the grapevines or corn outside. I can help." Walking up to Mark, Sean whispered back to him innocently. "Maybe tomorrow. I'm tired and... I'm sure you are after all the work you were doing around the house." Smiling, Mark absently told him. "I'm not tired yet. I'm saving most of my energy for you."

Stepping in to hug Mark, Sean warmly said against his neck. "I guess, I better eat to get my own energy up." Hugging him close, Mark led him back toward the house, telling him in a content tone of voice. "This was a good idea. I like it here. Maybe tomorrow we can go fishing?" Sean smirked to himself, glancing out at the water in the distance before adding. "We could have a picnic there. Maybe plan how we plan to get more money..." Mark chuckled, telling him honestly. "I already thought of that. If we get too much food, we can sell it to the market or open up our own market stall to sell them. The NPCs will buy whatever is there to distribute to markets all over the game, if players in town don't buy it." Taking a seat at the little dining table, Mark brought over the vegetable stew for him, but tucked into his own vegetable and meat stew. Sean liked the idea of growing crops more, when Lulu came rushing in from the other room. Turning on the large mirror on the wall, she set down her bowl and said nervously. "Look! Something is happening!"

Mark turned in his seat to look as a voice announced to the carnage on the screen. "Reports are rolling in. The Level two boss has killed sixteen parties that have tried to kill her. Resulting in a riot outside the boss gate as the two rising groups; Gamers and Non-gamers. Are fighting with each other over the supposed sabotage that led to one or some of the previous parties' deaths." Sean gawked as he watched players fighting each other. The voice then announced. "The Valkyries have been called in to stop the senseless violence. However, other parties are taking advantage of the chaos in this time of crisis." Mark quickly covered Lulu's eyes as a man they both recognized leapt into the crowd and stabbed two players in the back, his weapon finishing off both players. It was a player killer from the Specters of Death Guild. They were like assassins. Swooping in to finish off distracted players and claiming their stuff. By the time the NPC Valkyries arrived to separate the players with gleaming silver wings, the members of the Specters of Death guild were gone.

Sean looked to Mark, who returned his uneasy stare. It was frightening to think that the game wouldn't kill you... as much as its players would. Hugging Lulu closer, Mark turned off the mirror and cut the dark mood by asking her. "Lulu? You wanna go on a picnic with Sean and I tomorrow? Catch some fish?" She looked at them with fragile eyes before nodding. To Be Continued...
