EPISODE 4

EXT. THE FIELDS OF WINTERFELL - DAY

The aftermath of the war is shown. Many of the northerners, the free folk, the dorthraki, the unsullied and the second sons died.

All the survivors stand lined up outside of Winterfell. Jon is standing in the middle. To his right are Bran and Arya. To his left are Missandei, Tyrion and Grey worm. Behind them are all the surviving northern lords and armies.

In front of them are multiple piles of hay and wood. On top of every pile, there is a dead body. The bodies of the people who died during the battle.

Gilly can be seen in the background with little Sam. She is crying.

Daenerys is standing next to one of the piles. Jorah body lies on it. She looks at him, crying. She leans over and kisses his forehead.

Sansa is also standing next to a pile. Theon's. She is also crying. Sansa pulls out a stark pin from her robe and places it on Theon's armour. To her, he will always be a stark.

Sansa walks to Arya and Bran. Daenerys takes a final look at Jorah, as a tear falls down her cheek. Then she turns around and walks to Missandei, Tyrion and Grey worm.

Jon steps forward.

JON SNOW
We're here to say goodbye to our brothers and sisters. To our fathers and mothers. To our friends. Our fellow men and women who set aside their differences to fight together and die together so that others might live. Everyone in this world owes them a debt that can never be repaid. It is our duty and our honour to keep them alive in memory for those who come after us and those who come after them, for as long as men draw breath. They were the shields that guarded the realms of men. And we shall never see their like again.

Jon steps back and grabs a torch and so does Daenerys, Tyrion, Sansa, Arya, Brienne and the other northerners as well.

Sansa goes to Theon, Dany to Jorah, Tyrion to Varys, Arya to Beric, Brienne to Tormund and Jon to Sam.

They all look at the person they lost during the war. Then they lower the torches and light the piles on fire, burning the dead.

Daenerys looks at the burning pile with tears streaming down her cheek. Then she turns around and walks back.

EXT. JON'S CHAMBER - DAY

Jon is sitting on his bed. He is upset. You could see it from miles away.

Suddenly the door opens. Jon stands up. Daenerys walks through the door. Jon is both happy and sad to see her. He didn't want to be alone at a time like this. But at the same time, their relationship has gotten rather, complicated, with his newfound identity and everything.

DAENERYS
Am I disturbing you?

JON SNOW
No.

Daenerys closes the door behind her and then she faces Jon.

JON SNOW
I didn't know Ser Jorah well. But I know that if he could have chosen a way to die, it would have been protecting you.

DAENERYS
He loved me. But I couldn't love him back. Not the way he wanted. Not the way I love you.

Jon gives her a gentle smile. Then he looks down at the floor. He is happy to hear her say that, but he feels guilty that he's happy about it. After all they were related.

Daenerys takes a step forward.

DAENERYS
I'm so sorry about Sam. I know he was your best friend. I know how much you cared for him.

JON SNOW
He died so that we could live. I owe him so much. Without Sam, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't know who I was or who my parents were.

There is a pause.

DAENERYS
Have you told anyone?

JON SNOW
No.

DAENERYS
Will you?

JON SNOW
At some point I'll have to.

DAENERYS
So what do we do now?

Jon looks down at the floor, then he looks at Dany.

JON SNOW
I don't want the throne, Dany.

DAENERYS
I know. What if the northern lords want you to?

Daenerys is worried, she'd lie if she said she wasn't. Jon has the better claim to the throne. What if they prefer him? Then again, she knows Jon. If he says he won't rule, then he won't. And Jon wouldn't dream of taking the throne from her. He'd never do that to her. She knows it.

JON SNOW
I'll refuse. They can't force me to rule. Maester Aemon refused the crown as he was sworn to the nights watch and I've sworn myself to you. They'll have to accept it.

Daenerys freezes as she hears the name Aemon. Could it be?

DAENERYS
Aemon? That is a Targaryen name.

Jon is reminded that he hasn't mentioned Aemon to her before. She should know, he thinks. He was her family after all.

JON SNOW
Yes. Aemon Targaryen. Son of Maekar, first of his name, and uncle to Aerys Targaryen. He served as maester at Castle black until his death.

Daenerys is silent for a moment as she gathers her thoughts.

DAENERYS
Did he know about me?

JON SNOW
I believe he did.

Daenerys looks down at the ground. Her emotions are conflicted. She is both sad and frustrated. Sad because Aemon died before she had the chance to meet him. Frustrated that she has lived all her life without knowing about him.

DAENERYS
I've gone all my life thinking that Viserys and I were the last Targaryens left in this world. After he died, I thought I was the only one. Alone. Without any of my family to guide or support me. But now I learn about Aemon and you... If only I had known sooner.

Jon takes her hand and gives her a comforting look.

JON SNOW
You're not alone. Not anymore.

Daenerys gently smiles for a moment. Then she is brought back to the reality of the situation.

DAENERYS
What about us? What about our child?

JON SNOW
I don't know. I don't know.

He sits down on his bed, leans forwards and puts his head in his hands, with his elbows on his knees. It was obvious that this question troubled him.

Daenerys sits down next to Jon on the bed. She looks at him with worry in her eyes.

JON SNOW
The northerners wouldn't approve of us. I doubt the other houses would either. 

DAENERYS
They don't have to approve. When the Targaryens ruled, some lords never approved of it, but they had to accepted it.

Daenerys looks him in the eyes.

DAENERYS
Can you accept it?

He looks at her for a moment. Then he puts his hand on her knee.

JON SNOW
I love you.

DAENERYS
But it's strange to you.

Jon looks down. She knows very well what that means.

She leans forward to kiss him. He looks at her while she leans forward. Then he turns his head down slightly.

She's hurt. She feels rejected. Together with her grief over Jorah, she almost feels angry.

DAENERYS
I'm tired. I think I should get some rest.

Daenerys stands up and so does Jon.

JON SNOW
Of course.

She walks out of the room. Jon's eyes follow her all the way.

She loves him. She loves him with all her heart. But she can't stand how he avoids her gaze at times. She can't stand his doubt. Even if he doesn't say anything, she can feel it. She is ready to fight for him. She needs to know he will fight for her too.

EXT. GREAT HALL OF WINTERFELL - DAY

The remaining northern lords are in the great hall. Daenerys, Sansa and Jon is sitting by the table at the end of the room. Daenerys is in the middle, Jon to her left and Sansa to her right.

Arya is standing by the wall next to Sansa.

Bran is sitting on his wheelchair next to Sansa.

Jamie, Brienne, Daario, Davos and Tyrion are sitting by the tables with the northern lords.

JON SNOW
Now that the great war is over, we need to prepare for the wars to come. It's time for the northern forces to honour their promises and allegiance to the queen of the seven kingdoms.

Mumbling can be heard. Lord Manderly stands up.

LORD MANDERLY
We are eternally grateful for your service. Without your armies and your dragons, none of us would be alive.

Jon looks at Daenerys. She is smiling.

LORD MANDERLY
Having said that.

Everyone listens attentively.

LORD MANDERLY
The Stark's have been ruling the north ever since the beginning. And therefore, a stark should be king in the north.

Daenerys smile quickly fades.

LORD CERWIN
House Cerwin agrees.

Lord Cerwin stands up.

LORD CERWIN
You made sacrifices for the north, all of which are greatly appreciated. But we swore allegiance to house Stark. And we won't break faith today.

The other houses cheer in agreement. Jon looks at Dany. She is not happy about this. She is disappointed.

Jon turns to the northerners.

JON SNOW
I'm not a Stark.

