So someone asked me if they could use my story lines and characters and turn them into YouTube videos and I honestly don't know how to reply. They said they'd credit me but I'm having mixed feelings about this since I don't want others to get recognition for my work if you know what I mean but at the same time if people could see my story lines anywhere on YouTube even if it's not my channel it'd be nice. I'm not sure what to do so please tell me your opinion guys, this is a tough situation for me.

If the person who asked to use my characters and story lines is reading this, give me some time to think, I'm not sure yet.
