Sana: Hi Jijs, aapki juti badi kamaal ki lag rahi hai. Mera dil aa gaya ispe.

Sidharth: Haaye, tumhara dil bada hi murkh hai, aaya toh aaya par humare juti pe, kash hum pe aa jaata.

Sana: Oh ho! Aap toh abhi se shayarana mizaz mein aa gaye hai. Gharwali dikhi nahi toh Saali se hi flirting?

Sidharth: Arey kuch sunayi de raha hai kya?

Sana: Kya? Shaadi ka ghar hai bahut kuch sunayi de raha hai. Aapko kya sunayi de raha hai jo mere sawaal ka jawab nahi de rahe?

Sidharth: Arey, tumhare sawaal ka hi jawab hai.. background mein "Pyaar ki raah mein chalna seekh" ghazal sunayi de raha hai ki nahi? Men will be men.. upar se aadmi saali se flirt na kare toh laanat hai uske janam pe..

Sana: Aap toh bade chant nikle Jijs. Suniye toh, (whispers) meri friends aapki juti churaane ki taakh mein hai.. aap apne jutey mujhe de dijiye, main ussey sambhal ke rakhungi..

Sidharth: (tilts his head towards his left with a smile) Ji nahi.. Aap bhool rahi ho Saali Sahiba, aapke jijs Police inspector hai. Chor ki nas nas se waaqif hai.. Aapko jutey toh milne se rahe. Bad luck!

Sana: Agar chura liye toh?

Sidharth: Chura ke dikhaye, phir dekhenge..

Sana: Dekh lijiye mujhe jeetne ki aadat hai..

Sidharth: Aur hume haarne ki aadat nahi hai..

Sana: Jiju, aap toh gaye kaam se..

Sidharth's eyes were glued at Sana the whole time as he was challenged. He was sitting on a sofa waiting for the marriage proceedings to start. Sana comes with a cold drink for him.

Sana: Jijs, yeh lijiye.. cold drink pijiye, thak gaye honge hume takhte takhte.. (whispers in his ears) Pata hai na aapko ki humara boyfriend hai toh itna mat taadiye mujhe..

Sidharth smiles and looks at her as she goes away after giving him the cold drink.

"Var ko bhulaiye, vivaah ki vidhi aarambh karte hai", the priest says.

Sidharth leaves his footwear and asks his friend Madan to look after it. He goes and occupies the groom's seat in the pandal. As Sidharth gets occupied with the rituals, Sana goes to Madan.

Sana: Aap jijs ke dost ho?

Madan: Ji haan..

Sana: Aap bhi inspector ho?

Madan: Nahi Lawyer hoon..

Sana: Aap na bade handsome ho. Aapki shaadi ho gayi kya?

Madan gulps and looks behind to find his wife chatting with someone else.

Madan: Ji nahi..

Sana: Wow! (Sana signals her friend Neha from far) Phir toh humari dosti se kisi ko aitraaz nahi hoga. Haina?

Madan: (sweating) Ji.. Bilkul..

Neha: Sir aapki biwi aapko bula rahi hai.

Madan: (looks at Sana) Sorry. Meri biwi... Woh.. woh..

Sana: Achcha apne toh kaha ki aap single ho. Dhokha! Rukhiye abhi aapki biwi ko batati hoon aapke karnaame.

Madan: Please mera talak ho jayega. Aaisa mat karo. Aap jo bologi woh main karunga.

Sana: (frowns) Jijs ke jutey de dijiye. Main bhool jaungi ki aapse maine koi baat bhi ki thi..

Madan: (looks at Sidharth who glares at him and nods to say no) Ye lijiye.. abhi aap kuch nahi bolengi na?

Sana: (takes the footwear) Ji? aap kaun?

Madan smiles while Sana turns around and shows Sidharth his sandals. Sidharth frowns as she lifts her eyebrows and teases him. Sidharth facepalms.

"Vadhu ko bulaiye", the priest ordered.

"Sana, go and escort your didi", Sana's mother instructs.

Sana nods as she hands over Sidharth's footwear to Neha to hide and goes to Yukti's room.

"Di.. di.. di.. kaha ho aap?", She calls out for Yukti as she pushes the door of the bathroom.

Yukti was nowhere to be seen. Sana gets a shock of her life when she finds a note written by Yukti.

I can't sacrifice my dream and career for this stupid arranged marriage. Please don't try to find me.

Sana calls her father on phone and asks him to come to the room. Her parent's get the shock after reading Yukti's note. They call Sidharth's parents and tell them the same. His parents were frustrated as they felt insulted.

Sidharth's Father: Dekhiye, humari bhi izzat hai society mein. Hum logo ne bhi shaadi pe itna kharcha kiya. Kya jawaab denge hum logo ko?

Sidharth's mother faints as she experiences anxiety. Sidharth was raged when he saw how much humiliated his parents were feeling because of Yukti's family.

Sidharth: We aren't going empty handed from here. Yukti nahi toh Sana se shaadi karunga.

Sana looks at him in shock.
'What the hell? Inko toh maine Vansh ke baare mein bataya hai. Didi ke bhaagne ka gussa mere par kyu nikal rahe hai ye?'

Sana's father: We are fine with your decision. Hum Sana ko ready karke laate hai. Aap please humein maaf kar dijiye. Hum Yukti ke iss harkat se bahut sharminda hai aur main usse aaj ke baad koi sambandh nahi rakhunga. Jisne humara sarr sharm se jhuka diya, woh humare liye marr gayi. Meri sirf ek beti hai, Sana.