LORD MANDERLY
Not by name maybe, but your Ned Stark's son.

Lord Manderly turns to the other northern lords.

LORD MANDERLY
Who better to lead us into the future, than the son of the most honourable man we've ever known?

JON SNOW
I'm not.

Lord Manderly turns to Jon.

LORD MANDERLY
You're an honourable man, just like your father was.

JON SNOW
I'm not Ned stark's son.

Everyone looks at Jon in shock. Especially Sansa and Arya. Daenerys looks at him. Is he really going to do this? Now?

JON SNOW
I've never been. My father. Is Rhaegar Targaryen.

The northerners start mumbling. Sansa looks down at the table in disbelief. Tyrion and Sansa look at Daenerys in shock. They both can tell that Daenerys already knows this.

JON SNOW
And my mother is Lyanna Stark. They were married in secret. My birth name is Aegon Targaryen.

ROYCE
That is impossible. Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna against her will. It is known.

JON SNOW
They loved each other. They ran away to start a new life together.

LORD MANDERLY
If that is what Lyanna wanted, surely she would have said something.

JON SNOW
Would any of you have allowed it if she had?

They all go silent.

JON SNOW
Lyanna made Ned Stark promise that he would protect me, because she knew that Robert wanted every Targaryen executed. So he took me in and raised me as his bastard.

Jon looks out over the northerners. They are all in shock. Sansa and Arya still haven't said anything. They can't find words.

JON SNOW
If you don't believe me, Bran can confirm it. I'm as much of a southerner as Daenerys is. She risked everything to save the north and she lost half her army defending the north. She should be your queen.

Jon looks over the room. Everyone is quiet. They can't believe what they've just heard. But at the same time, it all makes sense.

Lyanna Mormont stands up and looks at Daenerys.

LYANNA MORMONT
My cousin believed in you. He died for you. House Mormont thanks you for your service. I am grateful that you came north to save us. We wouldn't be alive without you.

Daenerys looks at Lyanna with a hopeful expression.

LYANNA MORMONT
But we wouldn't be alive without Jon snow or Arya Stark either. They killed the night king.

Daenerys face drops, she is clearly upset by this. Lyanna turns to Jon.

LYANNA MORMONT
You may not be a northerner by blood, but you were born and raised here. You're as much of a northerner as any of us.

Lyanna turns to Dany.

LYANNA MORMONT
I trust that you would be a good ruler, but so would Jon.

Jon's face is shown as he looks down at the table.

LYANNA MORMONT
We can not abandon our king.

JON SNOW
You don't have to.

Everyone looks at Jon. He stands up.

JON SNOW
There is one way to solve this issue.

LORD CERWIN
How?

JON SNOW
Marriage.

Daenerys has a surprised look on her face. Sansa has a surprised and dissatisfied look on hers. The northerners and Tyrion are surprised as well.

JON SNOW
A marriage to unite the north and the south once and for all.

Royce stands up.

ROYCE
Forgive me your grace, but think about what you're saying. If what you're saying is true, then you are relatives. Aunt and nephew. That isn't honourable.

The northerners mumble and agree with Royce.

JON SNOW
The Targaryen's have been doing it for centuries. You all, the northerners, the vale and the free folk, won't accept anyone but me as your king. Outside these walls, there is an army of unsullied, dorthraki and second sons and also the iron islands who won't accept anyone but Daenerys as their queen. And I won't accept anyone else as my queen either.

Daenerys looks at him with a loving look.

JON SNOW
If we rule together, we can end this conflict and you won't have to choose.

The northerners don't like the idea, but they see his point. Royce sits down. Jon looks at Daenerys

JON SNOW
Daenerys of house Targaryen, I ask for your hand in marriage. If you'll accept me.

Daenerys wants to smile. But she knows smiling would be inappropriate. Her eyes however cannot hide her happiness.

Dany stands up and turns to Jon.

DAENERYS
I accept

Some of the northerners clap. Sansa is very unhappy with this. Tyrion doesn't seem too pleased either.

Everyone starts to leave the room. Daenerys goes to her chamber. Jon leaves the great hall. Sansa and Arya follow him.

SANSA
Why didn't you tell us?

JON SNOW
I didn't know how to.

SANSA
The dragon queen didn't seem surprised.

They enter Jon's office.

SANSA
You told her before you told us.

JON SNOW
I did.

ARYA
You should have told us as soon as you found out.

JON SNOW
Aye, I should have. I'm sorry. But I needed time to think.

SANSA
Still you told her, before you told your family.

JON SNOW
She's my family too now.

SANSA
And your marrying your family. Don't you understand what this means. You're the true heir to the iron throne, and she isn't. You are the true king of the seven kingdoms. You should rule.

JON SNOW
Her name is Daenerys. And I don't want the throne.

SANSA
You don't want the throne, but you're marrying her to make sure she get's it!

Arya holds out her hand towards Sansa to calm her down, but Sansa doesn't

SANSA
Has it crossed your mind that she might be manipulating you into giving her the throne. That she might be using your feelings for her to get what she wants.

JON SNOW
Manipulating? I told her I didn't want it before she could say anything about it.

SANSA
Then why are you marrying her when you're relatives!

JON SNOW
She is carrying my child Sansa!

Both Sansa and Arya are shocked by this.

JON SNOW
What would you have me do? Let my child be born a bastard. Never.

Jon takes a deep breath to calm himself down.

JON SNOW
I love her, Sansa. If that bothers you, then so be it. But if you won't accept her for the sake of the north. Please, accept her for me.

Jon looks at Arya. Arya nods at him. Jon smiles at her with a soft smile.

He tuns to Sansa. She looks at him with a soft, yet suspicious look.

SANSA
How can I trust her?

JON SNOW
Do you have any reason not to?

EXT. DAENERYS CHAMBER - DAY

Daenerys is sitting on the bed in her chamber. Her hand in on her stomach. She can feel the baby kicking. She is smiling.

There is a knock on the door. Daenerys removes her hand from her stomach.

DAENERYS
Come in.

The door opens and Tyrion enters. He doesn't seem to be too happy. He closes the door and turns to Daenerys.

TYRION
Did you know he would propose?

DAENERYS
No.

TYRION
But you accepted.

DAENERY
I did.

Tyrion sighs.

DAENERYS
You don't approve?

Tyrion goes to stand in front of her.

TYRION
The houses in Westeros are not likely to support a marriage between relatives.

DAENERYS
Once I've defeated Cersei, the houses in Westeros will have to accept it.

Tyrion grabs a chair and sits down in front of Daenerys.

TYRION
I know you want to fight Cersei and take the throne, but we have to be smart.

DAENERYS
What are you suggesting?

TYRION
I wouldn't attack Kings Landing. Not right away.

Daenerys looks at him confused.

TYRION
I'd focus on building a stable relationship with the other houses first. That way you'll have more support and a better chance against Cerise.

DAENERYS
You just told me the houses wouldn't support me.

TYRION
Not at first, but if we convince them...

DAENERYS
If I didn't know better, I'd say you wanted to postpone the attack against Cersei.

Daenerys looks at him with a suspicious face. Tyrion looks back at her.

TYRION
I just want to ensure that you win this war.

DAENERYS
Gaining the houses support could take years. The longer I leave my enemies, the stronger they become.

TYRION
Marriage is a good way to make allies. If you hadn't accepted Jon Snow, you could have married one of the lords of Westeros and made more allies.

DAENERYS
None of the lords of Westeros is the father of my child.

She places her hand on her stomach. Daenerys looks content and Tyrion looks at her in shock.

TYRION
How long have you known?

