Libra's POV

Times Square? I wasn't sure if Orion was fucking with us or not. The whole day has been a day filled with exercise, babysitting Cetus, and I'm sure I have a bad sunburn on one of my arms.

Many of us were excited. Like smiling and grinning excited. Others, such as myself, were skeptical about the situation. There was a catch to it.

"Yes! We're going to Times Square? When?" Cancer cheerfully pumps her fist up.

Orion scoffs. "No, I'm just kidding."

That cause most of the smiling faces to frown and scowl at the old man. I was starting to hate him for tormenting and taunting us.

"You guys aren't going anywhere."

"Well, where the hell is the good news in that?" Sagittarius asks, her face resting back to boredom.

Leo frowned. "I really wanted to go to Times Square. Y'know, like, go shopping, meet celebrities, and go shopping―"

"You already said shopping," I tell her.

"So what's the good news, Orion?" Scorpio pushes, having his arms crossed over his chest.

"Ah, right. So good news is that I'm going to Times Square!" Orion announces.

Gemini blinks a few times. "Wait, what?"

"I thought you said there were good news," Pisces reminds him, twirling a strand of her blue hair around her slim finger.

"It is good news. For me. Not for you guys."

"Wait, so you're going out to Times Square, and we're staying here?" Capricorn asks to make sure.

"Correct."

"This is bullshit." Virgo rolls her crystal blue eyes at the man.

"Did you finally get a date or something?" Aquarius messes around. "I won't get too mad at you if you're getting laid for the first time in 2 decades."

"No, Aquarius, I'm not going on a date," Orion stares daggers at the curly brunette.

"Boo!" Aries shouts with his hands over his mouth to project his voice. He laughs at himself later.

"But while I'm gone, you guys are watching the Elites. No sneaking out. None of you. And don't let them sneak out either. Understood?"

"This is still bullshit," Virgo grumbles again.

"Why do you get to go out and we can't, again?" Cancer asks, her arms folding across her chest.

"You all went out yesterday. I'm going out today," Orion says, straightening his shirt before heading towards the door. "The Elites are in my office."

"Don't you have, like, important documents about us that they could look for in there?" Leo questions.

"Nope. Everything in there is just empty. I checked earlier," Sagittarius shrugs.

"What do you mean you―Y'know what? Nevermind. Just get the Elites. And Virgo―Wait, no―Capricorn, you're in charge," Orion quickly announces before walking through the door.

As soon as Orion left the room, Capricorn stood up and clapped her hands together. "You guys heard him. I'm in charge."

Aquarius sighs. "Just what we needed," he sarcastically responds. "Hey, I don't get it. Why can't I be in charge? I'm responsible."

"Dude, you just made fun of the man for not getting laid for twenty years," I answer. Aquarius shrugs his shoulders while Aries and Gemini snicker.

"I don't see why I'm not in charge," Virgo says, her lips turning to a deep frown.

"I have plenty of reasons," Aries jokes.

Virgo whips her head to the redhead, and the daggers she threw at him were sharp. "You better watch what you say to me today, Ram."

Her voice was cold yet calm and all Aries could do was smirk. "Yes ma'am," he said slow and smoothly.

"Yeah, okay, so I'm heading out. See ya!" Sagittarius announces, standing up and taking a step to leave until I grab her wrist.

"I don't think so. How about you go get the Elites and bring them inside, huh?" I ask politely, gesturing my head towards the door.

Sagittarius rolls her eyes and mumbled a 'fine' before walking out through the door. Taurus taps my shoulder. "I call dibs on watching Cassi."

I shake my head at his random and greedy statement. "You do remember that she's the enemy, right?" Taurus shrugs his shoulders before putting his hands behind his head, almost hitting my head with his elbow.

"Well I call dibs on watching nobody. Can't we just sneak out anyway and leave the Elites in a burning building?" Gemini asks, seeming bored and fed up with the chore.

"I don't know, man, Orion would be furious with us if we don't do what we're told," Leo tells him, sighing and slouching on the couch.

"Since when did you care what Orion says?" Taurus asks, averting his gaze towards the pink haired lady beside him.

"Since I almost died from dehydration and hyperthermia," she answers, giving me a death glare. I avert my gaze, trying not to get my brain pierced from her sharp glare.

When I did avert my gaze, they landed directly on Capricorn. On accident, of course. She looked as if she was ready to speak.

"Okay, delinquents, according to Orion, I'm in charge," Capricorn says, clasping her dainty hands together in front of her. "So that means whatever I say goes."

"It actually means you just make sure we don't fuck up anything," Aquarius intervenes.

"Speaking of fucking shit up, I still need to check that off my to-do-list," Aries announces. "I'll be right back." He stands to walk towards the door to do whatever he felt like he had to do.

Capricorn sighs and shakes her head. "No, Aries, we are not fucking shit up today. Can you at least try to be a responsible adult? Just for a day?"

Aries already had the door open. "Nope," he answers quickly, popping the 'p' sound before slamming the door behind him. I could see Capricorn really fed up with his shit today.

"Yeah, and I'm going to take a nap," Scorpio speaks, standing up from the couch and beginning to also walk out the door.

"Scorpio! We have to watch the E―"

The door slammed behind him. Capricorn groans and I could tell by the look on her face that she was ready to throw something at someone.

"I'll go get Sag and see what's taking her so long with the Elites," Leo lets Capricorn know. Capricorn gave a much appreciated smile. That fucking gorgeous smile.

"And I'll make sure those two actually come back with the Elites and not a sedated mind," Taurus says before running off behind Leo.

"I still don't see why I'm not in charge," Aquarius shrugs his shoulders, not once leaving his comfortable position on the couch.

Capricorn sighs, but doesn't seem to give a smart comment to his statement. "Aquarius, can you get your two best friends back in this room now?"

"No."

"What? Why not?"

"Because I don't like being told what to do," the curly brunette answers, again not shifting his comfortable position.

Capricorn closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before letting it out. "Can you pretty fucking please get Aries and Scorpio before I shove a fork down your throat?" Capricorn threatens. Her voice was oddly and politely forced, but her words was anything but polite.

Aquarius sighs and rolls his eyes before standing up and heading to the door. "You're bossy."

"I am not bossy!"

Aquarius slams the door behind him before Capricorn says anything else.

