8. things that happen on the roof
Cancer's POV
"What the fuck," Taurus exclaims after I snatch the bag from his head. I immediately catch his dilated pupils.
"You look high as a kite," I mumble, stuffing the bag in my back pocket.
"Where are you taking me?" Taurus asks a bit confused. He looks up at me like a little kid.
"To the roof," I instruct. I look at my wrist to check what time it was. Leo should be up here soon.
"Why are you taking me?" He asks, still looking up at me.
"Leo's plan. Revenge, remember?" I tell him.
Taurus drops his head down and giggles a bit. "Revenge again? Ohhh, Leo. Sneaky motherfucker," he snickers, shaking his head.
I ignored what he said. This man sounded pretty high to me. Once the elevator stops, we were to the top floor. I kick Taurus, indicating for him to get up and walk. He obliges in doing so.
"So what kind of revenge is this? You're gonna make me jump off the roof? Go splat on the street?" Taurus questions.
"If I wanted you to jump off the roof, I'd gladly kick you off. But no. You're still Leo's best friend, and I'm sure she doesn't want you to go splat on the street," I mock his choice of words. Taurus nods his head in agreement.
"I could leave anytime I want, y'know?" Taurus exclaims, still walking forward like he was instructed.
"You also could've murdered me once I put the bag over your head, but your dilated pupils say otherwise," I taunt. "Walk left," I order. And he did.
Taurus and I walk upstairs to the roof. The roof of the penthouse was large and flat. The scenery of the sky was gorgeous. The sun was ready to set any minute now. The wind was warm and light. Taurus stands over the edge.
He then turns around with a smile on his face while looking at me. "Hey," he says in a low tone. I arch my brow at his welcome. "What if I just fell?"
He then was ready to lean backwards, causing me to panic.
"No!" I shout, grabbing his arm and pulling him to the surface with all of my strength.
Taurus just starts laughing. "You thought I was actually going to fall?"
My face morph into horror. "What the hell is wrong with you? You could've slipped and killed yourself!"
Taurus just continues laughing. I shake my head at him. It was the drug. It had to be. But the man thought that he was just so funny. It made me want to push him off the roof myself this time.
"Relax, I wasn't going to fall," he shrugs, still snickering.
"Yeah, try that again, and let me know when you've met your new friend, gravity," I roll my eyes.
"Why is Leo punishing me again?" Taurus asks, switching the subject.
I shrug my shoulders. "Maybe it just makes her feel better."
Taurus then looks at me. "Then Leo's a fucking psychopath."
I chuckle. "You can say that again."
"Leo's a fucking psychopath," he repeats, staring at the sky. His dilated pupils seemed as though they were in a trance.
Suddenly, the door to the roof barges open. It revealed Leo.
"About time," I roll my eyes, kicking Taurus over to her.
"Cancer! You were supposed to kidnap Libra! Not Taurus!" Leo immediately rushes over to Taurus, grabbing his face and moving it to check for any scars.
Oh shit. She did say Libra, didn't she?
"Oops," I shrug my shoulders nonchalantly. "At least we know I can kidnap Taurus while he's intoxicated."
Taurus gives me a mean look. "Haha. You just caught me by surprise."
"Exactly," I agree. My point was still proven, right?
"C'mon, Taur. Ugh! Now I have to figure out a new plan to get Libra back!" Leo grabs Taurus' arm and drags him towards the exit.
Before the door could open, Aries barges in, surprised to see the rest of us. He chuckles a bit. "You three having a threesome up here? Can I join?"
"Gross," Leo rolls her eyes and pushes Aries out the way. Leo and Taurus leave with Taurus high fiving Aries as he walks through the door.
Aries then looks at me. I immediately roll my eyes. "What do you want?"
"Not you. To be fair, if an orgy were supposed to happen, I'd rather want Leo instead of you," he says harshly.
"Lucky her," I say sarcastically, not really giving a fuck.
"Hey, what's your problem?" Aries asks me.
"You're my problem," I roll my eyes. "In fact, you're nearly everyone's problem. So if anything, I should be asking you that."
Aries didn't say anything. Instead, he walks past me to see the view better while sitting down. He then pulls out a bag with some green in it and a lighter and some papers.
"You wanna smoke?" the red head asks me, holding his lighter up.
"With you? Hell no. For all I know, you might push me off the roof," I joke. Though, it wasn't much of a joke.
Aries looks back at me now. "You really think that I'm that destructive?" he asks.
"My opinion matters to you?" I ask, crossing my arms.
Aries rolls his eyes before grinding his weed. "I'm the destructive one, but when I try to talk to you like a normal human being, you still act like a bitch."