DAENERYS
I found out shortly after we arrived.

TYRION
And you didn't tell your hand.

DAENERYS
I wanted to be sure.

Tyrion has a worried look on his face.

TYRION
Who else knows.

DAENERYS
Jon and Missandei.

Tyrion looks at the floor. He ponders. Then he looks back at Daenerys.

TYRION
You can't go to war with Cersei when you're pregnant.

DAENERYS
Would you prefer it if I didn't go to war with her?

TYRION
That isn't...

DAENERYS
I won't let Cersei stay on the iron throne and I will depose her. If you're not dedicated to that cause, then I'm not interested in what you have to say.

Daenerys walks out of the room. Tyrion looks at the door with worry in his eyes.

EXT. JON'S CHAMBER - EVENING

Jon is in his chamber, getting dressed. He is buttoning his sleeves.

He is wearing a black leather like top. He puts on a big fur cloak. Half of his hair is tied up in a bun.

EXT. DAENERYS' CHAMBER - EVENING

Daenerys is in her chamber, getting dressed. Missandei is tying the back of her dress.

Her dress is white, and the fabric looks like the scales of a dragon. It has long sleeves and the skirt of the dress flares out in an a-line type of way. The dress has red embroidery on it.

Daenerys is wearing most of her hair down, with some simple braids at the top.

EXT. THE GODSWOODS - EVENING

Jon, Sansa, Bran, Jamie, Brienne, Tyrion, Davos and the other northern lords are standing by the tree in the godswoods. Jon is standing next to the tree. Next to Jon is Maester Wolkan.

Daenerys walks into the Godswoods with Missandei.

Jon has a sweet smile on his face when he sees her. Dany smiles when she sees him too.

Daenerys walks up next to Jon and they both face each other. They both lift their right hand and hold each others.

Maester Wolkan binds their hands with a wedding wrap.

Jon and Daenerys look deep into each others eyes.

JON SNOW/DAENERYS
Father. Smith. Warrior. Mother. Maiden. Crone. Stranger. I am hers/his, and she/he is mine, from this day, until the end of my days.

They kiss. Then they look deep into each others eyes.

EXT. THE GREAT HALL - EVENING

They have a party to celebrate Jon and Daenerys wedding. Jon and Daenerys are sitting by the table in the end of the room. The rest are sitting on the tables in front of them. People are drinking and laughing, celebrating the marriage and celebrating the victory of the great war.

Gendry is sitting at one of the tables. He is looking around the room. He turns around and you can see that he is sitting in front of the hound. Gendry takes a sip of his drink.

GENDRY
Have you seen Arya?

The hound looks at him.

HOUND
You can still smell the burning bodies, and that's where your head is at.

GENDRY
I just want to thank her for...

HOUND
I'm sure you do.

GENDRY
Look, it's not about that.

HOUND
Of course it's about that, you twat. Why shouldn't it be? The dead are dead. You're not.

Gendry stands up and walks off. He walks by the table where Jon and Daenerys are sitting. Daenerys notices him.

DAENERYS
Gendry.

Gendry stops and turns to face Daenerys. All the chattering in the room stops. Everyone looks at Gendry and Daenerys. Jon looks at Daenerys.

DAENERYS
That's right, isn't it?

GENDRY
Yes, Your Grace.

DAENERYS
You're Robert Baratheon's son. You are aware he took my family's throne and tried to have me murdered?

Jon looks at Daenerys with a worried expression. The tension in the room is very thick. Gendry is very nervous.

GENDRY
I didn't even know he was my father until after he was dead.

DAENERYS
Yes, he's dead. His brothers are too. So who's Lord of Storm's End now?

GENDRY
I don't know, Your Grace.

DAENERYS
Does anyone?

Some quiet mumbling can be heard. People think but can't find an answer to who's lord of storm's end.

DAENERYS
I think you should be Lord of Storm's End.

Gendry looks at Daenerys surprised.

GENDRY
I can't be. I'm a bastard.

DAENERYS
No, you are Lord Gendry Baratheon of Storm's End, the lawful son of Robert Baratheon. Because that is what I have made you.

Gendry smiles. Jon looks at Daenerys with a smile as well.

One of the people in the crowd stands up.

MAN
To Lord Gendry Baratheon of Storm's End.

Everyone stand up and raises their glass to Gendry. Gendry is very proud.

Tyrion walks up to Daenerys

TYRION
A fitting reward for a hero. And a Lord of Storm's End who will be forever loyal to you.

Daenerys smiles at him.

DAENERYS
See? You're not the only one who's clever.

Tyrion smiles at her as well.

Jamie, Brienne and Podrick are sitting at a table.

JAMIE
We fought dead things and lived to talk about it and now we have a wedding. If this isn't the time to drink, when is.

Jamie pours her a drink and raises his glass. He smiles at her. She smiles back at him and they toast. They both drink. Brienne looks at Jamie as she drinks from the cup.

Davos and Tyrion are standing on the other side of the room, talking. Davos seems to be troubled.

DAVOS
The last time I saw her, I told her I'd kill her if I ever saw her again.

TYRION
I'm sure you had your reasons.

DAVOS
I did. I do.

TYRION
So did you?

DAVOS
Never got the chance.

Tyrion looks at him confused.

DAVOS
She did it to herself. Or her god did it to her. Lord of Light. We play his game for him, we fight his war and win, and then he fucks off. No signs, no blessings. Who knows what he wants?

Tyrion pours a drink.

TYRION
I don't imagine thinking about that subject will leave you any happier than before.

DAVOS
And what if I'm not trying to be happy?

TYRION
Then you're in luck. We may have defeated them, but we still have us to contend with.

They both look around the room. They see Sansa looking at Daenerys suspiciously, Daario looks at Daenerys and Jon with an almost sad look, they see some northerns lords that seem unhappy with the wedding and so on.

DAVOS
Thank you. I feel much better.

Tyrion walks away.

Bran is sitting by the fire. He is looking into the fire. Tyrion walks up to him.

TYRION
This is clever.

Tyrion points at his wheelchair.

TYRION
Even better than the saddle I designed for you.

BRAN
It's the same as the one Daeron Targaryen built for his crippled nephew 120 years ago. I liked that one.

Bran almost smiles as he says it. Tyrion stands next to him.

TYRION
You know our history better than anyone. That will be useful as Lord of Winterfell.

Bran looks at him.

BRAN
I'm not Lord of Winterfell.

TYRION
You're the only surviving trueborn son of Ned Stark.

Tyrion looks at Bran. He looks at him and realises something.

TYRION
You don't want it.

BRAN
I don't really want, anymore.

TYRION
I envy you.

BRAN
You shouldn't envy me. Mostly I live in the past.

Bran rolls away with his wheelchair. Tyrion looks at him with compassion in his eyes. In a way, he feels sorry for Bran.

He walks up to the table where Brienne, Podrick and Jamie are sitting.

TYRION
I want to play a game.

JAMIE
What kind of game.

TYRION
A drinking game.

Tyrion sits down beside Jamie.

BRIENNE
I think I'll pass.

TYRION
No , it'll be fun. Here's how it works. You make a statement about another persons past. If that statement is true, that person has to drink. If the statement however isn't true, you have to drink. I'll start.

Tyrion looks at Podrick.

TYRION
Podrick.

Tyrion looks at him for a moment.

TYRION
Your mother left you when you were a child.

Brienne looks at Podrick. Podrick is impressed and drinks out of his cup. Tyrion smiles in amusement. He bumps Jamie with his shoulder.

TYRION
Your turn.

Brienne looks at Jamie with a smile. She is curious to what his statement it.