Capricorn sighs again and sits down near Virgo. And now that about half of us left the room, it was a perfect opportunity to talk to her.

"Hey," I say calmly, hoping it would cool her off just a bit. When she did seem a bit more chill, I continued. "Don't let them stress you. It's not really worth it."

"I never understood how Orion was able to handle all twelve of us," she shakes her head, no longer looking in my direction.

"Who says he ever was able to do that? I mean, you see him whenever Aries and Gemini talk? It's like that grey web on top of his head is on literal fire," I joke, chuckling at the image of his hair burning fire and smoke.

Capricorn laughs just a bit before looking in my direction again. "Okay, that is actually pretty funny when he's angry," she lightens up, keeping that beautiful smile I love to see.

"Exactly! Everyone else is just testing you to make you mad like how they do with him," I try to explain everyone's actions.

That's when Capricorn frowned. "Yeah...but it's only funny when it happens to Orion."

"Then don't let them get you mad," I tell her, leaning back on the couch now. I almost didn't realize that Virgo was also no where to be found.

Capricorn's gaze averts somewhere else behind me now. She smirks a bit before speaking once again. "I'm just surprised Gemini stayed for it," she tells me.

I turn around to see Gemini, Cancer, and Pisces all conversing. It was mainly Gemini talking and Cancer and Pisces were the ones laughing. He seemed proud of himself to make the girls laugh.

"I want to say that I'm surprised Gemini's being responsible, but by the way Cancer and Pisces are laughing, I'm pretty sure he's telling them the same story he's been telling Taur, Leo, and I for weeks," I respond, turning back to Capricorn.

"What story?"

"Something about a beach, some fling, and a fish," I shrug. "It's fucking insane. I stop listening to him after the first few sentences."

Capricorn shakes her head as her head averts back to me. "Typical Gemini."

Now that we were sort of alone and created small talk, I felt like it was about time I shoot my shot. "Hey, Capricorn," I say, almost shuddering when she looked at me with her chocolate brown eyes. "So there's this place downtown, and it's pretty cool, and I was wondering if you ―"

"Sorry. Just hold that thought, I should really check if those three are actually bringing the Elites," she interrupts, instantly standing up from the couch and moving strands of her hair behind her ear. "Thanks for the pep talk though. It actually did cheer me up," she smiles her beautiful smile before heading out the door.

I gave a small smile back that wasn't entirely genuine. When she left the room, I slumped back to the couch. "Fuck," I swear under my breath. A small part of me was angry. At myself and kind of at her for making me mad at myself. I sometimes just wish I could read minds.

"Yo, Libby," a deep voice introduced in my ear. That and the strong grip on my shoulder nearly scared me half to death.

"What do you want, Gemini?" I grumble, still not in a pretty swell mood.

Gemini jumps over the couch to sit next to me. "I saw what happened. That was so embarrassing."

I roll my eyes at the brunette. "Ah, thanks. I feel a whole lot better."

"You really need to up your game, man," he tells me, pulling out his phone to play a game.

"I am! I could've asked her if she just let me finish. Goddamn it, where is Taurus with the Elites, Leo, and Sagittarius anyway?" I groan, turning my head towards Gem.

"Maybe they got distracted," he answers, not taking his eyes off his phone.

"What's to get distracted on? As big as this place is, it's the most dull thing ever!"

"You're right. We need a butler. Or a maid," Gem answers, pausing to respond before going back to his game.

I roll my eyes. "You're an idiot."

"Not gonna lie," Gemini starts, still having his eyes focused on his phone, "but I would kill to see any of these 6 girls in a maid's dress."

I scoff and shake my head. "You're immature."

"Hey, don't act like you wouldn't want to see Capricorn in one," he says, which actually had my mind wandering for a bit. Come to think of it, Capricorn would look so damn good in a maid's dress.

"Damn it! Fucking bullshit game, I died!" Gem frustratedly shouts, throwing his phone on the other side of the couch.

"I think you're taking that game way too seriously," I calmly respond, finally catching Gem's attention.

"And I don't remember asking you what you thought, buddy," he smacks my arm twice. "C'mon, let's go get Aries, Scorpio, and Aquarius. They're taking too long to get back."

I sigh and get up from the couch to get those three guys with Gem while Capricorn went to get everyone else.

●○●

Ever since we got everyone back in the Main Room, including the Elites, I've heard nothing but complaints throughout the whole room.

"Ughhhh," Leo groans, flopping onto the couch obnoxiously. "This is so boring. I hate babysitting three adults who are probably a few years older than me."

"I'm 21, just like you," Cetus reminds her.

Leo pops her head out to look at the Elite. "How do you know how old I am?"

"We were spies, remember?" Cassi rolls her eyes while twirling a strand of her cherry red hair. "This place is horrible. Why don't someone kill me now. I'd actually be fine with that option."

"Trust me. If someone didn't take my gun, you would all have bullets through your heads by now," Pisces grumbled with her arms crossed before walking away in disgust.

I could see a deep frown on Cassi's face. Scorpio waved a dismissive hand. "Don't mind her. She's just in a mood today."

"Trust me. I don't mind it at all," the cherry red headed lady slumps down in the chair behind her.

All I could hear now were more groans, but this time, not from Leo. "Can't we just sneak out again and go to some open party or something?"

"No, Sagittarius. We're not going anywhere," Virgo tells her, growing tired of her begging of leaving the pent.

She now had a deep frown on her face. "You guys are boring. What else do you guys do for fun other than reading books, ruling Town of Stupid, and watching porn?" She gestures her hand over to Aquarius, Gemini, and Scorpio in that order as she said it.

"Just let it go, Sagittarius! We're not going anywhere!" Cancer was almost close to shouting, causing the raven-haired girl to huff and puff and sit on the couch beside Leo.

"Okay, so now that all of us are here," Capricorn greets, standing up once more as if she were giving a speech on politics, "can everyone just cooperate and not be little shits today? I'm looking at you, Scorpio!"

Scorpio shrugs his shoulders, seeming not to care. "Eh, i figured."

"So while Orion is gone, and I'm in charge―"

"Oh my God," Leo mumbles under her breath while rolling her green eyes.

"―I'll watch the Elites and you guys can go relax," Capricorn finished.