My brows furrowed as I walk beside him now. "Human being? Just two minutes ago you thought Leo and I were some kind of sex doll. You have an odd definition of human being."
Aries already had his weed rolled and lit the joint before inhaling the smoke. He exhales now. "You're still a bitch."
"And you're a dick," I spit.
Aries smokes again. "Yeah, I know. That's expected from me though."
"It doesn't have to, y'know? Do us all a favor and prove us wrong for once," I suggest with a scoff.
Aries didn't say anything now. He continues smoking his joint while looking out in the distance.
Now, I couldn't help myself. "Give it," I exclaim, putting my hand out. Aries looks up at me then smirks. He then hands me the joint.
I sit a few inches away from him before inhaling the smoke myself. 5 minutes with Aries, and this is exactly what I needed. I hand the joint back to the red head.
Aries inhales smoke once more before speaking. "I'm guessing Scorpio told you what happened," he speaks.
"Yeah. Although, I'm sure it's not just your fault. You both are very...immature."
Aries hands the joint back to me as I smoke. "Well, I think it's all Scorpio's fault. You think I'm the dick? Try hanging with Scorpio for the whole day knowing he fucking hates you."
I scoff. "You literally are describing Sagittarius with me. And to be fair, it's not just Scorpio's fault. Even with me and Sagittarius. It's not just her fault. I have fault in our clashes too."
Aries looks at me. "You can admit when you're at fault?"
"Of course I can. It's how mature people view things. It takes two to fight. Even though she pisses me the hell off, it's still my fault for little comments too. Unlike Sagittarius herself, I can admit that," I admit, handing the joint back to Aries.
Aries nods his head. "So how do you put up with her?"
I shrug my shoulders. "I don't. If anything, I would literally strangle her if it weren't for the team. I just have to control myself and distance myself from her. Peace can't be bothered without a reaction."
Aries chuckles now. "Well, arent you wise."
"Wisdom isn't it. It's more like growing the hell up and not to let people bother you so easily. If it were wisdom, Sagittarius and I wouldn't have any problems. I just learn how to keep my snarky comments to myself and pretend as if she doesn't exist," I tell him.
"But she does exist."
"Not in my world, she doesn't," I chuckle. Aries chuckles with me.
"So you think that I should make up with Scorpio? I don't know if you noticed, but Aquarius is probably my only real friend here. Without being with Scorpio, I can barely hang with Aquarius now," he speaks.
"Trust me, I noticed." Aries rolls his eyes and snickers before inhaling more smoke. "You don't have to make up with Scorpio. You two clearly don't get along, and it's not going to get any better if you force a friendship. Aquarius on the other hand, I'd say to ask him to spend more time with you if you miss him," I suggest.
Aries scoffs. "I don't miss him. Plus, I shouldn't have to ask a friend to stay by my side. You may think I'm an asshole, Cancer, but I'd never leave Aquarius' side. That's not the kind of friend that I am."
His comment shocks me. It wasn't like Aries to care about anyone else except himself. Though he didn't want to admit he cares about his friend, I know that he does believe that he would always be a great friend to him.
"Well, for one," I start, "you need to get your shit together. You think being an asshole is so expected of you, but don't you realize that's also why no one wants to be around you? You're gonna end up lonely and miserable."
Aries sighs before passing the joint back to me. "Yeah, you're right."
"What was that?" I ask teasingly.
Aries gives me a mean look. "Shut up, Cancer."
I giggle to myself, from his comment and also from the high. Aries didn't laugh though. He just looks into the distance with a serious look on his face.
"So if I were to be nicer, everyone would like me better?" he asks. "Cause I think that's bullshit. You're a bitch and everyone likes you. Maybe it's only cool when girls do it."
I laugh at the last comment. "C'mon, I'm not that much of a bitch."
Aries raises his eyebrows in disbelief. "Right."
I nudge his shoulder now. "What? I'm not."
Aries laughs now. "Mhm, sure, Cancer."
"Ask anyone here," I tell him, taking the joint from his fingers. I inhale the smoke from the joint a couple of times, letting the smoke invade my lungs.
"Well, we already came to an agreement. The number one bitch here is Virgo. I'd say you come 3rd place. Second is definitely Leo. 4th is Sagittarius. 5th is Capricorn, only because she's not too bad if you don't bother her. Last, of course, is Pisces," he ranks, taking the joint from my fingers now.
"You ranked me above Sagittarius? That seems a little biased," I cross my arms.
Aries shrugs his shoulders. "She's gotten chill since she came back. Still a bitch, but from my experiences, you definitely rank before her."
I roll my eyes in disbelief. "You act as if I hate you or something."