JAMIE
Um... You are an only child.

BRIENNE
I told you I was.

JAMIE
You didn't.

BRIENNE
I did!

JAMIE
I surmised it.

Jamie and Tyrion laughs.

TYRION
Drink.

Brienne grabs her drink and drinks.

TYRION
Go again.

Brienne stops drinking and is almost a bit offended.

BRIENNE
Why does he get to go again?

TYRION
Because it's my game.

Brienne smiles again and looks at Jamie.

JAMIE
You have danced with Renly Baratheon.

Brienne looks at Podrick with a sort of "did you tell him that" look.

PODRICK
No.

TYRION
Drink.

Brienne drinks.

Sansa is seen looking over the room. She notices the hound sitting by a table alone. A girl approaches him. She sits down beside him and touches his arm. He turns around and scares her away.

Sansa walks up to him.

SANSA
She could have made you happy, for a little while.

Sansa sits down in front of him. He is a bit surprised that she is there.

HOUND
There's only one thing that'll make me happy.

SANSA
And what's that?

HOUND
That's my fucking business.

Sansa looks at him.

HOUND
Used to be you couldn't look at me.

SANSA
That was a long time ago. I've seen much worse than you since then.

She gives him a slight smile.

HOUND
Yes, I've heard. Heard you were broken in. Heard you were broken in rough.

SANSA
And he got what he deserved. I gave it to him.

HOUND
How?

SANSA
Hounds.

The hound laughs. Sansa smiles as well.

HOUND
You've changed, Little Bird.

The hound drinks from his cup and Sansa's smile disappears. He looks at her.

HOUND
None of it would have happened if you'd left King's Landing with me. No Littlefinger, no Ramsay. None of it.

Sansa places her hand on his hand and looks him in the eyes.

SANSA
Without Littlefinger, and Ramsay and the rest, I would have stayed a Little Bird all my life.

She lets go of his arm and walks away. The hound looks at her as she leaves. Then he looks down at the table.

We go back to Tyrion and the drinking game. Tyrion has just made a statement about Brienne and he appears to have been wrong. Brienne is laughing and so is the rest of them.

BRIENE
Wrong! Wrong, wrong, wrong! Drink!

Tyrion drinks. Brienne looks at him.

BRIENNE
You were married. Before Sansa.

Jamie points at Tyrion's drink.

JAMIE
Drink.

Tyrion drinks. Jamie looks at Brienne with a smile on his face. Brienne is also smiling.

BRIENNE
You're drinking wine, but you prefer ale!

TYRION
No!

All of them laugh as Brienne drinks. Tyrion looks at Brienne carefully. She has a smile of excitement on her face. Her eyes go to Jamie for a second, then they go back to Tyrion.

Tyrion looks at her like he just discovered something. 

TYRION
You're a virgin.

Brienne's smile disappears. She looks at Jamie a bit embarrassed and then she looks down at the table. Podrick grabs his cup and drinks.

Jamie looks at Brienne. He can tell she's embarrassed.

JAMIE
That's a statement about the present.

TYRION
At no point in the past, up until this very moment, have you slept with a man. Or a woman.

Brienne is still embarrassed. She slowly stands up and looks at Tyrion annoyed.

BRIENNE
I have to piss.

Brienne walks away from the table. After a moment Jamie stands up and goes after her.

Davos stands up and the rooms goes silent.

DAVOS
I would like to make a toast, to the king and queen of the seven kingdoms. Without them, none of us would be alive today.

People cheer. Davos turns to Jon

DAVOS
Without Jon snow, Aegon Targaryen, no one would have convinced the others about the threat from the dead. He lived and he died for the people.

Jon smiles. The people cheer again. Davos turns to Daenerys.

DAVOS
And without Daenerys Targaryen, our forces wouldn't have been enough and we would have been slaughtered. She put aside her one goal and desire for the people.

The people cheer yet again. Daenerys smiles. Everyone stands up.

ALL
To the king and queen of the seven kingdoms!

Everyone in the room is cheering. Even Sansa is seen slightly smiling.

Jon and Daenerys smile. Then they look at each other, still smiling. They both look forward again.

Jon's smile soon fades. King of the seven kingdoms. He didn't even want to be king in the north. Now he was going to be king of the seven kingdoms. He'd much rather just stay with Daenerys and their child somewhere else. Somewhere quiet. For once, he didn't want to worry about everything and everyone around him. He never wanted that responsibility. But somehow, he always found himself being given that responsibility.

EXT. THE FORGE - DAY

Arya is in the forge shooting arrows at a pilar. She hears footsteps behind her, turns around and aims an arrow at the sound. When she turns around she sees Gendry standing behind her.

GENDRY
Don't shoot.

Arya lowers her bow. Gendry walks towards her.

GENDRY
It's nighttime, it's freezing, and everyone's celebrating. You should be celebrating with them.

ARYA
I am celebrating.

GENDRY
Yeah, I am too. I'm not Gendry Waters anymore.

Arya looks at him confused.

GENDRY
I'm Gendry Baratheon, Lord of Storm's End.

Arya smiles at him.

GENDRY
By order of the queen.

ARYA
Congratulations.

GENDRY
I don't know how to be lord of anything. I hardly know how to use a fork.

Gendry goes down on his knees in front of Arya. She is surprised.

GENDRY
All I know is that you're beautiful, and I love you, and none of it will be worth anything if you're not with me.

Arya looks at him with a compassionate look.

GENDRY
So be with me. Be my wife. Be the Lady of Storm's End.

Arya kneels down in front of him and kisses him as she helps him up.

ARYA
You'll be a wonderful lord...

Gendry smiles at her.

ARYA
...and any lady would be lucky to have you.

His smile disappears.

ARYA
But I'm not a lady. I never have been. That's not me.

Arya walks away and leaves the room. Gendry has a heartbroken expression on his face.

EXT. JON'S CHAMBER - EVENING

Jon and Daenerys enter the room. Lit candles have been places on various places throughout the room. None of them say anything. None of them have to.

Jon closes the door and they look at each other. He walks around her and stands behind her. He pulls her hair over her shoulder and starts undoing the back of her dress.

When he's done, she turns around and looks at him. He looks at her. He is hesitant. He slowly leans forward and kisses her.

He kissed her softly, gently pulling her towards him. Suddenly he stops. He looks her in the eyes. He just looks at her.

Daenerys is nervous now. Can he do this? Is he going to reject her again? She doesn't know if she can handle him rejecting her again.

Jon raises his hand to gently brush her cheek, then cups her face. His eyes are filled with love and warmth. He kisses her again, this time more passionately. One hand on her waist and the other behind her head. Her hands cupping his face.

EXT. BRIENNE'S CHAMBER - EVENING

Brienne is in her chamber, getting ready to go to sleep. She throws a piece of wood into the fireplace.

Someone knocks on her door. She opens it and sees Jamie standing outside her door. He has a bottle of wine in his hand and he holds two cups with his other arm.

JAMIE
You didn't drink.

Brienne is confused. Jamie walks into the room and places the wine and cups on a table.

BRIENNE
I didn't drink?

JAMIE
In the game.

BRIENNE
I drank.

JAMIE
In the game. This is Dornish.

Jamie pours the wine into the cups.

BRIENNE
This is not the game. This is only drinking.

JAMIE
Suit yourself.

He hands her a cup and she takes it. She seems to be very confused.

JAMIE
You keep it warm enough in here.

Jamie takes off his jacket.

BRIENNE
It's the first thing I learnt when I came to the North. Keep your fire going. Every time you leave the room, put more wood on.