Aquarius rolls his brown eyes and threw a hand up. "See? This is why I should've been―Wait, did you say you'll watch the Elites? As in you alone?"

Capricorn nodded her head. "Yep."

"I think it's a trap," Pisces intervenes, her eyes narrowing at Capricorn.

Capricorn shakes her head. "Nope."

"So then what's the catch?" Virgo asks, also not sure if Capricorn was dead serious or not. It was hard to tell with that woman.

Cap shrugs her shoulders. "Well, now that you ask―"

"I knew it!" Pisces jumps.

"Look, there's not really a catch. If you guys just leave me alone the whole day, I don't mind watching the Elites myself."

"So what I'm hearing is, I could've taken my nap," Scorpio grumbles, getting comfortable on the couch.

"Don't you think it's a bit too dangerous to leave you alone with three experienced Elites who not knows everything about you but also wants to escape and kill you?" I ask Capricorn. The idea didn't seem smart and Capricorn was very smart.

The deep melanin-skinned girl shrugs her shoulders and waved a dismissive hand. "I'll be fine. I can handle myself."

"No offense, but I don't think so. If it weren't for me, you would've gotten cut by the red headed bitch over there," Virgo intervenes.

"I'm right here!" Cassi reminds her. I'm sure Virgo acknowledged that yet did not care.

"I'll watch them with you," was all she said after.

"Yeah, so will I," I also intervene. I can hear Leo groan beside me. She was judging me in her head. I could tell.

"Okay, so while you guys do that, bye!" Sagittarius didn't hesitate to leave the Main Room.

"Yeah, and I'm taking that nap. Don't wake me up unless you want a blade in your chest," Scorpio gives Capricorn a warning look and left the room just before Capricorn mocked a nagging face to the Dominican man.

Soon, everyone else did leave the room except for Virgo, Capricorn, the Elites, and me. The Elites were all taking room on the couch, staring at us as if we were supposed to entertain them.

"So..." Cetus starts, crossing a leg over the other. "How's it going?"

Instead of answering him, Capricorn turns to both Virgo and me. "You guys don't have to help, y'know? I don't want to ruin your fun."

"I hope you know that if I weren't going to help you, I would most likely be in Leo's room with Taurus and Gemini while she paints our nails," I tell her. "Trust me, I don't mind."

"Leo paints your nails?" Virgo asks, knitting her brows towards the center.

"Without our consent, yes."

Capricorn chuckles softly. "Typical Leo."

"Hey, so does anyone know how long we're in here for?" Cetus asks, gaining our attention again.

"Probably for a really long time," Virgo answers. "Unfortunately for us."

Cassi groans and throws her head back. "This is so stupid. Spying on you guys was already annoying enough. Now we have to live with the annoying ones."

"C'mon, we're not that annoying," I try to convince.

"And I thought old age was the reason Orion was going grey," Cetus loudly whispers to Cassi, causing her to laugh.

"This shit is stupid," Virgo mumbles, rolling her eyes at the Elites. I could tell by her body movement that she was ready to push them out the window and kill them.

"Virgo Maiden. 21 years old, known as the sassy Uber driver. I haven't spied too much on you but I do know something about an affair with Draco Dragón back in 2018, I believe," Cetus blurts, his lips upturning to a smirk.

I whip my head over to Virgo. "You slept with Draco?"

"Many times, yes," Cetus answers, looking at the band on his wrist rather than at us.

"Okay, Cetus, that is enough," Virgo grits her teeth with a tight and strong fist to her side. Her cheeks burned with a tinted red. I wasn't sure if the blush was from embarrassment or anger. Possibly both.

"Yeah, how mature, Cetus," Capricorn rolls her eyes.

"Capricorn Seagoat. 22 years old, left the group about three years ago, yes? I remember watching you like a hawk before then. You were great at pickpocketing then the same way you are now. I'm honestly, pretty impressed," Cassi starts, tilting her head side to side.

"It's a shame you came back. Because now I'm stuck in here. But when I get out, you definitely will be the first one I come after." She had a grin on her face which was a bit creepy.

That made my blood boil as I squint my eyes at the red headed woman. "Are you threatening her?"

Cassi bit the inside of her cheek before speaking. "Hmm, it's more like a guarantee," she proposes.

I was going to say something else until Cetus continued with his little game the two were playing.

"Libra Scales. 22, I believe―oh, and quite the charmer! Typically, you're a party guy with attitude and class, much like myself if I do say so myself. Oh, and you're in love with Capricorn no matter what your body count is. Although, I didn't have to spy on you to figure that out," Cetus continues.

Heat rushed to my cheeks out of embarrassment and anger. My fists closes tight by my sides and my jaw clenched. "I'm going to beat your ass."

Cetus puts his hands up in surrender. "Hey, I have to find some kind of way to entertain myself here," he casually says, reclining nonchalantly on the couch. "Pissing you guys off seems entertaining enough."

My muscles tense up as I still had the feeling to just punch the guy in the face. I wouldn't mind being the reason his other eye got scarred.

I felt a hand touch my shoulder and quickly meet face to face with Capricorn. "Not worth it," was all she told me and I felt fine again.

Before anything else was said, Virgo groans. "I fucking hate Orion for letting us babysit. It's not like I had fun at the casino last night anyway!"

"Virgo, you had a full course meal of fancy food and Belgium chocolate. I haven't seen you so happy in my life," Capricorn reminds her.

"Well, it wasn't worth it because the chocolate melted in my bra," she sadly whines with an effortless pout. She then groans again. "I'll be back. I'm gonna need a drink or something if I'm helping you with these three." That was when she walked over towards the kitchen.

Capricorn watches her and sighs. "I'm going to make sure she doesn't touch Aquarius' champagne. Watch the Elites for a bit?" she asks me. I didn't realize how close we were until now.

I instantly nod my head, not taking anything that she said to me into thought. "Y-yeah, of course," I answer. And that was when she left.

"Hey, Libra," Cetus asks me almost calmly. He was close to a whisper, and I almost didn't hear him from the talking of Cassi and Corvus beside him.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Can I ask you something?"

"No."

That didn't stop him from asking anyway. "Why do you go after Capricorn?" she asks me.

My eyebrows lower. I wasn't sure if he was judging me or genuinely wanted to know.