Sana's thoughts - Beti kahan ki? Bali ki bakri bol dijiye. Kya karu main ab? Vansh ko call karti hoon sabke jaane k baad.

Sana's Mother: Sana taiyyar hoke chalo neeche.

Sana: Haan, Maa aati hoon.

Sidharth glares at her and snatches her phone. Sana looks at him in shock which later turns into anger.

Sidharth: Agar ye bhi bhaagi na toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga. Aap iske saath rahiye aur apne haaton se sajjakar leke aaiye.

He goes away from there and sits in the pandal. Sana's mother gets her ready in the bridal wear left by Yukti.

Sana had no option infront of her as she knew her parents will not listen to her plead. She was taken to the pandal. Sidharth and Sana get married. Both of them were not smiling nor were they in the mood of talking to each other.

Sana was sent with her husband, Sidharth. She calls Vansh sitting on the nuptial bed.

Sana: Hello Vansh. (Cries)

Vansh: Kya hua? Ro kyu rahi ho? Didi ko vida kiya kya?

Sana: Di bhaag gayi aur uska jurmana mujhe chukana pada. In logone zabardasti meri shaadi kara diya di ke dulhe se.

Vansh: Kya?

Sana: Vansh, Main nahi maanti iss shaadi ko. Mujhe lekhe jao yaha se.

Vansh: Pagal ho kya? Koi aam aadmi nahi hai woh. Police inspector hai. Aur dusri tum mano ya na mano, sab isko shaadi hi maanenge. Apna saath yahi tak tha. Happy married life. Bye. (Disconnects)

Sana: Nalayak, Gadha, Kutta, Kamina.. Dath.. Achcha hua iss kaayar se shaadi nahi huyi.. But jiju.. arghhh.. iss inspector se kyu honi thi? Ye kya ho raha hai mere saath. Meri kya galti thi? Rukh, Iss inspector ki band main bajati hoon. Aisa karungi ki apne shaadi ke faisle par pachtayega. (Cries dramatically) Saali saali karke bahut flirt kar rahe the aur puri gharwali bhi bana liya. Ab pata nahi kya karega? (Looks at the decorated bed)

She gets up and pulls the entire decoration down from the bed. She picks up a jug full of water and pours it on one side of the bed and goes to sleep on dry side.

He walks inside the room and looks at the mess. He then looks at the bed which was soaking wet. He frowns and walks towards her side of the bed and picks her up in bridal style and takes her to the bathroom. She starts hitting him on his chest but it didn't have any effect on him. He puts her down and pours an entire bucket of cold water on her head. She was shocked. He walked out living her shivering and occupied the dry side of the bed.

She stomps out of the bathroom in anger and takes a pair of dry clothes from her suitcase and changes into it.

She goes to open the door to go and sleep on the couch outside but it was locked by him from inside already.

Sana thinks -
"Arghh.. badi jhaansi ki rani ban rahi thi ab yeh kumbhkaran araam se so gaya aur tu? Tu kaha soyegi Sana? Yaha filmi sofa bhi nahi hai iss room mein jo uspe so jau. Aisi suhaagraat kisi ki nahi hoti hogi..

Haan jaisi hoti hogi waisi chahiye thi  kya tujhe?

Kabhi nahi.."

She takes the extra duvet on the bed and spreads it on the floor and sleeps on it.

"Shukar hai ispe paani nahi daala maine.. jaisi karni waisi bharni. Soja Sana, kal sabak shikhate hai isse."

She wakes up with a neck and back pain as she was habituated to sleep on a cozy bed at her parent's home.

She freshens up under hot shower and comes outside to find him ironing his police uniform. She smirks. He keeps it ready and goes to take bath when Sana turns on the iron box and keeps it on his uniform and goes out.

Sidharth's Mom was cooking in the kitchen.

SM: Aao beta. Achche se soyi tum kal raat?

Sana: (touches her neck as it was still hurting her) Haan aunty ji.

SM: Kal jo hua uske liye sorry. Gusse mein Sidharth kuch ka kuch kar deta hai aur uske saamne hum bhi kuch nahi kar pate. Dil ka bahut achcha hai bas gussa aata hai toh usko sambalana bahut mushkil ho jata hai.

Sana: Hmmm..

SM: (sniffs) Kuch jalne ki boo aa rahi hai. Haina?

Sana: Aaa.. aa.. Achcha? (Sniffs) Mujhe toh nahi aa rahi..

SM: Aa to rahi hai..

Sana: Nahi aunty ji.. aap rukhiye main dekhti hoon.

She saunters slowly towards the room to give more time for his uniform to burn. When she finally reaches her room she finds him getting dressed in a formal shirt. The iron box was unplugged and the burnt uniform was kept folded. She chuckles and he laughs uncontrollably. She looks at him in surprise.

She sniffs and could still smell the burning odour which was getting stronger. She goes in the direction to find that her whole bag of clothes was on fire. She splashes the water on it from the nearby tap but it was of no use. She runs back to the room and looks at him smiling. She holds his collar and yells at him.

Sana: Mera pura suitcase jala diya. Main kya pehnungi ab? Mere saare kapde jala diya tumne.

Sidharth: (pulls off her hand) Puri istri kharab kar di..(rearranges his collar properly and smirks) You set the bar, I will raise it.

Sana: I hate you!

Sidharth: Thank you!! Dare you say anything to my parents, I will return it in multi-folds, remember that.

She stomps out of the room and goes outside to sit and cry in a corner.