"Well, don't you?" Aries asks, looking out in the distance while exhaling smoke. He then flicks the joint which was now a roach off the roof.
"I wouldn't say 'hate.' But strongly dislike, yes."
Aries chuckles to himself. "That's only a nice way of saying you hate me."
"Okay, and what if I did?" I ask nonchalantly.
Aries shrugs his shoulders again. "Wouldn't phase me. You and 100 other people in the world. And I'm talking about the minimum."
"I'm not the slightest surprised that you made nearly everyone into your enemy," I snicker.
"What can I say?" Aries smirks while looking at me with red eyes. "I'm an easy person to—how'd you say it? Oh yeah! Strongly dislike."
"And that doesn't bother you? At all?" I ask in all seriousness.
Aries shakes his head. "After a while, it takes some getting used to. End up not giving a fuck who likes you or not. I mean, we're all gonna die soon. Why the hell should I care what you or anybody else thinks of me?"
"But you care what Aquarius thinks of you," I exclaim.
Aries scoffs. "Who said that? I mean, Aquarius is my only friend. Sure, I can talk with Libra and that dumbass Gemini, but Aquarius is different from them. He's annoying like them, but not so much."
"It isn't because Aquarius can put up with your shit?" I ask seriously.
Aries clicks his tounge before speaking. "Aquarius...doesn't put up with my shit. At all, in fact. I guess it's just different because he won't tolerate it, but he also won't hate me for it."
"You think Aquarius is the only one who doesn't hate you?" I ask him. I was starting to get interested in the conversation now.
"Exactly. Like I said, Cancer, you may think I'm an asshole, but I'm a great ass friend to Aquarius just how he is to me. I may be a dick, but I'm not an idiot."
I nod my head in understanding. No one really knows what it's like to have Aries as a true friend except for Aquarius I've realized. Aries was definitely a hot head, and it was true. A lot of people strongly dislike him for it.
Aquarius was more rational and chill. He wasn't one to tolerate any behavior, but he never showed much emotion as to care about anything. I could never see Aquarius genuinely hating someone. Or even loving someone. He just never cares that much to do so. He never lived off emotions. Just reason.
"The longer you keep being an asshole, you might lose your one friend. Who knows, maybe one day, he'll be so tired of your shit and pop off. Then you'll be alone," I announce in realization.
Aries scoffs again. "I don't care about being alone, Cancer. If you haven't noticed, I came up here to smoke alone. People like you just always seem to get in the way."
Excuse me?
"People like me?"
"Yeah, y'know. The naggers. You, Virgo, Scorpio, and Orion. Even when I breathe you'd find a way to make me want to be an asshole," he admits.
"So you're saying the way how we react to your very existence causes you to respond by being a dick to us?" I ask flabbergasted.
"Now you're getting it," Aries congratulates sarcastically.
"It's not my fault you make it so easy to hate," I spit.
"So you admit you hate me?"
"What the hell do you care?"
"I don't. Trust me, princess, you're only one of the 100 that does. I couldn't give a fuck even if we were the only two on the planet with nothing but a grain of fucking rice," Aries spits.
I scoff and roll my eyes. "See? Comments like that makes yourself an easy target to not give a fuck about."
"Like I said, who cares?"
"Do you not even want to be a better person? If you were nicer and maybe just a bit more considerate, maybe people will actually like you," I seethe.
"Oh, of course that's what this is about! A fucking title? Cancer, you always want people to like you, but y'know what? You're just as bad as I am."
I gasp at his words.
Aries nods his head. "Yep. I said it. You think you're so sweet and innocent and never do anything wrong. You have your shit together, right? At least when I'm an asshole, I can admit to it. I don't just put on a fucking facade for everyone to like me because I'm not a fake little bitch. You think I'm the one who's fucked up? Take a long look in the mirror, princess, because you're just as bad as I am. I may be a fucking asshole, but I'm not even half as insecure as you are," he finishes.
I take all of his words in. Aries was impulsive, I knew that. But just because he was impulsive, didn't mean he didn't mean what he says. If anything, his impulse speaks straight from his mouth rather than thinking first. He was saying exactly what he thought and meant it. He always means what he says, harsh or not.
With fury, I clench my teeth together and slap the redhead across the face with all my strength. An impulse.
Aries touches his now red cheek and even smirks. He then looks at me. "Just as bad as me," he scoffs.
My blood began to boil more now. I immediately stand up and dart straight towards the door to leave. I don't know why I stayed in the first place. What the hell was I expecting? I knew being with Aries regardless was going to make me act out.
Aries said everything what he thought was true. But I could only agree with one thing.