"Not saying that you shouldn't but why just her?"

"Don't talk to me about this," I tell him.

"Hey, I'm just trying to help you out! I told you, you remind me of me. We're both blond, charming, strong guys. And plus, our flirt game is beyond top match, but your game fucks up with Capricorn. Just saying," he tells me as if I needed to hear it.

And I hated to admit it, but I did. I never realized how easy it was for me to have girls on each arm or swoop someone off their feet until he said it. I haven't even realize that I don't use the same tactics with Capricorn like I do with the other women.

I shrug my shoulders. "Hell, I don't know. She's not easy like other women, so I guess I don't treat her like she's easy."

Cetus scoffs, and I figured he was judging me. "Well, you live with five other hot girls. I mean, shit, if I were in a house with that many hot girls...phew!" He had a wide grin on his face while looking out into space.

I cringe at the comment. Usually, talking about women in general was a rather normal conversation. Talking about the women who I live with and have known for years...that's just weird.

"Instead of chasing after one woman, I'd go for the whole package," he continues.

My blood starts to boil again hearing him say those words. "You're not going to try a thing with a single girl in this penthouse unless you want a cut across your other eye, understand?" I threaten.

Cetus lowers his eyebrows and then breaks out into a laugh. "This is another reason I like you! You're protective of your girls," he tells me. "But don't worry, I'm just saying that if I were you, I would."

I didn't respond to him so he kept talking. Great.

"Like that Cancer girl? She's a bit crazy. Just last week she twisted my arm behind my back until I apologized for calling her blue haired friend a psychotic bitch. Which―let's be honest―Pisces is fucking scary as shit. Virgo is cold. I tried talking to her the other day and she does a great job at pretending like I don't exist. Capricorn too," he tells me.

"Oh, and then Sagittarius! I thought she was cool and all, but next thing you know, I'm here with you twelve fuckers and it's taking everything in me to not smash her head open," he continues talking. "Leo however..."

When he mentioned the name of my pink haired friend, he had quite a greedy and hungry grin on his face. "You're not getting anywhere close to Leo," I tell him.

Yes, it was true. I was protective of all the girls here, but Leo was my main priority. She was everything a guy would like. Strong, gorgeous, smart, and had a bit of a temper that I know most guys find awfully hot. A girl that Cetus would like.

Leo's my best friend and is almost like a sister to me, which was why my blood boils on a whole different level of heat. Although she could take care of herself, it was nice to know that I could too. And I know Taurus and Gemini felt the same towards her.

Cetus puts his hands up in surrender. "Hey, I'm just saying. You're missing out on options, buddy. Your girls might be crazy, but they're all strong women and know how to put up a fight. No disrespect."

And I hate to say it, but he couldn't have been anymore right.

Leo's POV

Libra stayed with Capricorn and Virgo babysit the enemy, so Taurus, Gem and I were in my room. Taurus was laying on my bed beside me with my soft pillow on his face.

"I could sleep here forever," he dramatically yawns. His voice was muffled from the pillow covering his mouth.

Gemini sits on my lounging chair beside the bed and picks up a picture I had sitting on my desk of the four of us before Gem left. He silently laughs while looking at it. "Aw, I remember when Taurus had braces."

Taurus points a finger at the brunette. "Shut up before I punch you in the face," he warns, his voice still muffled.

I roll my eyes and laugh and slap his leg. "Taur, get up. I wanna do your nails."

"No!" he says. He throws the pillow off his face so I could hear him more clearly.

"C'mon, you need a manicure!"

"I need sleep."

"I'll just do them while you're asleep. And there's no telling what color I would use," I tease, having a smirk on my face.

Taurus looks at me for quite some time before rolling his eyes, groaning, and sitting up. "Fine," he tells me, putting his hand out. "But I want clear this time."

I roll my eyes this time. "Lame," I tell him, crossing my legs together and grabbing the clear nail polish. I start to stroke the paintbrush down his fingernail.

Gemini started laughing. "It must sucks to be you," he tells him.

"I'm doing yours after, Gemini."

That's when the brunette scoffed. "No the hell you're not."

"Yes the hell she is," Taurus tells him.

"What kind of woman would want me if I have nail polish on my fingers?" Gemini asks, holding his hand out and pointed towards it with the other.

"Me," I joke.

"Okay, Leo, but we wouldn't get together."

"Okay then, ask Cancer or Pisces if they'd date you if you had good looking hands."

"I don't need nail polish to have good looking hands!"

"Just let her think that," Taurus grumbles, rolling his eyes.

Of course, I was just messing with them. It was fun to mess with them and it was fun doing girl things with my best friends. Even though I'm great friends with Cancer and kind of with Pisces, I've always felt comfortable with my guy friends more.

"Except, Gemini, I think I'd do yours pink," I joke, moving onto Taurus' other finger.

"Hell no! I would rather have my hands chopped off."

I shrug my shoulders. "Sagittarius has a knife."

"Then I'll let her chop it off for me," he answers, seeming dead serious.

I roll my eyes and look at the brunette for a split second. "God, you're so dramatic. And I'm just kidding. I'll only do Taurus' today."

That was when Taurus' hand snatched from mine. "Woah, I only agreed on doing it because I thought you'd do Gem's too."

"You guys are lame," I growl, screwing the top back in the nail polish bottle. I only got to finish one hand and not the other, but I was sure it wasn't going to bother him. It sure would've bothered me.

"Hey, do you think we should help Libra with the Elites?" Gemini asks, eyes and fingers seeming to be focused on the soft, white Sherpa pillow on his lap.

Taurus scoffs. "Nah, he'll be fine. He's only there for Capricorn, so it can't be too bad. Plus they have Virgo."

I groan. "Is he ever going to get over her?" I blurt.

Taurus looks at me skeptically. "What do you mean?"

"Capricorn, of course," I reply. "Ever since she came back, Libra's been looking like a lost puppy."

Gemini almost bursts into a laugh. "Are you jealous?"

I looked at the brunette with cold eyes which made his grin fade. "No, I'm not jealous. I just miss Libra."

"So do you...like Libra?" Taurus asks me this time, still keeping his skeptical look.

"Of course not."

Which was true. I wasn't jealous of Capricorn nor did I have feelings for one of my best friends. Libra was just indecisive. He always have been. He never knew what he wanted, and following Capricorn doesn't make it any better.

