Planet Mobius 91
Just remember, the story is human version which means Sonic characters will be humans; except for Deadly Six. The last time I did a human Sonic version story was SonAmy Werewolf Curse 4 years ago.
Sonic characters belongs to (c) SEGA.

(Sonic's POV)
I'm Maurice but I liked to be called as Sonic instead because I like to be fast as the shooting star in space. I have royal blue hair and green eyes like emeralds and I signed up to join the Galactic Academy, a place for us humans and humanoid aliens. So, I just have to wait until I get selected or not by tomorrow morning in the mail.
Right now, I'm racing against my green haired mohawk rival Jet in hoverboarding at the hoverboarding race arena with audience watching us by those floating telescreens and they are betting on who will win.
"Deja vu repeats itself as always, Jet!" I laughed and passed by him.
"NOT THIS TIME, SONIC!!!" Jet tries to catch up but couldn't since I'm always the fastest in hoverboarding.
"Second place isn't bad, Jet!" I laughed and reached the finish line and the crowd goes wild that I'm the winner.
"WOOOOOHOOO! GO SONIC!" Some cheered out. A pink haired girl with jade eyes held out a sign saying "SONIC IS 1#". Man, she really idolizes me. Whoever she is, I think I found my favorite fan girl.
I walked up to get my prize for the race. I won a cute wisp alien as my pet; something that my sister Sonia really wanted in her whole life.
"Aren't you a cute little guy? Yes you are and you are coming home to see my sister that loves cute little aliens." I said and the wisp flies with me.
"I don't know why I even try." Jet got off his hoverboard and grunts in defeat; like every single time when he loses.
"Come on, Jet. Winning isn't everything, it's about having fun and trying your best." I said and got on my hoverboard.
"Yeah, but sometimes winning is like saving my ass from danger." Jet scoffed in annoyance.
"Well, in my opinion, it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." I explained and left the arena along with my wisp.
-
It was nearly sunset and I made it back to the city and back to my home sweet home; I parked my hoverboard near my door and my sister with magenta hair rushed towards me and gave me a very squeezed to death hug.
"Agh! Sonia! Good to see you but can you let your brother breathe for life?! My lungs are begging for their life! Please let go!" I strained from nearly turning purple.
"Sorry! I just saw you on TV! You won a wisp that I desperately want!" Sonia said and released me from my near death of stop breathing.
I let out a very heavy breath for my lungs to breath in some oxygen; damn it my sister needs to learn to restrain herself.
"Awww..... so cute." Sonia took the wisp.
"I didn't name him, so you should give him a name." I said.
"I'll call him Yacker because I hear that wisps make alien garble noises." Sonia hugged her wisp with love and happiness.
Yacker made happy garbling noises and hugged her back. We both got in and saw our brother Manic at the couch watching TV.
"Congratulations on kicking Jet's ass, bro. You don't get tired of winning, do you?" Manic asked.
"Not once." I replied.
"When will that happen?" Manic teased me with an annoying question.
"Who knows. Maybe on a Friday the 13th." I said.
"You think its always a bad luck day?" Manic snickered.
"Perhaps. Anyways, where's mom?" I asked.
"In the kitchen. She's been on the phone with the master of the Galactic Academy for 30 minutes." Manic replied.
"She's hoping you'll get accepted tomorrow. She's just too worried that you won't be accepted." Sonia said.
"Don't worry Sis." I smiled confidently and walked to the kitchen and there was my mom on the phone.
Typical mother she is but I know she's worried about me the same way she worries about my brother and sister because she's a single mother. It has been almost 10 years since my father died in a galaxy war in space and mom had to take responsibilities as a mother to take care of me and my siblings. And now that I'm 16 years old, my mother thought that I could take my father's place at the Galactic Academy to fight planet invaders.
"Yes, I call you later. Bye." She hung up and saw me. "Oh, hi my blue baby Sonic." She said.
"Hey mom." I greeted her.