I do hate him.

Virgo's POV
"You're letting Libra take you out tonight?" I ask with a laugh. "Yeah, have fun with that."
"V, we're just going up to the roof later tonight," Capricorn tells me. "Also, it's not a date."
"I didn't say it was a date," I smirk at her while walking towards the refrigerator for some red wine.
"Just in case you we're going to!" Capricorn catches her words.
I grab the almost empty bottle of red wine. "Wasn't going to," I exclaim, popping the corkscrew off and partake the rest of the wine.
"I don't know what to do, V. I feel like an idiot," Capricorn groans.
I set the empty bottle on the counter now. "Simple. Just tell blondie that you don't like him and that you're not ready for a relationship. He probably won't understand, but the faster you break his heart, the faster he'll leave you alone."
Capricorn groans again. "But, V! What if I give him a chance this time? I mean, all those other times, I was just pushing him away. And Libra is, like, y'know...sweet."
I fake gag. Capricorn lightly punches my arm while giving me the look.
"All I'm saying is, that I agree. If anything, Libra is probably the most dateable man here. But Cap! He works with us. What if you two break up one day and you won't even be able to help each other on missions? This could ruin the team," I acknowledge.
"What's the harm, Virgo? It's just one night anyway."
"One night will turn into two nights. Two nights will turn into ten. And ten will turn into a year. Even if you weren't to break up with Libra, how will you be able to focus? You'll be so geeked over blondie while we need your help to dismantle a bomb or something," I exclaim.
"Luckily we have Pisces," Capricorn announces. I give her a mean look. "I'm kidding!"
"It wouldn't be so funny if our bomb professionals were out of reach and we blow up into little pieces," I point out. "You'll need to stay focused."
"I will stay focused, V!"
"Wrong! You say that now, but when you like someone, all your focus goes onto them. You start wondering how they're doing, if they ate. Little stuff like that," I inform her.
Capricorn rolls her eyes. "Just because you couldn't focus well with Draco, doesn't mean that I won't."
My head whips over to her direction now. "This is not about Draco!"
"Then who else could it be about?" Capricorn presses.
I clench my teeth, trying to find the right words to say. Draco was a gang leader of the Dragons. In fact, his and my team were allies years ago. He obviously had a liking for me. He was sweet and gentle and patient. Except certain times when he didn't have to be which quite frankly turned me on.
Okay, so I slept with a gang leader? Big fucking deal. And so what if I liked him? We both went our separate ways, so none of this even matters.
"This is not about me, Capricorn!" I spit. "It's about you and Libra. You can't be getting distracted. Especially now? Now is definitely not the time to be distracted. We are closer to war with the Elites than we ever have been before!"
Capricorn sighs and nods in agreement. "I guess," was all she said.
I could see the look on her face. She looks a bit disappointed and a little bored. I couldn't help myself but to sigh.
"Fine! I'll support it. You can do whatever you want, you're a grown ass woman. I'm just asking and trusting you to make a smart decision. That's all I'm worried about," I give in.
"So do you think it's a good idea? To give Libra a chance?" she asks me.
"Personally, no, I don't. But I'll support you and your decision either way. You're my best friend. I just don't want any risk of heartbreak or the team collapsing," I explain.
Capricorn smirks at me. "Thanks, V. I know you're just playing devil's advocate."
"I will 'til the end," I admit.
"Trust me, we know," Capricorn laughs. "I think I'm going to give him a chance. I mean, he's annoying, but he's sweet. And who knows, we might actually have certain things in common. He could surprise me."
I shrug my shoulders. "Yeah, I guess," I exclaim. "But go have fun. And remember, make smart choices! Please!"
Capricorn winks at me. "Of course! Later!" she exits to go find Libra.
I smile to myself seeing how excited she looks. I mean, she didn't look too excited, but for Capricorn, that was some excitement there.
"She's finally giving him a chance?" a male voice from behind me announces. I turn around to see that it's Gemini.
"I guess. And I bet you're happy for Libra too, huh?" I cross my arms with a smirk.
"Happy isn't the word. More like elated! It was my plan to begin with," he shrugs as if he were so humble.
"What?" I ask.
Pisces then comes from behind Gemini. "He means my idea."
Gemini rolls his eyes at the short female. "Aren't you the humble one," he sarcastically mocks.
"While you were out getting a nose job, I was the one who pushed Libra to talking to Capricorn!" Pisces defends.
"I made a sacrifice! I deserve credit too!" Gemini orders.
I close my eyes in agony over the two going back and forth. "Wait, wait! I am so confused."
"I'm Libra's wingman," Gemini boasts with a smirk on his face.