Sometimes I wish I could just help the guy. I just don't know how to do that myself.

"Okay, then," Taurus starts, getting rid of his skeptical look. "Do you like anyone?"

"No, Taur," I groan.

He wags a finger at me. "Good."

I roll my eyes. "God, that's so annoying," I grumble, letting my back lie on my bed mattress.

"What is?" Taurus asks me.

"What if I liked Aries?"

"I'd approve of Aries," Gemini shrugs his shoulders.

"I wouldn't. He's kind of dangerous," Taurus disagrees.

"Yeah, but so is Leo," Gemini tells him.

"Okay, then what about Scorpio?" I ask this time, my elbows holding up my body for support.

Taurus scoffed. "Hell no. The guy could get you pregnant in 0.2 seconds."

"Then what about Aquarius?"

"I don't know. He doesn't seem like the type to get serious," Gemini intervenes, still focusing on the soft, white Sherpa pillow.

Taurus points a finger at him in agreement.

"So even your own friends? I'm not allowed to like anyone?" I ask.

Taurus' eyes soften. "Well, no. I mean, you can. I'd be happy for you. I just want you to be picky with your options. You shouldn't like some jackass we live with, and no offense, we're all jackasses, y'know? I just want you to end up happy."

And moments like those were a reason I was beyond elated to have Taurus as one of my greatest friends. He never showed too much emotion, but he at least assured me that he cares. It was never overprotection, but he was more like a guide. I smiled at his sweet words that he didn't seem to realize have been sweet.

"Ewww, man, that was so cheesy," Gemini laughs, throwing the pillow at Taurus. Taurus scowled and chugged the pillow back at him, mumbling a 'shut up' under his breath.

I silently chuckle at the two immature morons. "It's not like I'd get in a relationship anytime soon anyway. I just miss Libra. I feel like we barely hang out anymore." This time, Taurus nods in agreement.

"Aww," Gemini mocks, "did you miss me while I was gone too, Leo?" By the way he grins, I can tell his pride was beginning to get in the way.

I tilt my head side to side. "About 0%, yeah," I tease, winking at the brunette.

Taurus immaturely points a finger and laughs at him. This time, Gemini told him to shut up and chugs the pillow at him again, immediately, jumping out of the chair to make a run for the door. Taurus tried chugging the pillow back at him, but missed.

"Ha! You missed, pussy!" Gemini cheekily taunts, turning the knob, running out of my room, and closing the door back behind him.

Taurus gets up from the bed and aggressively swings the door open with the pillow in his hand again. "I'm going to fucking suffocate you!" he threatens, holding the pillow high up in the air before chasing him in the hallway.

I heard rapid footsteps beat on the hallway floor as I stay laid on my bed. With the door still open, I hear another door swing open and an angry Scorpio yelling at the two.

"Can you two idiots shut the fuck up? I'm trying to take a nap!" the deep voice shouts.

As on cue, I hear Gemini yelp and a huge collapse to the floor. Scorpio's door slams back shut again, and I stand up from my bed and head towards the hallway.

Taurus had tackled Gemini, and the poor guy was trying to get loose but couldn't. I sigh. "Taurus, can you get off of Gemini? I don't want Pisces to start shooting bullets in the penthouse again," I plead, certain that by anytime, Pisces will shoot a gun until everyone was completely silent. That is if she ever found out Orion took it.

Taurus gets off of Gem with the pillow still in his hand. Gemini immediately stands up and dusts himself off. "Yeah, Taurus, do want Leo says. Oh, and call her daddy while you're at it," he taunts, smirking at the taller and stronger brunette.

Taurus punches Gem in the gut before walking off. Gemini's grunt was extremely loud, and I almost felt bad for him. Almost. He clenched his hand to his stomach and was bent over.

I shake my head. "Gem, next time you should really keep your mouth shut. Like really shut," I tell him.

"Noted," he grumbles, trying to maintain a better posture as he walked back into my room. I follow him inside.

About a few minutes after, we ended up going back inside the Main Room because Gemini wouldn't stop complaining about his stomach.

"Virgo, I feel like my guts are about to explode inside of me," Gemini whines as soon as we walk through the Main Room door.

Capricorn had already had the first aid kit in her hands before giving it to Virgo. My brows scrunch together in amusement yet confusion.

"How did you know we were coming?" I question, looking skeptically at the woman.

"Well, I heard running in the hallway, and since Libra's not there, it had to be Gemini. And then I heard Scorpio yell, and I figured either Pisces was going to shut those two up, Scorpio was going to intervene with some kind of weapon, or Gemini would've gotten punched by Taurus. So which one was it?" Capricorn asks, crossing her arms and looking at the three of us.

I was too amused by her thinking that I forgot to answer the question. Damn, she was smart.

"I got punched by this dickhead!" Gemini answers almost immediately.

"I will punch you again," Taurus guarantees, strutting closer towards Gemini. I grab his arm and gave him a cold look, and he just smirked and behaved himself.

"Okay," Virgo says almost lazily. "Lift your shirt up."

Gemini lifts his shirt over his head and throws it on the floor. His abdomen wasn't too bruised like how Aquarius' was a few weeks ago from Corvus. It just appeared to look a bit red as if it were burning.

"Oh, c'mon that doesn't look that bad," Cetus intervenes, gesturing towards Gemini with his hand.

"I could punch you and then you could give me your judgement," Taurus insists, cracking his knuckles and looking at the beach blonde haired man.

Cetus' eyebrows lowered before he could answer. "On second thought, you should really get that checked out, man," Cetus tells Gemini.

Virgo fiddles with the kit, not being able to open it herself. "V, do you need help?" I ask.

"No, I got it," she tells me, still seeming to struggle to get it open.

Instead of offering again, I watched her continue to struggle to get the kit open. I watched her body language. She was slowly blinking and slowly trying to get it open. I hear her huff after many tries and I look to Taurus and smirk at him.

He sees it and looks back at the platinum blonde. "Virgo, are you drunk?" he asks her.

"I only had, like, three glasses. Now shut up, I'm trying to get this fucking thing open," she groans, her voice sounding extremely frustrated. Either with us or the fact that she couldn't be anymore obvious.