JAMIE
That's very diligent. Very responsible.

BRIENNE
Piss off.

JAMIE
You know the first thing I learned in the North? I hate the fucking North.

BRIENNE
It grows on you.

JAMIE
I don't want things growing on me.

He turns around and looks at Brienne. They both look at each other for a moment.

JAMIE
It's bloody hot in here.

He tries to untie the strings on hit shirt. It seems impossible to do with just one hand. Seeing him struggle with it is almost annoying to Brienne. He starts using his teeth to try and untie the strings.

BRIENNE
Oh, move aside.

She removes his hand, stands in front of him and unties it for him.

Jamie lifts his hand and starts to untie the strings on Brienne's shirt. Brienne is shocked and confused by this.

BRIENNE
What are you doing?

JAMIE
I'm taking your shirt off.

Brienne removes his hand and unties her shirt. She proceeds to remove Jamies shirt. Then she removes her own. They both look at each other for a moment.

JAMIE
I've never slept with a knight before.

BRIENNE
I've never slept with anyone before.

JAMIE
Then you have to drink. Those are the rules.

BRIENNE
I told you...

Jamie grabs her and kisses her. She kisses him back.

EXT. JON'S CHAMBER - EVENING

Jon and Daenerys are lying in bed, with a big fur blanket over them. Daenerys has her head on Jon's shoulders, and her hand on his chest. Jon has his hand on her hair.

JON SNOW
You never told me about Daario.

DAENERYS
Didn't I?

JON SNOW
You didn't.

DAENERYS
There's nothing to tell.

JON SNOW
Nothing?

Daenerys looks at him with a smile on her face.

DAENERYS
Are you jealous of Daario Naharis?

JON SNOW
No, no. I just don't like him.

DAENERYS
Why? Because he's handsome? Because he's tall or because he knows his way around girls?

JON SNOW
Thank you Dany, I feel so much better now.

DAENERYS
He's not very fond of you either.

JON SNOW
Oh, so you've been talking about me.

DAENERYS
He did compare you to a dwarf.

They both laugh

JON SNOW
That bastard.

Daenerys looks at him with a loving look.

DAENERYS
He's the one who should be jealous. He wasn't the one I married.

They smile at each other and kiss. She places her head on his shoulder again. Jon's face has a peaceful expression. Then it changes. He starts to think about something.

JON SNOW
Dany?

DAENERYS
Yes?

JON SNOW
Why is the iron throne so important to you?

DAENERYS
It's my, our, birthright.

JON SNOW
I've heard of many kings who didn't want the throne even if it was their birthright. I never wanted to rule the north, even when it was my duty.

Daenerys gets a sad expression on her face. She sits up. Jon looks at her with worry in his eyes. He sits up as well.

DAENERYS
I have lived in exile ever since I was a little girl. I've been on the run ever since I was born. My brother and I could never stay in the same place for too long, because of all the assassins after us. For a while, we stayed in a house with a red wooden door and a lemon tree. Eventually we had to leave that as well. Sometimes I find myself dreaming about that red door and lemon tree.

She smiles at the thought of that house. Then her smile fades.

DAENERYS
I've never had a home. Never had a place where I belong, where I feel safe. King's Landing is my home, my family's home, and they took it from me.

JON SNOW
We can build our own home.

Daenerys looks at Jon.

JON SNOW
We could forget about Cersei and the iron throne.

She places her hand on his hand.

DAENERYS
As long as anyone else sits on the throne, our claim is a threat to them. And I,

She puts his hand on her stomach.

DAENERYS
we, will never be safe.

Jon looks at her for a moment. Then he takes her hand and kisses it, then he cups her face with his hands.

JON SNOW
We will defeat Cersei. We will take the iron throne and then we'll build a new world, a better world. A home. You have my word.

He places his forehead on hers, they both close their eyes. For a moment everything around them disappears, and they just focus on each other.

EXT. WINTERFELL COURTYARD - DAY

Parts of Winterfell are being repaired or rebuilt after the damage from the great war. People are bringing in barrels and material through the gates.

A disguised man sneakily pretends to help the men with the barrels and gets through the gates.

When the man is inside the gates, he hides behind one of the buildings. His face is shown. It's Bronn.

He leans forward slightly and looks at the courtyard. He can only see soldiers and northmen. Then he notices a golden hand. He looks up and sees Jamie. Jamie fucking Lannister.

Bronn brings out the crossbow and aims it at Jamie. He loads it and puts his finger on the trigger.

He waits, and waits, and waits some more. He is breathing heavy. He gets ready to fire. Then he lowers the crossbow. He takes a deep breath. He can't do it.

He looks over at Jamie again and notices that he leaves the courtyard. Bronn puts his hood on and follows him.

EXT. WINTERFELL STORAGE ROOM - DAY

Jamie walks into a storage room full of liquor and food. He closes the door behind him and grabs a bottle of whine and opens it.

The door opens and Bronn quickly enters the room. Bronn quickly closes the door. Jamie is startled and places his hand in his sword.

Bronn pulls his hood down and looks at Jamie.

JAMIE
Bronn?!

BRONN
Shhh! Scream a little louder, would you.

Jamie is confused. Why is he in Winterfell?

JAMIE
What are you doing here?

BRONN
Doesn't fucking matter what I'm doing here.

Bronn walks to the door and opens it slightly. He looks through the small door opening to make sure that no one's coming.

JAMIE
I think it does, actually.

BRONN
I'm not here to have a chat with you about my recent adventures.

JAMIES
Then why are you here?

BRONN
To tell you that you can't go back to King's Landing.

JAMIE
What?

BRONN
Stay in Winterfell. Or any other place for that matter, but keep as far away from that shit city as possible.

JAMIE
And why would I do that?

BRONN
Because Cersei is trying to have you and your brother killed!

Jamie is shocked. He knew his sister, he knew what she was like. But he'd never imagine she'd actually have him killed.

BRONN
Oh shit!

Bronn sees some soldiers approaching the door. Bronn turns to Jamie.

BRONN
I wasn't here, do you hear me.

Jamie nods, still in a bit of shock. Bronn hides next to the door so that when it opens, it covers him. The soldiers enter the room and see Jamie.

SOLDIER 1
Ser Jamie.

They bow and go to grab some vegetables. The soldier drops one vegetable and it rolls behind the door. The soldier goes to get it, but Jamie stops him.

JAMIE
Just grab another one instead.

The solider looks at him confused.

JAMIE
Have you seen the amount of shit on this floor. Believe me, you don't want that vegetable anymore.

The soldier looks at the floor and then grabs a new vegetable. The soldiers leave the storage room. Once they've left, Bronn closes the door.

JAMIE
Have you told Tyrion?

BRONN
No, but I will.

JAMIE
I'll tell him.

BRONN
No, you won't. You won't say anything about our conversation.

JAMIE
Why?

BRONN
Your brother and I have some unfinished business.

Jamie is confused. Bronn steps towards Jamie.

BRONN
You owe me one. I could have just stood by and let Cersei kill you. So you keep your mouth shut.

Bronn looks out the door and sees that no one is there. He gets ready to leave.

JAMIE
Bronn!

Bronn stops and turns around.

JAMIE
Thank you.

Bronn nods, then he leaves the room.

Jamie is sad and angry at the same time.

Yes, he left Cersei, but he still loved her when he left. And he only left to fight the dead, the true enemy. And for that, Cersei would have him killed. If there had been any love left in his heart for that woman, that love had just disappeared.

He is done with her. He is done with her games. Done with her rules. If she is going to make him her enemy, then he will indeed be her enemy.