"I'm his wingwoman!" Pisces then adds, causing Gemini to roll his eyes.
I take a minute to comprehend what they were telling me. "So you two are Libra's...wing...persons?" I ask slowly.
Gemini lets out a breath. "I guess. But I'm more important!"
Pisces then rolls her eyes, not bothering to go back and forth with Gemini again. "We're gonna need you to step out of the way from Capricorn so that she can spend more time with Libra," she announces.
I raise a brow at her. "You? Telling me what to do? Yeah, think again."
"C'mon, this can be very good for Libra. And for us," she continues.
"What do you mean it can be good for you guys?" I ask her.
Pisces looks at Gemini now. "Gemini, can you leave for a second?" she asks nicely.
"No," he answers quickly.
Pisces instantly raises a fist at him, causing him to flinch. "Okay, okay, fine! Damn!" Gemini groans before walking away from us.
Now Pisces walks closer towards me to keep her voice a little more low and subtle. "Personally, I feel like Libra and Capricorn can work. Everyone else, not so much. Either way, since nobody else can tell Libra that Capricorn simply isn't interested, Capricorn is just gonna have to rip the bandaid off of him herself. I don't know if you noticed, but he seems to kind of annoy everyone with his little crush on Seagoat."
I chuckle. "Trust me, I noticed."
"We all noticed," Gemini chimes in. Pisces looks at Gemini who was supposed to be long gone from us by now. Gemini raises his hands up in surrender before taking off again.
"As I was saying," the blue haired woman continues, "it's a win win. If Capricorn likes Libra, they could most definitely hit it off. They most definitely have the potential. And if Capricorn doesn't like Libra, she can simply tell him herself and Libra can get over it. Either way, Libra can get out of his crush phase. Meaning slightly less annoyance from him."
I nod my head in understanding. Pisces was always a little...what's the word? Not slow. Not dumb. Oh, I got it! Dense!
Pisces can be a little dense, but that's only because she doesn't really give a fuck about many things to even care to learn. But Pisces was very street smart. She can easily read people like a book by their actions or words. That's what made her very great on this team.
"Okay, that makes sense," I respond.
"It was my idea!" Gemini chimes in again.
Pisces looks frustrated now with clenched fists. "Gemini! What is it going to take for you to go away?" she seethes.
"You're gonna have to kill me for that," Gemini jokes.
Pisces cracks her knuckles and her frown instantly turns into a devilish smirk. Gemini instantly regretted his statement.
"I was joking!" he cries.
"Would you wanna say that joke with no teeth this time?" Pisces asks, raising a brow at the tall man.
"I'd like my teeth. Please and thank you," Gemini carefully answers, now looking at the floor.
Pisces just lightly punches his shoulder and chuckles a bit before walking off. Gemini then sighs when she leaves.
I laugh at him. "Poor Gemini," I laugh. "Scared of wittle ol' Pisces," I mock in a baby voice.
"Well, duh! Everyone knows she's a little...y'know...psychotic," Gemini whispers the last word.
Which was true. Pisces was a very sweet person, but boy, does she has an edge. Everyone is usually nice to her because of that reason. It's hella badass, but terrifying at the same time. Only Gemini knew how to work people's nerves the most.
"Maybe you shouldn't annoy her," I shrug.
"Me? Annoying? She's the annoying one! Taking all my ideas just because she's the 'wingwoman'. Pssh! She can kiss my ass for all I care," Gemini crosses his arms.
"She's right behind you," I point behind Gemini.
That made him flinch and immediately jump to look behind him. Nobody was behind him. I howl a huge laughter.
Gemini gives me a mean look. "Y'know what? Fuck you, Virgo," he flicks me off while staring daggers at me.
I just couldn't help to laugh. Gemini was hella terrified of Pisces, and I couldn't blame him. It's just funny whenever it happens to him!
"Yo, Virgo," a feminine voice calls behind me. I turn around and see Sagittarius. Of course, high as fuck.
"What's up?" I ask the raven haired woman.
"I need a favor," she announces.
I sigh. "No, I'm not stealing Aries' stash from his room," I answer while rolling my eyes.
Sagittarius rolls her eyes at me. "No, not that. It's about The Dragons," she replies.
Now, I was amused. "The Dragons? What about them?"
"Do you have any information about Draco?"
●○●
Sagittarius and I were in my room now. I hand her my laptop which was now unlocked. Sagittarius didn't hesitate to take it and start opening up some files.
I cross my arms as she started opening files. "So what do you need information about Draco?" I ask. I could feel my palms get really sweaty.