"Fuck, y'know what? Let me do it," Gemini insists, snatching the kit from Virgo's hands. One of her hands wind up in her almost white hair as she scratched her head, watching his hands carefully. Or at least trying to.

Gemini successfully opens the kit. "There. Now do whatever you do and make me feel good again," he orders, putting the kit back in her hands.

Virgo groans again and looks through the kit of bandages. And again, she begins to struggle looking for whatever she was looking for.

I sigh. "Y'know what, Virgo, it's fine. He can just put ice on it," I tell her, taking the kit from her hands and closing it back up.

She slowly frowns before turning over on her heels towards Capricorn. She wasn't drunk. At least not yet. She just also wasn't sober.

"So you let her drink while helping you babysit the Elites? Wait till I tell Orion about this!" Gemini smirks at Capricorn.

Capricorn already had a bag of frozen peas in her hand to give them to him. After his childish remark, she chugged the bag to his stomach. He winced a bit while putting his hand over the bag and maintaining his posture again.

"Can you guys stop using the term 'babysitting?' We're not five year olds who got lost in your penthouse," Cassi whines with her leg crossed over the other.

"Yeah?" Gemini grunts while still holding the frozen peas on his abdomen. "Tell that to Orion."

"When are we going home anyway?" Corvus asks, nearly shocking almost all of us.

I raise a brow at the bigger man. "Oh, so he finally speaks."

"Can you just answer the question, princess?" Corvus sasses with an eye roll.

I sigh while shrugging my shoulders. "I don't know. Orion doesn't know. Nobody knows and probably will never know which, honestly, scares me half to death," I answer truthfully.

"Why? Because we might kill you during our sentence here?" Cetus questions, softly chuckling at himself.

"Oh, no. In fact, it's the opposite of that. The longer you guys stay here, the more I don't mind having your blood on my hands," I answer, thinking nothing of it.

Cetus smirks and looks at Libra who only rolled his eyes. Libra then goes to grab the first aid kit from Virgo's hands and set them elsewhere.

"So..." Taurus intervenes, looking skeptically at Cetus before looking back at Libra. "I'm bored. Wanna go look through Orion's stuff while he's gone?"

Libra shrugs his shoulders before heading towards the door. "Why not?"

"I'm in too," Gemini smirks, still keeping the frozen peas on his abdomen.

"Leo?" Taurus smirks at me for approval.

I wave a dismissive hand at the three men. "I'll catch up later," I insist.

"Alright then. Later!" Gemini was the first to run down the hall again.

I hear another door swing open with full force. "Gemini! Shut..the fuck...up!" Scorpio's voice booms as Taurus pulls the Main Room door shut.

I silently chuckle to myself and shake my head. God, I love those morons.

"So why aren't you going with them?" Capricorn asks me, fixing a frame on the wall beside me.

Capricorn was usually a clean freak. Well, more towards a control freak. Cleaning just so happens to fall under that. She was neat, precise, and extremely particular. Even throughout missions, she couldn't let it go messy. It was like her mind was filled with files and papers like they do in office buildings.

But when it came to money, Capricorn was the messiest person in the world. She didn't care whose it was or where it came from. If she could get her hands onto it, she would. It was kleptomania for her and depending on her days, she wasn't necessarily the best at being completely sneaky due to her eagerness.

I shrug my shoulders at her question. "Just thought you needed help since your best friend is out of order and your boyfriend ditched you."

Capricorn glares at me with instant cold eyes. "Libra's not my boyfriend. He's sweet, but...we're just friends," she tells me, taking a step back to judge if the frame's position was satisfactory.

"Mhm," I hum, looking at her in disbelief whilst twirling a strand of my pink hair around my index finger. "Just friends."

"Seriously, we are," she confirms, taking a step forward to fix the frame again. I believe she only did so to lose eye contact with me.

"Ha! Right," I smirk, walking towards the kitchen to find anything to drink.

When I was near the kitchen, a fresh smell of red wine hit my nostrils. In the sink I saw a glass with a small amount of red liquid at the very bottom. On top of the counter was small droplets of the red wine that Virgo most likely spilled. Soon as I grab a paper towel to wipe it away, a deep voice nearly startles me.

"Hey, princess," says an attractive blonde with a goofy smile on his face. "Wanna get me a drink while you're cleaning?"

I slowly blink at the Elite and can feel the blood rushing through my veins from anger. "I'm sorry, Cetus, but I'm not your fucking maid. And if you're trusting me to get you a drink, keep in mind next time I would sincerely poison you."

Cetus' eyebrows raise as so as his hands. "Whew! I was just messing around!"

I take my eyes off the blonde and continue cleaning the marble counter, hoping none of the red wine would stain it.

"Just a question though," Cetus starts, inching closer towards the counter than towards me. "Why are you here?"

My brows inch together at the odd, wild question. "What the fuck does that mean?" I ask, accidentally making a face of disgust and confusion.

"I mean, why are you a Galactic? You could work so much better as an Elite. Just saying," Cetus says, his tall figure looking over at Cassi and Corvus who were almost sleeping.

I turn to look at the blonde to read if he were serious or was genuinely dumb. He catches me looking and gives me another goofy, annoying, yet attractive grin.

"You don't even know me."

Cetus shrugs his shoulders, and when his shoulders dropped back down, he began to speak again. "Well, after what seems like a year of being here, I realize you're just as great as Cassi."

Instantly, I scoff. "You call that a compliment?"

"Well, sure. Maybe you're even better than her as a fighter too."

"Downing your own teammate? That's pretty low, don't you think?" I ask with a highly arched brow.

"It's the truth, princess."

"Do not call me that. I'm not your fucking princess, Cetus," I bark.

He raises his hands up in defense. "I was trying to be nice."

'Nice' my ass.

"Look, while we're here, don't you think we should get along? Not just us, but everyone else," he continues.

"Hmm, no, I actually don't mind us hating each other. It's seriously a reason you're all here. I'm not trying to make amends nor will I take your offer to do so," I answer truthfully.

Cetus nods his head. "Understandable." His voice was low and disappointing.

Although the Elites knew tons of shit about me and my friends, I was fully aware we rarely knew anything about them. But not knowing everything doesn't men I'm blinded by their fucking lies and manipulation. I'm too smart to fall for any of it.

