"Gajeel ? No, I haven't really seen him today.", Levy Mcgarden, sweetly said to Mira as she sat on the barstool to order her smoothie.

"Hmm. That's weird. I'm pretty sure he is looking for you.", Mira replied softly.

"Me ? Is there some reason for why he is looking for me?", she asked as her full attention focus on the barmaid.

"I don't really know. He didn't tell me anything. But - one thing is for sure, he is blushing while asking for you.", she grinned as the blue-headed girl's face turned into a deep scarlet.

"Y-you're kidding.", she mumbles.

"I am not. I'm pretty sure about it. Why don't you look for him and ask him yourself ? Afterall, I heard some rumors."

"What rumors ?"

"Macao and Wakaba saw Gajeel gathering some flowers on the field. He's making a bouquet with irons and stuff. They said he is going to give it to his "crush".", she said innocently eyeing what would be the blunette's reaction.

"C-crush ?"

"Yes. What a coincidence, isn't it ?"

"What's the coincidence there ?"

"Oh. That he's looking for you.", she smiled.

Now Levy's face can rival Erza's hair.

"T-that must be just a coincidence."

"We won't know until you found him. Why don't you look for him?"

And that's what she'll do. She cancelled her order and got out of her chair. She asks the people of the guild if they saw the iron dragon slayer.

"Metal head ? Oh, he was here earlier, but didn't stay that long. Scaredy ass, he just don't want me to beat him.", Natsu said as he smirks proudly.

"Don't be too full of yourself. Don't mind him Levy-chan. I think Gajeel is looking for someone, but he didn't really tell us. Maybe he's home ? His face is slightly red, I'm not sure if he is blushing or just sick, because he is still scowling.", Lucy added.

"Oh. Might as well visit him then."

She bid her goodbye to her best friend and starts her journey to his house located at the outskirts of town.

As she reached his porch, she saw Pantherlily walking towards her.

"Hey Lily.", she greeted.

"Hi Levy. Do you need something ?", the little warrior asked.

"Oh. Nothing in particular. Just wanna ask if Gajeel is here ?"

"Gajeel ? I'm afraid he's not here. I'm actually looking for him. I haven't seen him since morning. He's acting very strange."

"Strange ?"

"Yes. Like he's hiding stuff. I saw some flowers on his room and I tried to ask him, be he just walk out with it."

"Oh. I'll try to look for him at the town, then. Thanks Lily."

"You're welcome. I'll be staying here then. I leave him to you."

She starts to walk towards the town to look for the iron dragon slayer.

"Where could he be ? And why would he looked for me? M-maybe he's giving me- no ! Levy that is nonsense ! But you know you like him too. No ! That is still impossible !", she thought as she fought herself in her mind.

She continuously walks around the town until two strong hands pull him into the dark alley.

"Hmmph !!", she screamed as the palm of his kidnapper place tightly on her lips.

"Quiet down shrimp ! It's me !" She turned around to meet two red orbs staring down at her.

"Gajeel ! You scared me, you lug !", she said as she glared at him and smacked his chest.

"Gihi. Sorry. I just don't want anyone to see us.", he said as he scratch the back of his neck and a tint blush formed on his face.

Heat flowed on her face as she saw the blush on his face.

"D-do you need anything ?"

"Uh yeah .. I kinda want you to uh- c-can we go at the park ? I have to tell you something."

Her heart beats faster and butterflies fly wildly on her stomach.

"W-why does it have to be in a park ?"

He glanced left and right first before turning to her seriously.

"This is very important.", he said as he placed both of his hands on her shoulder. The pink tint still visible on his face.

"O-ok."

He grabs her arm and they start to walk towards the park. As they reach the park, Levy noticed all different flowers scattered around.

They stop in the middle of the scattered flowers and Gajeel faced her with the same seriousness in his eyes.

"Levy .. uh .. will you- uhm..", he said a little bit of nervous.

Levy's hope about her feelings for Gajeel came back as he looks at her with nervousness and the blush is growing wider on his face. She never seen Gajeel like this before, and seeing this makes her heart go wild.

"Yes?"

"I .. uh.. I'm just wondering if .."

"If ??", she said as she felt the tension was slowly killing her. Her expectations were flying high.

"If- you could help me make a bouquet ?", he mumbled but she make the words out clear in her mind as her hopes crash to the ground.

"Help you to make a bouquet ? Uhm . Sure .. who's the lucky girl ?", she asked forcing a smile to hide her disappointment.

"I- I can't tell you right now.", he said as he scratch the back of his neck.

"Oh. Ok then. Well, let's start."

They took a seat on the ground as they start their work.

After half an hour, they manage to make a bouquet out of the flowers Gajeel brought and some metals to add decorations to the flower.

"Thanks shrimp ! I owe you big.", he said as he smiled widely at their outcome.

"Y-yeah. Sure. Don't mention it."

"Gihi. Now I can give it to her."

Her world shattered around her as she watch him excitedly looking at the bouquet. When tears threaten to fall on her face, she excused herself and run towards the exit of the park.

She heard him calling out to her but she ignores him. Continuously running with no particular direction. She found herself at the woods and she sat there under a large tree hugging both of her knees as she sobs silently.

"Hey." She didn't look up even as she heard his gruff voice.

"Shrimp. Did I do something wrong ? Why are you crying?"

When no reply came, he crouch in front of her and tilt her face. She shut her eyes close to avoid looking at him.

"Can you please tell me what happened, Levy ?"

"I-I'm sorry."

"Why are you saying sorry ?"

"I'm just- I became upset.", she mumbled.

"Upset? Why are you upset?", he asked as he quirked his eyebrow.

She heave a deep sigh, debating with herself if she's going to tell him or not. But she decided, if she wants this to be over and have the path to move on, then she needs to tell him everything.

"I- I like you, ok ?! And seeing you making some bouquet for a girl, makes me- makes me ..", she was cut off by her own sob as she forcefully shook her head.

"What the hell shrimp. That's why you're crying ? I thought I did something terrible."

His words struck her painfully as he sounded so normal and not affected at all.

"Granny.", he said as he scratched his nape.

"Huh ?"

"You asked me earlier, for whom this bouquet is right ? Well- it's for granny. Y'know, from the magic council, Belno. It's for her birthday. She really loves flowers, so that's why I want to make a bouquet, and add some irons, but I don't really have an idea about designing stuff. And you were the first person who came to my mind that can help me.", he said looking away.

"I-It's not for your crush ?"

"Crush ? Where the hell did that came from ?"

"Uhm .. the guild, they were talking about your crush, because you're blushing when you entered the guild, a-and Macao and Wakaba saw you picking up flowers."

"Those idiots. They were always jumping towards silly conclusions."

"I-I guess.", she laugh nervously.

"Gihi. But I didn't know you have feelings for me."

Her face turned beet tomato and she shook her head nervously.

"U -uhm .."

He tilt her head and cups her face then leaned forward to catch her lips.

Her eyes widen as she felt his lips on her's but soon closes her eyes and melts in the kiss. As they parted for air, both panting heavily, he smirks and peck her again on the lips.

"I like you too, shrimp. I guess I need to make another present, huh ?"