"I saw you won the race on TV." Mom said, she always watches me on TV competing against my rival.
"Once again against Jet." I chuckled.
"Heh, always the cocky teenage boy I love. Anyways, I spoke with Master Espio and he said to not worry if you're accepted or not. I've also been saving this when your father left this before going to war." Mom hands me a blue glittery style star badge with my father's name Jules on it.
"Heh, matches my hair color." I looked at it.
"Yeah, and maybe tomorrow if you get accepted, you'll have a badge of your own." Mom chuckled.
"Yeah, if he was alive, he would be so proud of me growing up to be a somebody. I mean I have fans that idolize me but I want to be more than just a hoverboard racer." I said, going to the fridge which automatically opens up for me to get my leftover food.
"What do you want to be?" Mom asked.
"That I'm not sure. I need to let the stars give me a sign when I'm at space." I said.
"Jules said the same thing. He believes that stars give answers and maybe it will for you." Mom said.
"Yeah. He's our hero." I said.
-
Later, I was outside of my room balcony looking at the beautiful blue and pink nebula patterns in the night sky of space. "Oh father. If only you were here and told me about your experience in space still." I gave a sigh, I really missed dad. I was really young when I last saw him, I think like 6 years old.
We used to have so much together as a father and son type of thing. He would show me the place filled with wisp creatures. He would also tell me stories of the Deadly Six; those 6 zetis that invade planets and drain the life force. The leader out of them, Zavok was said to be the most terrifying out of them. But over the years, no one has ever heard of them again; some say they are lost in deep space.
Then I noticed a shooting star in the sky. Heh, it could be my father's spirit signal but that's just a metaphor. I looked at my watch and saw it was late, I better get to bed now.
I looked at the star badge that belonged to my father. I still have these memories of him in my childhood but he never got the chance for him to see me grown up to become a man.
(Flashback)
I was 5 years old and my dad took me to a wonderful place filled with wild wisps in the bioluminescent forest at night.
"Where are we, dad? This place looks like glowing stars but on the ground?" I was confused at the glowing effects on the trees and forest.
"These are the wisps my boy." Dad explained.
"Whoa, they look cute. Do they really glow at night, dad?" I asked him.
"Yes. Each possess their own unique ability." Dad said.
"Like a superhero?" I guessed.
"More than just any superhero, son. Alien creatures can do amazing things for good. Maybe when you're older, you might become a hoverboard racer like Uncle Chuck did." Dad said.
"Awesome." I smiled and we saw one green wisp appear before us.
"What does this one do?" I asked dad.
Apparently, it made me turn green when I touched it and it just went through me like a ghost. "Huh?! I'm green!"
"Sonic! You're using its power now." Dad saw me hover.
I was floating up high and it made me feel like I'm flying a super kid. "Weeeeeeeeeee!" I flew up in the sky.
"Whoa, easy, son! I don't want you to get hurt!" Dad warned me.
Something made me go to my dad and the wisp left my body and I got in front of my dad again and I became a normal colored kid. "Oh, thank goodness."
"That was wild! Do you think I'll be like you some day to discover what's beyond space?" I asked.
"Someday, son. When you're ready. You are still a seed and I'm a tree. When you become a tree, you will know." Dad said, lying down to observe the galactic stars.
"Do you believe a true hero will stop those zeti guys?" I asked and lied down with him.
"Yes. One day a hero shall rise and take them down once and for all. And if something bothers you, I'll always be there to support you, my little blue star boy." Dad said.
"Always, dad?" I asked.
"Yes, even when my time has come, I will be in your heart." Dad points at my chest.
"Even to my siblings?" I asked.
"Of course. I love you three equally. You're mine and your mother's treasures." Dad pulled me in for a hug.
(End of flashback)
I still miss him alot but now I just have my mother that took care of us. And now I'm grown from a boy to a young man and now it's time to get out there and become a man like my dad did.
"I won't let you down, father." I said and got in bed.