EXT. THE LIBRARY - DAY

Tyrion, Jon, Sansa, Arya, Daenerys, Missandei and Davos are discussing the upcoming battle plans. There is a map on the table. There are different figures on the table as well, representing the different armies.

GREY WORM
Half the army is gone.

Grey worm removes half of the figures that represent the unsullied, Dothraki and second sons.

TYRION
And the Golden Company has arrived in King's Landing, courtesy of the Greyjoy fleet.

Tyrion ads some figures to Cerise's side. Daenerys isn't happy about the removal from her side and the adding to Cersei's side.

DAVOS
The balance has grown distressingly even.

Missandei has a confused look on her face.

MISSANDEI
When the people find out what we have done for them, that we saved them...

DAENERYS
Cersei will make sure they don't believe it.

DAVOS
Thankfully, she's losing allies by the day. Yara Greyjoy has retaken the Iron Islands in her queen's name. The new Prince of Dorne pledges his support.

DAENERYS
No matter how many lords turn against her, as long as she sits on the Iron Throne, she can call herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Daenerys turns to Tyrion.

DAENERYS
We need the capital.

TYRION
I watched the people of King's Landing rebel against their king when they were hungry, and that was before winter began. Give them the opportunity and they will cast Cersei aside.

JON SNOW
We'll surround the city. If the Iron Fleet tries to ferry in more food, the dragons will destroy them. If the Lannisters and the Golden Company attack, we'll defeat them in the field.

TYRION
Once the people see that Cersei is our only enemy, her reign is over.

Daenerys listens to what everyone has to say.

DAENERYS
All right.

SANSA
The men we have left are exhausted. Many of them are wounded. They'll fight better if they have time to rest and recuperate.

Jon looks at Daenerys.

JON SNOW
I think it's best if we stay in Winterfell until you've given birth. Our child will be safest in Winterfell and that way the armies have time to rest, the dragons have time to rest and you have time to rest. They'll need all their strength.

TYRION
I agree.

Daenerys doesn't like the idea of waiting. But she knows they are right. The armies need to rest and she can't risk loosing her child.

She nods at them.

Everyone start to leave the room. Jon stands by the map a little longer, looking over the battle plan. Jamie is seen standing by the door.

JAMIE
Your grace.

Jon turns around and sees Jamie.

JON SNOW
Ser Jamie.

JAMIE
A word?

Jon gestures that he can come in and Jamie goes to stand next to Jon. Jon looks at Jamie, waiting for what he has to say.

JAMIE
You'll be leaving for King's Landing.

JON SNOW
Not directly, but in due time, yes.

JAMIE
I want to join you. I want to fight alongside you in the upcoming war.

Jon is surprised by this.

JAMIE
I knew your father. I had great respect for him and I looked up to him. He was the only one I knew who was worthy of being king. I'd be honoured to fight for his son.

Jon thinks for a moment. Now he had heard yet another good thing about his father. It makes him happy.

He looks at Jamie and nods at him, showing Jamie that he can come with them. Jamie is grateful and bows before he leaves the room.

EXT. WINTREFELL - DAY

The armies are preparing for the war against Cersei. Some are training while others are resting and healing.

Missandei and Grey worm are seen walking through Winterfell. They look at each other with love in they eyes.

Jon and Daenerys are seen walking up to Drogon and Rhaegal in the courtyard of Winterfell. Daenerys is visibly pregnant now. Both Drogon and Rhaegal were hurt after the battle and have been resting.

Daenerys walks up to Drogon and pets him. Jon pets Rhaegal. Drogon spreads his wings and jumps off, flying away. Rhaegal follows him. This is the first time they've flown since the battle. Daenerys looks at them with a smile.

Daenerys turns to Jon and smiles at him. Sansa can see them from the walls of Winterfell. She watches them. She isn't angry or dissatisfied. She just watches them.

Jamie is seen lying in bed with Brienne. She is sleeping. He looks at her with a smile.

EXT. THE COURTYARD OF WINTERFELL - DAY

Jon is standing and talking to some soldiers. He is discussing the battle plans for the upcoming war. Davos is seen running towards them.

DAVOS
Jon!

Jon turns around. Davos stops in front of him.

DAVOS
It's Daenerys.

Jon gets really worried for a moment.

DAVOS
She's giving birth.

Jon forgets everything around him and rushes inside the castle.

EXT. CERISE'S CHAMBER - DAY

Qyburn is seen outside Cersei's door. He knocks on it.

QYBURN
Your grace?

He knocks one more time. Still no answer. He opens the door and enters the room.

He can Cerise's head next to the bed. She appears to be sitting on the floor. She doesn't say anything. It sound like she is crying.

QYBURN
Your grace?

Qyburn walks around the bed and sees Cersei sitting on the floor in a pool of blood. Her dress skirt is covered in blood and she is indeed crying.

EXT. WINTERFELL - DAY

Jon is outside the room as Daenerys is giving birth, walking back and forth. He is visibly very nervous.

Inside the room are Daenerys, Maester Wolkan and Missandei. Daenerys is lying on the bed and Missandei is sitting next to her, holding her hand.

Daenerys is struggling. She is sweating as she pushes the baby out. She is clearly in pain.

EXT. CERSEI'S CHAMBER - DAY

Qyburn kneels down and tries to help Cersei up as she cries. She starts screaming and crying hysterically.

EXT. DAENERYS' CHAMBER - DAY

Daenerys is pushing as hard as she can.

MISSANDEI
Breath your grace. Breath.

Daenerys tries to breath as calmly as she can, but it hurts so much. She screams in pain.

Daenerys scream can be heard all over the castle of winterfell. Just like Cerise's scream can be heard all over the red keep. 

EXT. WINTERFELL - DAY

Maester Wolkan and Missandei leaves the room. Jon is outside, waiting nervously. Maester Wolkan nods at Jon, showing that everything went fine.

Maester Wolkan leaves.

Jon looks at Missandei and Missandei smiles.

MISSANDEI
It's a girl.

Jon's eyes start to tear up as he smiles at the news. A girl. He had a little girl now.

EXT. DAENERYS' CHAMBER - DAY

Jon opens the door and enters the room where Daenerys and the baby is.

He sees Daenerys lying in bed. She has their daughter in her arms. She looks at the baby with a big smile on her face.

Jon smiles at the sight. They're so beautiful, both of them. He walks up to them and sits in the bed next to Daenerys. They both admire their daughter.

JON SNOW
She's so small.

They both gently laugh.

DAENERYS
Do you want to hold her?

Jon holds out his arms and Daenerys gently hands him the baby. He holds her as carefully as he possibly could. He looks at her with a big smile on his face. Tears start to fall down his cheek.

Daenerys gently brushes the baby's cheek with her finger. The baby holds out her arm and grabs Daenerys finger. Both Jon and Dany laugh.

DAENERYS
I was thinking of naming her Lyanna.

JON SNOW
Lyanna Targaryen.

Jon smiles as he says the name out loud.

JON SNOW
I love it.

He looks at Daenerys. They kiss and then they place their foreheads against each others.

Sansa enters the room and sees Jon and Daenerys. She can see the baby in his arms. She smiles.

Jon and Dany notices her presence and looks at her.

JON SNOW
Come here.

He speaks quietly because he doesn't want to disturb the baby.

Sansa walks up to them and looks at the girl.

JON SNOW
Her name is Lyanna.

Sansa smiles as she gently brushes the baby's arm. Then she looks at Daenerys.

SANSA
I was hoping that I could speak to Daenerys.