Sagittarius just starts typing away on my laptop. "Uhhh, the mission," she says while scratching her head. "The mission. About Lupus. All those pictures she had, she had a few drawings of dragons."
I sit on my bed as she sat at my desk, looking through some more files. "And you think that has something to do with The Dragons? As in The Dragons?" I ask.
"There you go. You're finally catching on," she sarcastically answers, eyes never leaving the screen.
I roll my eyes at her sarcasm. "Sag, that could just be a coincidence. I don't think the Elites, let alone Lupus, even knows The Dragons."
Sagittarius then shows me the screen to reveal a picture of Draco from years ago. She raises a brow at me.
"What?" I ask, not getting it at all.
Sagittarius then sighs before pulling up her phone. She shows me a picture of Lupus' drawing. Then she points to Draco's neck tattoo. "A coincidence, right?" she says.
The drawing looked exactly like Draco's tattoo. I was nearly in shock now. "Okay..." I said slowly. Maybe the drug addict was starting to make some sense.
"Mhm," Sagittarius hums. "Seems like once upon a time ago, Lupus and Draco knew each other." She then had a smirk on her face.
"You mean, like...knew...each other?" I ask slowly.
Sagittarius nods her head.
I shake my head. "No, most definitely not. Draco only had eyes for me at the time."
"I'm confused, is he like your ex, or what?"
"No, just some fling," I answer quickly. "We swore to never become a...thing."
Sagittarius then slowly nods her head at me. "Mhm. Right. Anyways!"
"What? I'm serious!" I respond quickly.
Sagittarius just chuckles. "Bro, I'm not even stressing it. I don't even care."
Oh. Okay, then good.
"What I do care about is killing those Elites. And knowing that Lupus and Draco knew each other, just gets us one step closer to crushing those fuckers," she answers with a devilish smirk while clenching her fist.
"So what do the other pictures mean?" I ask.
Sagittarius shrugs her shoulders. "No idea. But we can figure that out later. Right now, we have to see how we can get more information on Draco. He could be a spy too for all we know."
I shake my head. "Impossible. Draco wouldn't spy on us. He's more of an ally than an enemy."
Sagittarius shakes her head. "Can't trust no one."
"I'm serious, Sagittarius. Draco wouldn't spy on us! He's not a traitor," I try to convince her.
"Virgo," she says my name sternly while whipping her head to look at me. "You said Draco is not your ex. He's just a stupid fling. Aquarius fucked Lupus just to get information from her. You really think that Draco wouldn't do that to you?"
Her words were slicing through my bones and it was cold. Usually she doesn't realize whenever she says anything harsh. It just slips right from her whenever she tells the brutal honest trust.
I just sigh and bite my bottom lip. I didn't want to, but a part of me was starting to believe her. Maybe Draco is a traitor. Maybe he just wanted information from us.
"Now, c'mon. I'm gonna celebrate with three blunts and some vodka. You coming?" Sagittarius asks, closing my laptop and standing up.
I don't know how her immune system hasn't died on her yet.
"Don't you want to tell Aquarius what we found?" I ask.
Sagittarius shakes her head. "Nah, not now. I'll look into more before we tell the whole group. So don't tell anyone yet. I don't want anybody trying to track Draco on their own. We still need more information."
I nod my head in understanding.
"Well, I'm out. Nice doing business with you, fake blondie," Sagittarius signs a peace sign before leaving my room.
I simply roll my eyes at the nickname before laying flat on my bed. I was thinking over what Sagittarius just said.
It's no coincidence that Lupus had the exact same picture of Draco's dragon tattoo. There's so many possibilities. Draco and Lupus knew each other and he was spying on us. Maybe Lupus is the one spying on The Dragons. Or maybe she's Draco's tattoo artist.
I think that last option made me feel a bit at ease than the other.
So many possibilities.

Libra's POV
Tonight is the night! Yep. That's right. Tonight is the night I finally show Capricorn how great of a man I can be to her.
When she actually said yes, I swear my heart was falling straight out my ass. I definitely owe Pisces on this one.
I was already on top of the roof and had two chairs set up. I had candles lit with blankets and food on top of it. Capricorn likes wine, so I brought two bottles of wine too. I even brought books. I was trying to read a few chapters of one of them, but I got too bored, so hopefully she doesn't ask me anything about the book.
I'm wearing a black and white suit, and Leo told me that I put on too much cologne. I kept sniffing myself and I smell like straight up alcohol and lemonade for whatever reason. I just hope the smell isn't too overwhelming for her.
I look at the clock on my phone and it's nearly 9PM now. I could feel my hands getting sweaty. I feel like I'm a fucking teenager. I'm never nervous and for some reason, I was so fucking nervous!
