Rose smiled to herself, as she let her mind wander to the hunt they had in this little town, it was already afternoon time after they finished up. They had even made a small amount of money, although they were posed as health inspectors rather than hunters.

She remembered how surprised she was when Dean offered to take a night off, to do some normal things. Like shopping, a sit down dinner, a night to watch the stars. He had even suggested staying in a real hotel, and although she wanted nothing more than to sleep in a nice clean hotel, order room service, have breakfast the next morning with hotel catering. But with every luxury comes a big price tag, so she had to be an adult and tell Dean, no to the hotel.

Dean seemed a little deflated, but perked up again when she said that everything else sounded amazing. She didn't really remember much about the evening, not where they went, not what they ate, not what they talked about. She remembered holding his hand, and going into a jewelry store to ask where the best view in town was.

She remembered a necklace in the jewelry store and how expensive it was, she remembered laying down on the blanket and looking up at the constellations in the sky. She remembered, Dean's hand resting on top of hers, and his fingers laced up in between her own. Rose remembered, a shooting star passing over and wishing that one day they would have enough money to have a night in a hotel, and be able to afford nice things. She remembered falling asleep that night and waking up in the back seat as they sped down the highway, back towards Kansas.

Rose thought to herself, that will probably never happen again. Rose, looked up and smile. She knew this was her chance to be happy once again.
