HEAVEN - BUILDING THREE

Word was, an angel had gone missing and slipped under the archangel's radar. Every floor, every room, every angel was talking about it. Those who were tasked with finding this angel were scrambling about like chickens without a head. No one knew why this angel was so important. They could've just marked them with a FALLEN on their status and moved on with their angelic lives.

But this angel was no ordinary angel. This angel had supposedly worked on the fifth floor before being demoted to the third floor. This angel had known about 'The Plan'. And the fact that this angel had slipped under their radar, had the Archangels furious.

On the eighth floor, only two Archangels met up. If their other brothers knew about this they would no doubt take them out.

That was not an option.

The Archangels Gabriel and Michael were waiting for someone. They were waiting for the new Archangel to arrive.

This Archangel was created for the sole purpose of replacing Diane. This Archangel was one of the reasons why Diane had been demoted.

"Archon."

The angel greeted the other two.

"Brothers."

"The angel Diane," Gabriel said. "We cannot find them."

"Diane was always too curious about the mortal world," Michael said, shaking his head.

"Brothers, do not fret," Archon said. "We will find this angel. No matter the cost."

"What if," Gabriel paused. "What if they, remember?"

Archon laughed.

"Diane will not."

"How do you know?" Michael said, furrowing his eyebrows.

Archon smiled. It was not a warm smile nor did it have mischief layered underneath. It was a smile that had bad intentions. Simple as that.

"Because I do."

Michael didn't say anything, neither did Gabriel. Michael knew Gabriel wouldn't say anything and neither would he, but the Archangel had a bad feeling about Archon.

KASHYYYK

"That doesn't look good."

Cal looked below from his seat at the mess in front of them.

"The Empire is devouring Kashyyyk for its natural resources. Wookiees have been enslaved or displaced."

Diane glanced over at Cere and frowned. She'd started to feel something stirring within her.

Conflict.

The Mantis kept moving forward but it jolted to the side as two aircraft flew past them.

"That was a close one, kid! Aren't you supposed to be watching the monitors?" Greez scolded Cal.

"Guerrilla fighters! Wookiees and off-worlders ambushing an Imperial convoy."

"Walkers approaching their position!"

"Tarfful could be with them," Diane said, feeling like she should contribute.

"Tarfful could be anywhere! Like deep in the ground, like we're gonna be if we get caught up in that battle down there!" Greez exclaimed.

"We don't have any other options, and...and they'll die without our help."

Greez and Cere shared a look, while Diane glanced between the three.

"So what's your plan?" Cere asked.

Diane watched as an idea formed in his head.

"Sabotage." He stood up from his seat.

"We used to scrap walkers on Bracca. I'll just jack one."

Diane stood up and looked at him in disbelief. She couldn't believe that a mortal, like himself, could be so dangerously stupid and cocky without knowing the possibilities of what could happen to him.

"Ha! Get a load of the kid. He thinks we're back in the Clone Wars!" Greez yelled.

"Captain, get us near those walkers," Cere said.

Greez's amused smile dropped from his face. "Wait, what?"

As Cere cautioned Cal, Diane made a choice.

"Cal," Diane said.

A lopsided smirk appeared on his face as he recognized the worried look on her face.

"Don't worry angel, I'll be fine."

"I'm not," she told him.

The smirk disappeared from his face.

"Because I'm coming with you."

Amusement danced in his eyes as she walked past him and grabbed the droid from his shoulder.

"Ready for a ride BD?" she asked.

The droid chirped as they jumped off the end of the extended ramp from the ship. A smile crept on his face and he laughed, before catching up with them letting out a "WOOOO-HOO!"

As he hit the water, Cal felt something grab him and before he knew it, he was on top of a walker. BD crawled from Diane's shoulder to his.

"Hey, you didn't throw up this time," she said.

Cal tilted his head as he saw the angel fight a smile. He turned half expecting a Stormtrooper to be around but the pile of salt by the open hatch told him everything he needed to know.

"After you," she said, extending her arm out.

Cal dramatically placed a hand over his heart.

"How kind of you, angel. I'm touched."

Her face dropped.

"Just get in the walker."

Cal chuckled and gave her a two-finger salute.

"Yes ma'am."

The redhead jumped inside and when he landed, she was already there waiting for him. The trio made their way through until they arrived in the front where the controls were. Together, they took out every Trooper that stood in their way.

Cal sat at the seat on the left which Diane assumed was the 'pilot's seat' whilst she sat on the one on the right. BD jumped in front of her and began messing with the control panel.

"Can't believe that actually worked," Cal said.

"I do," Diane said.

As the walker shook alive, Cal laughed and looked at the angel beside him.

"Let's do this!"

"Yes," she said, awkwardly. "Let's."

He shook his head as he moved the control lever forward. Another walker appeared in front of them and Diane felt their walker shake even more when Cal found out the trigger for the blasters.

On accident, Diane pressed a button that fired cannons at the walker in front of them causing it to blow up on impact.

"Booo!" Was the noise BD-1 made as they watched it explode.

"You said it!"

"I didn't know..." Diane stared at the button.

"Well at least we got it out of our way," he told her.

As they moved forward, Cal started taking out Stormtroopers that were on the ground and a knowing feeling crept up Diane. Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of Cal and the man was obviously hanging on for dear life as he looked inside to see who was sitting behind the trigger. He tapped on the plastic window.

"Hey! Who are you, people?!"

"People who just brought an AT-AT to the table. Who are you?"

"Someone making the Empire real angry. We're advancing on an Imp landing pad up ahead, wouldn't mind fire support."

Cal glanced at Diane with a mischievous smile. "We're on it."