And I could read Cetus like an open book. He was by far the laziest, sloppiest, yet manipulative member out of the three. Maybe in their whole gang, who knows? He must be the type of guy who tries to play all sweet and innocent but is a 100% douche. I know this because I know tons of douches.

"But if we were to make a truce―"

"Hey, Cap, need some help with that?" I rush towards the woman who looked ready to tumble over with Virgo in her arms.

"Get...off me," Virgo pulls herself away from Capricorn. "And for your information, Leo," the platinum blonde continues, looking at me and trying to keep her balance, "I am not a 'that.'"

I innocently raise both my hands up in surrender due to her sass. Virgo sighs and walks towards the door. I assume she was going to take a nap.

Capricorn sighs too and runs her hands through her long black hair, seeming to be in stress.

Cetus, who was still beside me, was chuckling annoyingly. "So your boyfriend and your best friend left you alone. How unfortunate."

I could hear Capricorn mumble something in the lines of 'Libra is not my boyfriend,' although I was sure Cetus did not.

"You're forgetting that I'm still here," I intervene, raising a brow at the irritating blonde.

"Oh, so she notices my presence once more," he responds with his signature teasing smirk. I roll my eyes at the comment.

Although, I wasn't here to help Capricorn. At least, it wasn't my first intention to. The only reason I agreed on helping out was because I didn't trust the Elites. Everyone has learned the phrase "keep your friends close but your enemies closer." Cetus seemed like the guy to basically worship that saying and have it on his grave.

"Yes, and thanks again, Leo. I owe you," Capricorn insists, again running her fingers through her hair.

"Hell yeah, you do," I add. Like I said, it wasn't my true intention to help Capricorn. But if the woman was insisting me to owe me back, I am absolutely fine with it.

"Hey," a new feminine voice almost shouts from the couch. Capricorn and I both turn to Cassi with a bored face. "You guys mind shutting the hell up? We're trying to watch a show here."

I roll my eyes and turn back to Capricorn. "For that favor, can you help me push that bitch out the 12th floor window?" I suggest.

Cetus instantly holds his hands up. "Oh, that won't be necessary! Cassi usually falls asleep watching TV, so she'll shut up soon," he informs. Although, I didn't care. I wanted all three of them gone.

"Plus, we can't kill them, Leo," Capricorn tells me shaking her head.

"Yet," I audibly mumble. Capricorn raises a brow at me.

"Or hopefully, ever," Cetus adds with a finger raised. I send him a short glare before the door swings open once more.

Coming through the enterance were no other but my three idiotic best friends. Gemini, again, seemed to be injured with Libra walking the brunette in as if he couldn't walk on his two legs. Taurus casually walked behind them.

Capricorn sighs with her eyes shut before making a disappointed face. "Really, Taurus? Again?"

Taurus raises his hands up in defense. "It wasn't me!"

"It was Scorpio this time," Libra answers, sitting Gem down on the couch beside the two annoyed Elites.

I snicker at the sight of Gemini. "I'm surprised he didn't cold-blood murder you yet."

Gemini rolls his eyes at me as I walk up closer towards him. "Ha ha ha," he laughs sarcastically. "Where's Virgo?"

"Off to take a nap, so fortunately for you, you have me," Capricorn grins a forced smile with the First Aid Kit already in her hands.

Gemini chuckles, and now that I was closer to him, I see a little bit on a nose bleed and a bruised cheek. "Fortunately?"

Capricorn already has the kit opened and pulled out a pair of scissors. "You know, it's a bad idea to sass the one with sharp objects in her box," she voices, looking at the metal tool rather than the man.

Gemini immediately raises both hands up, nearly hitting Cassi in the face beside him, while raising both of his eyebrows upward. Capricorn then places the scissors back in the box and begins to fix him up.

Taurus comes to stand next to me, his tall figure undoubtedly towering mine. Instead of turning to him to talk, I keep my eyes focused on Gemini and Capricorn. "So what happened over there?" I asked, sparking up a conversation.

Taurus crosses his arms together while he also watches Gemini getting all cleaned up. "Well, Gemini wanted to mess with Scorpio for threatening him earlier―even though Lib and I told him it was a bad idea―so Scorpio, of course, got angry. Gemini told him if he threatens him again that he swore to beat his ass, so Scorpio threw a Bible at his face and told him to 'swear on that.' Not going to lie, he kind of deserved it though."

I couldn't help myself from snickering at the story. When I laughed, so did Taurus. I wasn't a bit surprised though. Gemini always gets himself in trouble without even acknowledging the consequences. He was always the one who got physically injured or bruised. I never understood how he's gotten so used to it. On the plus side, his pain tolerance is most likely higher than the rest of ours.

"And there you go, Gemini," Capricorn announces right after placing a small bandaid to his cut cheek. "Try not to get yourself hurt again. If you do, I'm sure Virgo is going to have you buy more bandages."

Gemini mumbles a 'thanks' before standing up from the couch. Libra thanks Capricorn with a huge goofy grin on his face. I almost scoff at his reaction every time he even speaks to the woman.

Taurus turned to me this time. "You're hanging with us now, right?" he asks. It sounded almost like a plead rather than a real question.

"Then who's going to watch the Elites with Capricorn?" I ask back. I was honestly more concerned about the Elites than Capricorn right now.

The tall brunette shrugs his shoulders and looked to his side. "Libra could do it," he suggests.

I also look to my side to look at Libra who was now talking to Cetus. Well, Cetus was the main one talking. Libra just looked like he was going to throw punches at the guy.

I figured I've been staring too long because, eventually, I got caught. Cetus' head turns to the side as his eyes caught mine. Instead of showing any sign of embarrassment, he simply smirked just as Libra turned to my direction too.

Flustered by being caught, I immediately whip my head to Taurus' direction again. I vigorously nod my head in agreement. "Yeah, yeah, okay. Libra can help."

Taurus gives me a wide, bright smile which I absolutely adored. It was rather rare around everyone else, but with our group, he was always happy.

I've been nearly startled when a strong arm rests itself on my shoulder. The other arm rest―or tried to rest―on Taurus' tall figure. "So what're we talking about?" Gemini asks with a big goofy grin on his face.

I chuckle, realizing it was just him. "About how Taurus desperately wants me to join in on your fun since you and Libra aren't satisfying him," I answer, turning back to Taur.