Jon looks at Daenerys and she nods at him. She leans forward and carefully kisses Lyanna's forehead. Jon slowly stands up and leaves the room.

There is an awkward silence.

SANSA
Your daughter is beautiful.

Daenerys smiles.

DAENERYS
Thank you.

The awkward silence is back. It's almost like none of them know what to say. Or are they just too proud to say anything?

SANSA
I wanted to thank you, for helping us in the great war.

Sansa sits down in the chair next to the bed.

SANSA
I fear that I haven't been very welcoming towards you.

DAENERYS
With good reasons.

Sansa is confused. Is Daenerys agreeing that Sansa shouldn't have trusted her? Daenerys has a compassionate look on her face.

DAENERYS
Your brother told me what happened to you.

Sansa looks at the ground.

DAENERYS
We have that in common you and I. We've both been abused by cruel men.

Sansa looks at Daenerys like she doesn't understand what she means.

DAENERYS
My brother was cruel. He sold me to a dorthraki khal in exchange for an army. He told me he'd let the whole tribe fuck me, all forty thousand men and their horses to, if that's what it took to get the army.

SANSA
What happened to him? Your brother.

DAENERYS
My husband poured liquid gold onto his head after he had threatened to kill me and my son.

SANSA
Your son?

Sansa is surprised.

SANSA
You have another child?

DAENERYS
Had.

Daenerys eyes are sad as she says the word. Sansa notices that.

DAENERYS
My husband was dying and I took help from a witch to save him. In the end she had poisoned him and killed my child.

SANSA
What did you do then?

DAENERYS
I stepped into a fire, and my dragons where born.

Sansa didn't know this about Daenerys. She had heard that she came from nothing, but she didn't know how much she'd been through.

DAENERYS
We are not defined by the people who harmed us. We are defined by how we survived them.

Sansa thinks about that for a moment. Then she leans forward.

SANSA
I should have thanked you, when you arrived. That was a mistake.

DAENERYS
I don't want us to be at odds with each other. You're Jon's sister and he loves his family above everything.

They're both quiet for a moment.

SANSA
You helped save the north, and you gave birth to Jon's child. You are family too now.

Daenerys is touched by hearing her say that.

DAENERYS
Thank you, Sansa.

They smile at each other.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF WINTERFELL - DAY

The hound is seen leaving Winterfell on a horse. He is riding on a path when suddenly Arya rides towards him.

The hound notices her.

HOUND
For fuck's sake.

ARYA
On your own?

HOUND
Not anymore.

The hound sounds annoyed when he says it.

HOUND
I don't like crowds.

ARYA
Me neither.

HOUND
Why not? They all love you now. You're the big hero.

ARYA
Don't like heroes.

HOUND
It must have felt good sticking dragon glass in that horned fucker.

ARYA
Felt better than dying.

The hound laughs slightly.

ARYA
You're heading to King's Landing?

HOUND
I have some unfinished business.

ARYA
Me too.

HOUND
I don't plan on coming back.

ARYA
Neither do I.

They're both silent for a while

HOUND
Gonna leave me to die again if I get hurt?

ARYA
Probably.

The hound laughs and Arya smiles.

EXT. THE COURTYARD OF WINTERFELL - DAY

Jon, Daenerys and the others are preparing to leave for Dragonstone.

Sansa, Bran, Brienne and Gilly are seeing them off as they leave.

Jamie is seen standing with Brienne. You can tell by her face that she is sad.

Jamie tuns around and looks at Brienne.

BRIENNE
Don't die.

Jamie laughs and smiles gently. Brienne returns the smile. She has tears in her eyes.

BRIENNE
Make sure you come back to me.

JAMIE
I will.

They look at each other for a moment. Then Jamie kisses her. Then he walks to the horses. Brienne watches him as he leaves.

Jon walks to Gilly. She is standing next to the balcony with little Sam. He looks at Gilly with sadness in his eyes. He knows she misses Sam. He looks at little Sam. He brushed his hand against the boys cheek and then he ruffles his hair.

Jon looks at Gilly. They hug. He can clearly feel a bump on her stomach.

He pulls back in shock. He looks at Gilly. She nods at him. She is pregnant with Sam's child.

JON SNOW
Once all this is over, I'll come back to get you. I'll take care of you.

GILLY
Jon, you don't...

JON SNOW
Sam was the best friend I ever had. It's the least I could do for him.

Gilly is quiet for a moment.

GILLY
We talked about naming the child Jon, if it was a boy.

Jon gently laughs.

JON SNOW
I hope it's a girl.

Jon turns around and walks towards Sansa. Daenerys walks towards Maester Wolkan with Lyanna in her arms. She kisses the child's forehead before she gives the baby to him.

Jon walks up to him and also kisses the baby's forehead.

He then turns to Sansa and Bran.

He hugs both of them. First Bran, then Sansa.

Jon takes a step back and looks at Sansa.

JON SNOW
Promise that you'll take care of her while I'm gone.

SANSA
I promise.

Jon smiles at them. Then he walks towards the horses.

Daenerys walks up to them

SANSA
I wish you good fortune, your grace.

Daenerys smiles at Sansa. 

DAENERYS
Thank you, my lady.

Daenerys smiles at Bran.

Daenerys turns around and start walking towards the horses.

SANSA
Daenerys.

Daenerys stops and turns around to look at Sansa.

SANSA
Cersei likes to play games. Don't let her fool you into doing what she wants you to do.

Daenerys looks at her confused. Then she nods at Sansa and walks to the horses.

Daenerys walks up to Jon and they both see Ghost standing by the gates. Jon waves at him to come. Ghost runs towards them.

Jon kneels down and pets Ghost.

JON SNOW
I'm going to miss you boy.

Ghost moves closer to Jon and kisses (licks) his face. Jon laughs and Dany smiles at the sight. Jon stands up. Daenerys also pets Ghost.

Then they walk to the horses. They mount the horses and leave Winterfell with the armies.

The dragons are seen flying away from Winterfell.

EXT. DRAGONSTONE - DAY

The dragons are seen flying over the sea. The dragons fly up in the air and Dragonstone is shown.

They arrive at Dragonstone with their ships. Greyjoy ships are at the shore. Daenerys and Jon are worried when they see the Greyjoy ships.

When they get closer, they see a woman standing on one on the ships. It's Yara. Their worry disappears when they see her.

They travel to the shore by boat. Yara is waiting for them.

Daenerys and Jon leave the boat and walk towards Yara. Daenerys is happy to see her.

YARA
My queen. My king. Congratulations on your marriage and your child.

They smile at Yara.

JON SNOW
Thank you.

Daenerys and Yara greet and shake hands.

Yara looks behind them to see who's in the boat. She's looking for Theon. She looks at Daenerys with a worried expression.

YARA
My brother?

Daenerys has a compassionate look on her face.

DAENERYS
Your brother fought bravely, but he fell on the battlefield.

Yara is saddened by the news, but part of her knew she wouldn't see her brother again.

Tyrion walks up to them. Yara notices him.

TYRION
Yara Greyjoy. I was glad to hear that you reclaimed the iron islands.

YARA
Unfortunately, Euron still has many of the ships in his possession. I heard that the prince of Dorne pledged his support. Will he send his men as well?

TYRION
Their support is more of a political alliance. Not so much a military one.

There is a pause. One of the Greyjoy soldiers walk towards them.

SOLDIER
Your grace, your grace. A message has been received from the capital.

Jon, Daenerys and Yara seem surprised. Tyrion gestures towards the gates.

TYRION
Come. It seems as though we have important matters to attend to.

They walk towards the gates and enter Dragonstone.

