(Silver's POV)

Man, my arm is still a little sore from getting shot and altering my conscience which I can hardly remember how savage and crazy I went. Blaze is checking my arm to make sure there's no infections or side effects.

"Yeah, it was a psychoactive drug from a plant that Starline put on the dart. It probably hit my hedgehog instinct to go very savage like a wild animal than going feral as a human." I said, groaning from getting checked by her.

"Sonic said that you were fast and made growling and snarling noises like an animal. Humans don't usually revert back to their hunting aggressive behavior I think." Blaze said, putting alcohol on my arm to stop the swelling on my arm.

"Well, I knew it came from a green glowing plant that has that toxic drug in it but the antidote is the pink one. That's why I panicked and told my teammates to find a rare pink flower and then I lost conscience." I said, groaning a little as Blaze puts a wrapped bandage on my arm.

I noticed the red blush on her cheeks that she's checking my shirtless upper body. Heh, what has that deity done to me and my teammates? I'll never know but at least I don't need to work out.

"Well, at least you told them quickly before the effect took over you. That was really a brave thing you did." Blaze said, handing me an apple to eat something.

"Thanks." I took a bite of the apple, "And I got great pictures of the bioluminescent jungle planet. You can check it out with Master Espio."

"Ok thanks." Blaze thanked me.

"So how long will the wound heal?" I asked.

"Just a couple of days." Blaze said.

"All right. But how will I know if it's really healed up completely?" I asked as I zipped up my upper body suit.

"The pain will go away. Just relax" Blaze said.

She noticed I still felt a bit down from attacking my team, "Silver you have to let it go. Dwelling into your sadness can turn you into your own worst enemy."

"I know but I can't help it that the madman shot me in the arm and I nearly attacked my teammates. I hate letting my teammates down." I said and she can see my ears drooping down.

"Oh, Silver." Blaze hugged me to comfort me.

"Thank you Blaze." I hugged her back.

(Sonic's POV)

I was doing hand to hand combat with Shadow to see how fast I am to dodge every punch or kick with my speed. Heh, Shadow is so not happy that he can't hit me due to how fast I am.

"Come on, Dark Grim! You're making my day way too easy!" I taunted him.

"You want me to go hardcore? Very well!" Shadow threw his fists at me.

But I caught them and did a judo throw, "You call that hardcore? That's a very clumsy punch."

"Just the beginning!" He got up and threw a hard punch at me, finally hitting me.

"Agh! Okay, but you can't beat my speed, doofus!" I rapidly punched him in the chest and gut.

He looked like he got beaten up too hard but he tries to fight the pain but it was very pointless when his body won't take the pain.

"Had enough?" I asked.

He obviously didn't answer when he collapsed on the floor, "You killed all my muscles in my body, including my ass."

I snickered at what he said out of pain, "Seems like I did, thank you very much."

"What the hell has your speed done to you this time?" He groaned and got up.

"Just my luck I guess." I said.

"Hmph. That was hardcore punching I'd say." Shadow said.

"Jealous?" I smirked.

"Yes, over your speed." He replied.

"Good." I patted his shoulder, "That's just what I need for a guy who shows no hesitation."

"Of course, Faker." He then said.

"Faker?" I asked.

"You and I look alike. Last night someone mistook me for you. He thought I was you." Shadow explained.

"But we are different colors." I said.

"We have the same masculine body, ears, and tails. What difference does that make? What are we? Rivals?" Shadow scoffed.

"Possibly that." I guessed.

"More like polar opposites." Shadow said, leaving the training area.

"Alright." I left the other way.

Eventually we all head to the cafeteria to sit together. Silver still the same when he eats food. It's like this dude is never gonna gain that much weight for a young man.

"Silver? When was the last time you ate?" Amy asked.

"I do eat but not so much." He replied to Amy.

"Tapeworm in your stomach?" Shadow gave a very dark humor.

"No." Silver was not amused.

"Come on, guys. Eating healthy means living, right?" I asked.

"Right of course." Silver had his sandwich.

"Do you think food keeps our powers charged up?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, think about Godzilla feeds on radiation, it keeps him charged." I said.

"That's just a movie, Sonic. Know the difference between reality and imagination." Shadow said.

Suddenly, my ears hear something in the city. Sounds like another invasion again, "You guys hear that?"

"Yes. Let's go" We got up and ran.

Shadow created a portal to the city and as we went through, we saw what looks like a strange Anubis masked person or thing making the citizens scared and anxious.

Around him was red cubes hovering, "Tremble before the might of Infinite!!!"

"Does anyone know this guy?" I asked my teammates.

"That must be Infinite, the leader of the Jackal Squad space terrorists." Amy said.

"And his illusion power makes anyone see its real physically and mentally." Silver said.

"Well, if it isn't Mobius heroes!" Infinite saw us.

"Seems like you have a sadistic way of introducing yourself to the city." I glared with no cocky attitude this time.

"You can say that again. And I've looked forward to face you heroes." Infinite said.

"Don't underestimate yourself, weirdo." Silver warned.

"You don't stand a chance against all of us!" Shadow said.

"Who said anything about me against you?" Infinite made illusion clones of us. They looked exactly like us but with slit pupils.

"You have got to be kidding me!" I groaned in frustration that I have to fight another doppelgänger again.

"Kill them all!" Infinite ordered our clones to attack.

I attacked my clone but there was no way I was gonna win because my clone is me and we are equally matched.

"You might know everything I'm gonna do but I know everything you're gonna do!" I said to my clone.

"One shall fall!" My clone then rams his fist at me but I dodged.

If he has my powers, he has my weaknesses. My biggest weakness is drowning, so I'll have to lead him somewhere where he's unable to swim.

"Wanna get fast? Let's get fast!" I said to my clone and ran super-fast to the alien forest.

He followed and we ran in blue trails after each other. No one has ever caught up to me before. If I can't fight him then I can blind him. I ran around my clone making a tornado made from the dust from the ground.

"Have a nice swim!" I pushed him in the river.

"Hey what the?!" He splashed in the water.

"Gotcha!" I chuckled.

What I saw was like he glitched like a program and just vanished.

"The hell? Okay? Maybe I won I guess" I shrugged and sped off to find my teammates.

(Shadow's POV)

"Come and get me!" I saw my clone charge at me.

He has my powers and skills and we are evenly matched. There's no way I can win this fight but I can outsmart him because this clone looks like he has no soul.

"You die first Shadow, so you can join your beloved people!" He then appeared through a portal above me.

I was beyond pissed that my clone has my fears and how dare he thinks I would be happy in heaven with Maria when my time is not up, "No! My time is not up yet!"

I tackled him down and we fell in my portal where it leads back to Crisis City planet. See if Hell suits my evil soulless clone. Then he grabbed me by the throat and threw me.

"Shit!" I quickly teleported myself before I almost touched the lava.

"Come out Shadow! Face me!" My clone called out.

"Maria once told me that people who have deadly sins within will get condemned to Hell!" I said.

"Hahaha! Do you really think you can kill me, hero?" My clone tackled me near the rusty car. Man, he's using my strength against me.

"Not if I can help it!" I struggled against his grip.

Suddenly a lava creature grabbed my clone which made him release me.

"LET GO OF ME!!" My clone got dragged down into the lava by that creature.

"Ooh, that's gotta be the worse way to die. Just like getting dragged down to Hell." I said and created a portal to get back to Planet 91.
