Prologue

"Either war must become obsolete, or humanity. We can't allow greed to become superior to harmony any longer.

For decades, our ancestors at COEXIST have worked in harmony to ensure no wars endanger the fragile world peace, and I'm glad that together, we've successfully averted another brewing conflict between US and Russia that could've escalated to a third world war.

As leaders of this global government, it's our primary responsibility to ensure our people sleep terror-free at night and wake up feeling safe every morning.

As long as Earth produces peacemakers like us, no warmongers can ever disrupt our solidarity. Humanity isn't dead, my friends, and together we all will work to ensure that Earth becomes a better place for generations to come."

The live telecast of news from Earth is paused and a deep, powerful voice booms in a large, majestic hall; every note fuelled with undertones of disbelief and amusement, "Hilarious! She thinks that she'll make that filthy blue ball breeding racism, crime and pollution a better place?"

An authoritative, mystic aura emanates from the owner of the voice, as he leisurely examines the translucent projection of Earth's news channel on the life-sized sheet panel in front of the majestic golden throne he gracefully sits on. He minimizes the news window with a flick of his hand and clicks a few translucent controls at the side of the panel to pull out a contact list and connect a video call.

"What is the status from Earth?", he asks the commander of his army as soon as the serious, dark face pops up on the translucent panel sheet, thick eyebrows furrowed in concentration and head bowed in subservience. A long gash on commander's forehead is his latest medal from the last intergalactic tussle and he wears the scar with unmistakable pride.

"The population on Earth is currently rising at 120 million per annum, crime rate has increased by 85% since last month, 1 million violent encounters resulting in murders or rapes in this week, natural potable water availability down by another 20%, and oxygen levels down by 12% despite the free synthetic oxygen plants in 15 major cities launched by that new COEXIST leader two weeks ago. I can send you a detailed report in half an hour on other aspects, your Majesty."

He dismisses commander's suggestion with a careless wave of his gloved hand and sighs heavily.

"So, they exhibit no hope of improvement then? We have been waiting for them to mend their ways for decades now, but they just keep altering same old policies that produce no new impactful results. Either they are selfish fools that don't realize they're digging up their own graves, or they don't give a damn to the consequences of their cruel ways. Somebody needs to teach them a lesson, we have left them to Goddess Fates long enough."

"There's actually another update, your Majesty. They are launching a new expedition to Pluto this week again."

"Another one? That's enough! They don't know how to take care of their own planet and yet they keep trying to meddle in affairs of another. We've thwarted enough of their stupid missions to keep them away from soiling other planets with their greedy paws. This needs to end, commander. Prepare a large shuttle. We have that peacemaker and other selfish worms of COEXIST to take care of. We'll leave at dawn tomorrow."

The commander bows his head in respect, "Of course, your Majesty. I'll get the SpaceWalker ready. Any other instructions?"

"Yes, make sure to stock SpaceWalker with sufficient food and oxygen for at least two hundred, commander. We'll bring them in alive."

Commander's thick brows raise in surprise at his Majesty's words.

In the past, whenever they visited Earth to deal with troublesome worms, it was done discreetly; they never brought anyone along alive. This new turn of events is surprising to him, but he is no one to doubt his Majesty's decisions.

"Sure, your Majesty. We'll be ready to depart at dawn."

The call is disconnected to display the paused projection of the news telecast on the panel.

He observes with great interest, as the curvy, caramel human beauty stands confidently at the COEXIST headquarters podium - her dark brown hair tied in a no-nonsense ponytail reaching her waist, and her determined, obsidian eyes staring directly at the audience as she makes tall, baseless claims. Something about this human leader calls out as a challenge to him and he's ready to face it head on.

"These clever human politicians and their deceitful speeches! It'll be so entertaining to expose her concealed immoral intentions to her equally heartless species, and ultimately prove just how sly and conniving this so-called peacemaker and her species is."

His lips twitch with undisguised mirth at the prospect of her fate at his hands, "Humanity isn't dead yet, as you said clearly peacemaker, but I'll ensure that you watch helplessly when it crumbles to the specks of universal dust it originated from. The future will remember this stroke of justice - as your selfish, deceitful species finally meets its well-deserved, inevitable doom."

He smirks at the thought. "Albatross Vrokzad King is coming to Earth, peacemaker. Oh, this will be so much fun!"