That's when the door opens. Capricorn reveals herself and I could see her dark brown hair pulled into a messy bun. She wore a red dress that really brought out her warm, melanin skin. By the way she was standing, I could tell she was a bit nervous too. She looked perfect.
"Wow," I say in awe.
Capricorn chuckles before walking up to me. "Wow, yourself," she grins. Goddamn, her smile is so fucking gorgeous.
The wind was definitely blowing, causing her hair to fall on her lips. "I didn't know what to do with my hair, as you can tell," she laughs.
"You're perfect," I impulsively say. I felt stupid saying that. Stupid, Libra. Stupid!
Capricorn then smiles before looking at the picnic which I definitely forgot why we were here. "You did all of this?" she asks, walking to one of the chairs.
I look at the work that I made. "Oh, uh, yeah! Yeah, I did. All by myself too. I hope you like it."
"It's great, Libra. Thank you," she smiles. Her smile always makes me forget where I am. "Ooh, and you got wine. Where's the glasses?"
My eyebrows furrow. "What glasses?"
Capricorn holds up the wine bottle by the neck. "The wine glasses?"
I wanted to slap myself now. How could I forget the glasses?
"Fuck," I mumble under my breath.
Capricorn just chuckles again. "It's fine. This just means one bottle for each of us," she pops the cork open before sipping the wine.
I sit beside her, still kind of nervous. Damn. I didn't think I'd get this far.
"I see you got the good stuff," Capricorn says, taking a good sip of her white wine.
I scratch the back of my head. "Oh, uh, yeah! Leo had some. Told her it was for an emergency."
"So you think that giving it to me was an emergency?" she asks, raising a brow at me teasingly.
I smirk. "Of course. My first date with the girl I first ever liked. Definitely an emergency," I flirt.
Big mistake. I can see Capricorn freeze up at what I said. I instantly felt stupid.
"I-I'm sorry, I don't know why I said that," I apologize. I just hope I didn't make her feel uncomfortable.
"No, it's not that. I just think it's sweet that you think this is an emergency. Nobody's ever done anything like this for me before. So thank you," Capricorn smiles.
Instantly, I felt better. I catch myself smiling back at her as she sips her wine again. She then looks at me and chuckles.
"Are you going to drink or just look at how pretty I am?" she asks, laughing.
"Who's to say I can't do both?" I smirk, popping my wine bottle open. Capricorn rolls her eyes and laughs again while I take a sip.
Jesus, she is gorgeous.
"I see you have books here too," she examines the books now.
"Oh, yeah. Definitely my top favorites," I lie. Reading was definitely not my thing.
"I didn't know you like to read," she looks at me now.
"Oh, yeah, of course. What else is there to do when Taurus, Gemini, and Leo are gone?" I chuckle.
"Since when are they ever gone?" Capricorn laughs.
I shrug. "Now, for example."
"Which is your favorite book?" she asks me.
Shit.
"Uhh, I don't know. I can't really choose. I've just read so many and like too many. How about you?" I ask, just trying for the conversation to go along.
"My favorite book would definitely be The Hate U Give. Do y'know that one?" she asks me.
I nod my head. "Definitely one of the best books!" I agree. Though, I've never watched the book, I have watched the movie with Taurus before.
"That book really speaks to me y'know? I mean, with being a bandit and whatever, it still means something to me. It's just sad how black people's biggest enemies are the police. The injustice is unfair," she shakes her head.
"I agree. Personally, I've never been a fan of the cops. It's funny how they're the ones who are supposed to protect, but are one of the leading causes to death of black people in this country," I exclaim.
I was always big on balance and fairness. So police brutality has always been a main topic to which I can go forever on about. It's sick and sad how people with these kinds of jobs have the right to shoot and kill innocent unarmed black people.
I look at Capricorn as she looks out in the stars. Her fate with policemen will never be the same as mine because of our different skin color. That fact made my blood boil. No one deserves to die over their race. It's just not fair.
"Enough about that," Capricorn says, obviously wanting to let go of the topic. "Do y'know if Aquarius has found anything yet?"
I shake my head. "Nope. In fact, he's really beating himself up over it. But I'm sure we'll figure it out."
Capricorn nods her head. "Yeah, I hope so."
"The quicker we get it done, the quicker we'll have less stress. I mean, think about it. Orion's a rich, grumpy old man. He'll definitely give us money and I've already planned on buying a place just as big as this but better. Also, I would have to fly Sagittarius out to Bahamas since I kind of promised that. I just get tired of all the fighting and the missions, y'know?"
"Yeah," Capricorn nods her head. "I was planning on leaving when all of this is over. Again."