EXT. DRAGONSTONE MAP ROOM - DAY

Tyrion, Jon, Yara, Daenerys, Daario and Jamie are standing in the map room in dragon stone. They stand around the map. Tyrion is reading a piece on paper. It's from Cersei.

TYRION
Cersei wants to meet. She wants to discuss the future peace of the seven kingdoms.

DAENERYS
That's ironic, isn't it. She's the one preventing peace in the seven kingdoms.

DAARIO
You shouldn't see her.

Tyrion looks at Daario with an almost offended expression.

TYRION
And why not?

DAARIO
If she's anything like you say she is, then she won't talk about peace. She's bringing you there to make you angry. If you're angry, you're not going to make good decisions.

TYRION
I doubt that she is stupid enough provoke someone with dragons.

DAARIO
Then she wouldn't be stupid enough to start a war with one either.

JAMIE
He's right.

Everyone turns to Jamie.

JAMIE
Cersei isn't inviting us to make peace. She won't give up that easily. She knows you to be impulsive. She might think that making you angry will guarantee you to make a mistake.

TYRION
Your grace. If we can avoid a bloodshed and come to an agreement with her, isn't that the best thing to do. Isn't that what's best for the people.

Daenerys turns to Jon. She wants his opinion as well.

JON SNOW
The least we could do is hear what she has to say.

Daenerys thinks for a moment.

DAENERYS
Fine, we will meet. But I want Drogon by my side. And I want Rhaegal to guard the ship.

YARA
The iron fleet will be by your side, your grace.

DAENERYS
No.

Yara and the others are confused.

DAENERYS
We'll only bring one ship and a few men, in case Cersei tries anything. I don't want to lose too many men or ships.

The others nod at her decision. 

Daenerys looks at King's Landing on the map.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF KING'S LANDING - DAY

Jon, Jamie, Tyrion, Daario, Grey worm and a few unsullied travel with one ship to King's Landing. They are received at the port.

Jon, Tyrion, Jamie and Daario leave to wait for Cersei outside of the gates. Grey worm and the unsullied stay behind and guard the ship. Rhaegal can be seen flying above them.

Once Jon, Tyrion, Jamie and Daario arrive outside the gates of King's Landing, Daenerys is seen flying on Drogon and lands next to them. They are standing very far away from the gates. None of them trust Cersei enough to get any closer.

Daenerys, Jon, Jamie, Tyrion and Daario are waiting outside of kings landing. There are two big object on each side of the gate. They are covered with a blanket, so you can't see what it is.

The gates open. Cersei, The mountain and Qyburn walk through the gates towards Daenerys and the others. Cersei stops a couple of meters in front of Daenerys.

No one says anything at first. Cersei looks at Jamie. Her expression is sad and angry at the same time. Then she looks at Daenerys. Daenerys and Cersei just stare at each other.

CERSEI
Daenerys Stormborn of house Targaryen. First of her name, breaker of chains, the mother of dragons. You have so many names that I can't even remember them all.

DAENERYS
I can't say the same about you. I only know you as Cersei Lannister.

CERSEI
Queen of the seven kingdoms. That is the only title that matters. A title that you'll never obtain.

DAENERYS
You're mistaken. The throne is mine by right, and I will rule.

CERSEI
How can you be so sure? Even if you were to take king's landing, none of the noble houses in Westeros will support the mad kings daughter and the people
fear you.

DAENERYS
That is because you fed them lies about me.

CERSEI
Lies? So you didn't burn and crucify noble men?

DAENERYS
And you've never punished your enemies? I gave them the justice they deserved. I punished them with the same methods they used on slaves, innocent people.

CERSEI
Innocent? And how do you know that all the hundreds of men you punished were guilty?

Daenerys grows more impatient. You can see anger starting to break through in her face

CERSEI
Face it. You want to look at yourself as a liberator. But the reality is that you're nothing more than a conquerer. You're no better than I am.

DAENERYS
After Aegon had conquered the seven kingdoms, the Targaryens ruled for centuries. Even if I'm a conqueror, that doesn't mean I'm unfit to rule. And I am better than you.

CERSEI
How is that?

DAENERYS
Because I'm giving you a choice. I'm giving you the opportunity to surrender and to spare your life. I'm giving you the option to end this conflict peacefully.

Cersei and Daenerys stare at each other. They both have determined looks on their faces.

TYRION
Cersei. Be reasonable. Think about your child.

Cersei looks at Tyrion with an angry expression.

DAENERYS
Surrender the throne, and in return I'll let you and your child be. I will show you mercy.

Cersei looks at Daenerys with an angry expression. Then she has a sly smile on her face.

CERSEI
I should be the one demanding you to surrender. I have the golden company, twenty thousand fresh soldiers. Your army just came out of a war. They're exhausted.

DAENERYS
I also have two dragons.

Cersei smiles.

CERSEI
Two? You used to have three, didn't you.

Daenerys has an angry expression on her face. Cersei is walking on thin ice, talking about her dead child.

CERSEI
That means your dragons aren't invincible. You're not invincible. This isn't a war that you can win.

Daenerys and Cersei stare at each other. 

EXT. PORT OF KINGSLANDING - DAY

Grey worm and a few of the unsullied are on the ships. They are waiting for Daenerys and the others to return.

Grey worm looks up at the walls of kings landing. It's so high that the people on top look like ants from where he's standing. He sees people moving at the top of the wall, but he can't see what they're doing.

Suddenly, Grey worm sees a thick spear flying from the wall through the sky. Then the only thing you can hear is a scream. A dragon scream.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF KINGS LANDING - DAY

Daenerys hears Rhaegal's scream and she looks towards the port in horror. Jon, Tyrion, Jamie and Daario do as well. Tyrion looks at Cersei with a disappointed face.

They can see Rhaegal falling and the ship sinking. Daenerys looks at Cersei with fire in her eyes, she is furious. Cersei smiles.

EXT. PORT OF KINGSLANDING - DAY

The spear hits Rhaegal's chest. Then another spear hits his neck. And a final spear pierces through the dragons eye. He falls through the sky screaming. He falls into the ocean, sinking to the bottom.

Spears are fired at the ship from behind them. Grey worm turns around and sees Greyjoy ships. It's Euron. He is seen laughing like a maniac as he fires spears from the giant scorpion (crossbow) on his ship.

The unsullied try to flee from the ships, but many don't succeed. When they reach the shore they see Lannister soldiers running towards them.

They are outnumbered. Grey worm tries to fight and defend himself as well as he can. But then two soldiers grab him.

Another soldier stabs him in the back so that he falls to his knees. Then the soldier cuts his throat. His body falls to the ground.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF KINGS LANDING - DAY

Cersei has a smirk on her face.

CERSEI
And now you only have one left.

Daenerys looks at Cersei with fury in her eyes.

Cersei turns around and walks towards the gates.

Daenerys walks to Drogon and mounts him. She is going to kill Cersei.

Before Daenerys can attack, the blankets on the top objects on each side of the walls is pulled off. Underneath are two modified scorpions.

Daenerys stops. If she walks too close to the gates, they will shoot Drogon. She watches as Cersei enters the gates. Word's cannot describe how angry Daenerys is.

She looks at Jon and the others, showing that they should mount Drogon and fly back to Dragonstone.  

Jon sits behind Daenerys, Daario behind Jon, Tyrion behind Daario and Jamie behind Tyrion. They fly off.

Daenerys face is both angry and sad. She had given Cersei a choice. Cersei made her choice. There's no other way. Cersei had woken the dragon. Daenerys will have to bring her fire and blood. And make no mistake, she will.
