Gajeel watched as the monsters surround them, it seemed endless.

"Natsu and Lucy in one their way!" Hibiki shouted, fighting off some of the monsters.

Y/N knocked out some of the monsters and took a deep breath.

"T-there's too many." Levy complained, killing 3 with one blow.

Y/N panted and summoned a large swords, taking out dozens.

But still not enough.

Gajeel threw 3 monsters across the land, smacking some more far away.

He wrapped an arm around Y/N's tired body and whispered "Tired already, squirt?"

Y/N frowned, "No," she denied, then running and attacking some more monsters.

"They're here!" Erza yelled, slashing the last of the advancing monsters.

Levy pointed to the hill top in the distance, "There's more coming!" She noticed.

"Hurry!" Hibiki warned, grabbing onto the ladder that was lowered down.

Levy, Bixlow and Elfman climbed up.

"Hurry Up!" Levy cautioned, "They're approaching!"

Everyone scrambled to get on the ladder.

Gajeel glanced at Y/N, who was looking at the swarm of monsters rapidly approaching.

"Y/N!" He called, grabbing her arm, "Let's go!"

"The others must get to safety first!" She argued, pulling out her magic arrow and started shooting down some monsters.

Erza stood by her, sending blast from the tip of her spear.

Gajeel used his arm to throw cannon at them.

Everyone soon was on the flying boat, Erza grabbed on to the ladder, "Come on!" She said, "Before it's too late!" She warned.

Gajeel grabbed the ladder and followed Erza.

Y/N grabbed on to the ladder and the boat lifted away to safety.

The boat suddenly started smoking.

Y/N looked down, the monsters were piling up each other, throwing large boulders at the magical boat.

Gajeel held out a hand, but Y/N was too far.

"The boats on fire!" Natsu yelled, "Juvia! Do something!"

"There's no water nearby!" Juvia said, freaking out.

Lucy's eyes started to tear up, but glared at the monsters.

"We aren't going to die here!" She yelled, determined.

"Some one needs to go stop the monsters!" Erza said, preparing her armor.

"I'll go!" Y/N announced. "They're after me anyway!"

"Are you dumb!?" Gajeel yelled.

"I'm hanging on the ladder anyway," Y/N said, determined.

She transformed her arrow into the largest sword she had.

"I'll go with you!" Erza said.

"No!" Y/N said, "You stay here to protect the rest."

She looked at her injured friends.

Y/N looked back at Gajeel and smiled.

"If I die-"

"You're not going to die!" Gajeel interrupted,

"I always liked you." Y/N confessed, strapping daggers to her belt.

"W-What?" He stuttered.

Y/N smiled, sheepishly and pecked his dry lips.

"See you on the other side." She saluted her friends and jumped.

"I-I like you too.." Gajeel said, quietly.

Erza gritted her teeth, "I should have gone down with her."

Gajeel watched Y/N as she fought and slashed countless monsters.

She chanted something, a magical f/c aura surrounded her.

Y/N suddenly just stood there, monsters stood there too, waiting.

Waiting for some one too make a move, Y/N grinned at the monsters.

She said something to the monsters, the backed away and growled at her.

"The ships ready!" Natsu announced, ready to fly.

"Y/N's still down there!" Gajeel yelled.

Erza's face turned pale, suddenly.

Lucy mumbled "no, no, no.."

Y/N looked up at him and smiled ,
sadly.

"See you on the other side"

"NO!" Gajeel screamed, diving towards her, Erza quickly pulled Gajeel back.

"LET ME GO!" He yelled, tears poked around his eyes, fogging his vision.

"NO! S-She made her decision..." Erza said.

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!" Gajeel yelled.

"IF WE GO BACK, WE WILL ALL GET KILLED!" Erza was crying too.

The aura around Y/N was disappearing.

  Y/N watched as the ship float away, feeling free, the monsters climb on her, tearing her apart.

Gajeel stood there, numb, watching her slip through his fingertips.

He can't help thinking 'You left too early.'

"See you on the other side."