"Really? Where to? New York really does have a lot of space up here to start a new life," I say.
"Well, actually, I was thinking somewhere in maybe California," she says.
My eyebrows furrow now. "California? I mean, that's cool and all, but that's all the way on the other side of the country. Do you not want to be near us anymore?"
"It's not that...Okay, maybe it's exactly that."
"What do you mean?" I ask confused.
"It's not you guys. It's just...when all of this is over...I want to feel like all of it's over. Meaning I want to cut ties with everyone. I don't need the Galactics' faces or names to be a reminder of anything."
"That means you're going to leave Virgo too," I exclaim.
Capricorn just looks down now. "Look, I love V. She's my best friend. But I'm sure she'll get it too. And who knows, maybe she feels the same. I do know that V is tired of everyone here anyway."
"Anyone but you. You don't think she'll be sad when you leave again? For good?" I ask.
"V will be fine," she tells me.
"Is that what you want to convince yourself or will she really?" I ask.
Capricorn didn't say anything now. I could hear my answer from the silence.
I definitely see where Capricorn is coming from, but I don't ever think that I could ever just leave Taurus, Gemini, and Leo. Especially from what we've been through. It's not even an option for me.
Capricorn is different though. She's not a runner, but she is extremely detached. Same with Virgo. I just thought their friendship meant something different rather than temporary.
"It'll be once all of this is over. All the war. All the fighting. V will understand," Capricorn tells me.
"It seems like you're viewing her as your coworker more than your friend," I exclaim.
"We're both."
"So when this is all over, who will be your friend?" I ask.
Again no answer.
"This is stupid. I shouldn't even had told you that," she instantly regrets.
"Then why did you?"
"I don't know! I just didn't think you'd make me feel like a bad person for saying that!"
"I'm not making you feel like a bad person. I'm simply asking questions and you're reflecting on your own actions. Everything you're feeling is because of what you know you're doing," I announce truthfully.
Capricorn rolls her eyes and stands up. "Y'know what, forget this. This date sucks."
Now I was confused and also stand up. "Capricorn, what? What did I do?"
"You planned a horrible fucking date, that's what," she seethes before leaving and slamming the door.
I look at the door now, confused of what just happened. I then go to it to leave. I couldn't find Capricorn anywhere, so I go down the elevator to go to the Main Room.
When I go to the Main Room, I see Pisces walking up to me abruptly.
"Yo, where the hell is Capricorn?" she asks me.
"That's what I was going to ask you," I sigh.
"You lost her?" Pisces exclaims almost loudly.
That's when Gemini walks up to us. "Hey, blondie. Where's your girl?"
"He lost her," Pisces says sternly, crossing her arms while her eyes never left me.
I sigh. "I didn't lose her...she just walked out on me."
"What? Why?" Gemini asks me.
I shrug my shoulders, still confused. It was bothering me. "I don't fucking know! She was talking about leaving to California after the Elites are destroyed, and I guess I made her feel guilty about it? I don't fucking know!"
Pisces sighs this time. "Of course, you don't know better than to not play devil's advocate with Capricorn."
"Hey, it's not Libra's fault Miss Seagoat had her panties in a twist. If she couldn't handle it, she could've just said that!" Gemini says.
"Yeah, tell that to Capricorn," Pisces rolls her eyes. "She'll get over it. Capricorn always gets over it. She just sucks at playing devil's advocate and feels like it's not fair."
"Isn't devil's advocate the most fair?" I ask.
"Exactly! But see, Capricorn doesn't think like that all the time," Pisces answers.
"Plus, she's a girl," Gemini exclaims.
"A girl that, like the rest of us, could beat your ass in a matter of seconds," Pisces glares at Gemini. Gemini instantly shuts his mouth.
I sigh. "I feel like I fucked it up."
"Maybe. But it's okay. Clearly, you and Capricorn don't see eye to eye on things. Plus you can stop lying about liking books," Pisces shrugs.
"Hey," Gemini says, now looking at Pisces. "How do you know so much about everyone here?"
Pisces smirks. "Instead of running my mouth like how some of us do," she says, sternly looking at Gemini, "I just observe. Nearly all of you are perfect open books. Plus, everyone's cool with me, so that's another plus."
"I think you exaggerated when you said 'everyone'," Gemini laughs.
"That's because, Gemini, you are 'nobody'. Not catergorized with 'everybody.'"
Gemini smirks. "Y'know what they say. 'Nobody' is perfect. So thanks for calling me perfect, Pisces. It's a struggle," he grins, ruffling up her blue hair.
Pisces just looks defeated and annoyed now.
"Yeah, you kinda walked into that one," I tell her.