He slowly blinks while keeping his smile plastered on his face. "I wasn't desperately wanting you to."

"You should've seen him! He was almost near to beg me," I joke, keeping my smile steady with his.

"You're so irritating," Taurus rolls his eyes. His smile still has never left.

"So who's helping Cap?" Gem asks us, still having his arms rested on our shoulders.

Before any of us could call Libra's name, Capricorn spoke up. "I can do it myself, you know."

Gemini slowly removes his arms from our shoulders and snickers. "You're serious?"

Capricorn shrugs her shoulders. "Yeah. I mean, that was my intended plan anyway until you, Libra, and Virgo helped―tried to help―me."

Taurus shrugs his shoulders this time. "Fine by me. Yo, Libra! Let's go!" he calls out for his best friend still conversing with the Elite.

Without a second of waiting, Libra walks with us while exiting the Main Room door. I wasn't sure what the hell we were going to do, but anything with these three idiots was always a blast.

"Does she really think it's a good idea―alone― for her to watch three Elites?" Libra blurts, his voice sounding rather annoyed than concerned.

Taurus laughs at the blonde. "Libra, you can't be by her all the time. Cap can take perfectly great care of herself." I nod my head in agreement.

"Well, yeah, but―"

"Did you guys see the way she definitely kicked us out the room? It was like she wanted us to leave," Gemini speaks, almost to a whisper.

"We weren't kicked out, Gem. We left willingly," I tell him. We've all learned to be completely dismissive with Gemini's gossip.

"Well, yeah, but it was as if she wanted us to leave," he repeats, putting more emphasis to his statement. "Seems suspicious, huh?"

"Gemini―" Taurus starts before he was rudely cut off.

"What if Capricorn is an Elite?"

I knew he was going to say some stupid shit.

"Oh my God," I roll my eyes in annoyance.

"What if they're all planning on killing us, one by one, right now as we speak?" Gem continues.

"Gem, you're totally right. How about we go back there and spy on them!" Taurus sarcastically suggests.

Gemini rolls his eyes at Taurus this time. "No, but think about it! Where has Cap been for those three years? Hmm?"

I scoff. "We can ask the same thing about you, Gemini. Or should I say Elite," I joke with a slight smirk.

"I'm not an Elite."

"Tell me, man, why does this shit even matter?" Taurus asks him, almost laughing at the absurd theory.

"Because―"

"Gemini, can you just shut the fuck up?!" Libra yells in a deep, low tone. It startled the three of us.

Gemini didn't say another word.

I glance over at Libra, and if it wasn't clear to me then, it was clear to me now. He seems so...annoyed and tense since he's talked to Cetus. And yelling was very out of character for him. He was usually joking or has been the only one in our group to feed into Gemini's bullshit gossip.

For a while, nobody said anything. I wasn't even sure what they were planning on doing, so I continued to walk with them. That was until Taurus began to speak.

"Hey, so―uh―Gem and I will get the paint. Can you two get dirty towels? Bring at least 6 of them," Taurus breaks the deafening silence.

I nod my head because I believe Libra wasn't going to. "Yeah, we got it," I assure him.

He and Gemini went inside the elevator while Libra and I were walking towards the washroom.

Libra was awfully quiet for some odd reason. And I decided to figure out why.

"What the fuck's wrong with you?" I ask casually, not making eye contact as we walked toward the room. "And don't tell me 'nothing' because it's obviously something."

When I said the last part, I can tell by his sigh he knew better by now. He didn't say anything for a long while, but I knew he was going to give in eventually. That's just how Libra is.

"Has Cetus talked to you?" It was the first thing he asked. Libra was always straightforward with things if he was desperate enough to know.

I shake my head and pout a bit. "Not really. Why?"

We now reached the room and try looking for a few dirty towels. I wasn't sure what the fuck they planned on doing earlier, but like I said, doing anything with these three were fun.

"I don't know. He just said some things that upset me," he says, now being dismissive since I gave a straightforward answer.

"Like what?"

"Like how he definitely could switch you to their side. I don't know. He just has a liking for you, I guess," he answers, not meeting my eyes once. He continued looking through clothes in the hampers.

I nearly laugh at his statement. "You're joking, right? You're in a bad mood because of that?"

He didn't say anything.

"Lib, sorry to tell you, but you're getting upset over something stupid. I'd never join the Elites. You know that," I tell him, taking a pause to look through more things.

"Yeah, but Cetus is manipulative. Like, really manipulative. You know that."

I scoff. "He can't be that bad. Plus, I'm smart enough to fall for anyone's manipulation. No matter how good they are at doing it."

"So if you had the choice to die or be an Elite, which would you choose?"

"Death, of course. I'm not half as scared of death when it comes to my own," I shrug.

He nods his head as if he intentionally asked that question for me to answer. And something was telling me he was expecting me to answer that.

"Okay, then, what if you were given the chance to kill me, Taurus, and Gemini? Would you rather do that, or be an Elite?" he asks.

The thought of any of them dead made me shiver. I gulp down a lump in my throat. "Neither―"

"Point of manipulation is to make someone choose one thing or the other," he tells me. His voice still was on the edge of annoyance.

I shrug my shoulders as a stance of casualty. "Be an Elite, I guess."

"Exactly," he responds quickly. "See? And that's why it bothers me. Because Cetus is fucking manipulative, and you're too good of a person to protect everyone else even if you can't for yourself."

I didn't say anything for a while. I didn't know what to say for a while. He made his point, but it still doesn't justify that it will happen.

"You know," I start while looking for towels again, "just because he says things doesn't mean it will happen."

"Yeah, I know."

"So stop being a dick. And stop wondering 'what if' because if it's not now, why the fuck does it matter? Could possibly be never, ever though of that?" I raise a brow at the blonde across from me.

Libra nods his head.

"Plus, you're just letting him get to you. He knows that you find him manipulative, so the more he can try to manipulate you, the more you fall for it. It's like a mental thing," I continue, trying my best to convince him.

He chuckles a bit. "You're starting to sound like Aquarius now."

I roll my eyes but my lips turn into a small smile. "Yeah, yeah, now enough of this Elite manipulation shit. Let's go fuck shit up with those other two idiots."
