It is hard. Trust me! It is harder to adjust to new surroundings to make it feel like home than making decision to leave home. And that's exactly what  Thor was feeling now.

He was offered heaven to stay but he politely declined saying that he needed to say this realm and which beings he was gonna protect from Lucifer.

He was now walking through the streets of Bulgaria. He wasn't exactly sure why Uriel decided to drop him here or maybe he just chose a country randomly. Uriel had pretty hard time explaining to him that what is nation and all. But he knew how there were several countries and nations now and this so called Bulgaria is one of those nations.

He saw that people were running towards bus and a man fell down. He quickly used his agility and took him out of the way .

The man looked both grateful and shocked. He was quite sure that he should have been dead. Not that he was eager to be but this couldn't have been possible.

Seeing the crowd collected, Thor knew that this would attract Lucifer's attention if he continues to do that . He had to figure out a way to hide.

He briskly ran tearing through the crowd with no idea where to go. His veins filled with chasm and only thought in the mind :blend.

Time skip
Thor is sitting in a bar drinking wine. He couldn't say he miss home. He had been there too long . But he couldn't really say that he was enjoying here too. He had found nothing to focus here .

No enemies and even though that was good , he was bored and when bored , well drown it in apple martini.

"Hate to break it to you . But you look real pity face. Not gonna pick any girl like that ." A guy chuckled sitting near him on a chair and asked the bartender for two shots.

"Oh! I already have a girl." Thor replied .

"Great! Maybe you could be wingman for today." He grinned.

"What is wingman?" Thor asked puzzled.

"Boy! You are really drunk , aren't you? " He chuckled.

"Yeah! So what do I call you ?" Thor sipped the drink.

"Brian! Brian Connor." He forwarded his hand and they both shook.

After few minutes

"So let me get this straight. You people have a switch which can make everything visible going in a room when pressed?" Thor turned to him.

"Yeah ! Wingman! It is surprising that I never thought about it that way." He wondered.

"Sure! You didn't." He grinned.

Quite soon both were walking outside laughing and chatting to each other.

"You know my brother Will Connor is one heck of a guy . You won't believe what he says." He laughs.

"Oh! Who is he?" Thor asked curiously.

"He says he has seen through something called mist and say what ! Greek gods are real . And best part comes now! He is searching for immortality as if he is gonna find it ever." He told Thor. Thor started to think deeply. If what he says is true , then there is more to mortals than he thought.

But what was his brother doing in Bulgaria coz he had mentioned earlier Will Connor resides in USA or more specifically California.

But right now that wasn't his concern.. what he wanted was to blend here and after today , he was pretty sure that earth is gonna be great or at least he thought.

[ Fact: Will Connor is actually the one who met Alex blaze , lord of time in a book " Terrific terror and the weakening mist" and is now doing his own adventure in 27th century . I am actually writing about Will Connor as former Olympian God of speed who was cursed to earth . The book I am working on "Trials of Mercury" in paperback version has protagonist  Will Connor actually. I just thought that to base this story in year 2017 would be great. Coz this story is actually different but in same universe as my " Alex blaze and Greek gods one universe " . I have already published that book which is based in year 2019. So all this events are taking place too but 2 years earlier before Alex blaze was born. And if you are liking this , then you will probably like Trials of Mercury and all"]

This was short chapter I know but there wasn't much I could think about Thor blending with mortals.
