Hecate is goddess of witchcraft, crossroads, magic , ghosts,mist etc. Daughter of Asteria and mother of Circe (I think you must have heard of her for sure. She used to turn anyone who insulted her to guinea pig).

Selene and Helios were brother and sister. And like Pietho , Selene was also cousine of Asteria , thus aunt to Hecate and Hecate was also cousine to Artemis and Apollo born from Asteria's sister Leto. I know it is complex relationship.

But we are only gonna talk about Hecate here and some Olympians so let's forget it.

Hecate knew that even if she couldn't go to save Asteria , she had to warn Olympians. If an Egyptian god can side with Lucifer and imprison a Greek goddess , then they are a threat to all Greek gods.  So Hecate teleported in front of gates of Mount Olympus with her polecat.

Two gatekeepers were there guarding the doors . Their spears were locked prevented anyone from entering it.

"I seek an audience from Zeus, King of Gods." She told them. They cleared her way seeing that it was Hecate. The doors opened revealing a perfect scenery.

There were many architectural pieces and statutes lost to human history there for gods wanted for themselves. There were twelve thrones and one throne at peak on which a bearded man with crown was sitting chatting on mobile. All were busy on their mobiles.

"Hey Hermes! My internet is not working." Apollo whined.

"Why are you telling me that ?" He asked puzzled.

"Coz you are god of internet." He shrugged.

"Yes! Answer the question." Athena chimed.

"Why are you getting so hot to meddle in our talk ? Why don't you use your vast wisdom to start troubleshooting programme." He snickered.

"I am not getting hot. And I am not internet mechanic."She defended..

"Yeah! That is work of Hepasthesus." Dionysus said drinking wine.

"No! I am more of blacksmith guy." He chimed.

"Would you stop acting like kids? Don't you see someone is here?" Artemis groaned.

"Oh! Hi cuz" Apollo grinned to which Hecate frowned. She wasn't used to being called that and certainly not in front of everyone.

"Hi! Now if you can all close your mobiles." She began.

"It is not exactly close." Ares chimed.

"Yeah! Term is like switch on or off." Athena told her.

"Well! Wise Olympians, if you understand what I mean , then just do it." She glared to which all quickly acted and quietned .

"What is the news , Hecate?" Zeus asked seriously.

"Lucifer had started a war . Obtained flaming sword. Their God is knocked out . Last time I heard heaven was in Chaos. And Lucifer sided with Egyptians and chained Asteria to hell. Fortunately she was able to get out . But this is forthcoming indication that they are looking to decimate us. " She told them.

A silence fell over Council.

"If they want a war , let's give them one." Ares shouted with rage.

"Sit down, Ares. This is not time to act rashly." Athena advised him to which he reluctantly agreed.

"We understand. And if they are indeed planning that , then we will not spare them. But right now , we can't go on with war. We mustn't interfere in war between Lucifer , Egyptians and Heaven . After they are weakened by war , we will attack them ." Zeus announced. All agreed to it after certain murmur and text messages.

"I need to ask a favour too but that is only helpful for us." Hecate chimed.

"What ?" Zeus asked.

"I need you to allow me to bring a dead mortal back to living realm in his body." She presented. There was a loud murmur.

"This goes against the rules. No god of any world do this. It will destroy the fundamental aspect of mortality." Athena refused.

"Yes! She is right. We can't allow this." Zeus agreed.

"Then you can lose this war ." Hecate flared her eyes .

"What are you saying?" He asked puzzled.

"Thank you for your time. I told you everything that I should have and what needs to be done. Now whether you win or see Olympus fall to its enemies will be because of your actions." She bowed her head and then was gone.

Everyone looked at Athena and Zeus expectantly. Zeus sighed.

"I am never wrong. It is best way." Athena assured them.

Hecate's work wasn't done but. There was still a need to ask for some other gods help. Roman gods. Greek and Roman entity if Olympians had seperated long time ago and even though they existed co-linear peacefully, she knew that there was bit of rivalry between two.

But now wasn't time to be struck over petty issues of "who stole Bellona or why did Venus chose Ares more than Mars?"

Right now there was a need for them to come together. Greeks were thinking that since angels are not immortal , they are safe but they were only half right for Lucifer is a master of deception. So much that even Hecate can't figure him out some times and that is why those two gods had to come together to face greatest threat in world of gods , angels and mortals.

This wasn't just a question of who sits on throne of heaven anymore. Now thrones of every realm was in danger and all were eager to establish their dominance. This had become something far bigger than she had imagined.

For Throne of Heaven , Hell , Olympus , Duat, Underworld , Tartarus, Sky , Sea and Earth all were in danger from everywhere.

This had become something much more complex and bigger. This is Game of Realms.
