"Stop laughing! I don't like her! I like you!"
"I'm sorry Nathalie, but you don't get that flustered whenever my name gets mentioned."
"I was flustered because I just found out she might be alive! You don't get how I said my goodbye to her! I promised to move on! I promised to love you because she told me to!"
"She told you to? So you don't actually like me?"
"I do! But-...I DONT KNOW GABRIEL! IVE NEVER HAD AN OPINION OF MY OWN! It was always people manipulating me so I never made decisions by myself..."
Nathalie started to cry as she finished speaking.
Gabriel couldn't do anything other than feel horrible for her, now he didn't know if Emelie forced her to like him or she did it by herself.

"But how do you feel? Who do you like?"
"I-I don't know...you're great and she's also great but I don't know who to choose. I don't want to go back to her though."
"Why? Did she do something bad?"
"No...I just...I don't know! She acts so possessive and bossy that I hate it, and yet I still love her, and maybe you were right, maybe I do only love the perfect idea of you...because I sure don't love it when you leave me like a coward!!"  Nathalie shouted as tears ran down from her eyes and dropped onto the floor.
Once again Gabriel didn't know what to do or how to react, he could either hug her and assure that everything will be fine or he could just leave her because she didn't seem like she wanted anyone near her at this moment.
"Nathalie I-...maybe we should find Emelie first, and then you could-...make your choice. How about that?"
"You go find her! I don't want her near me, but I need to know that she's safe."
"Nathalie please, we should both go. I'll be there if you need me to."
He laid a hand on her shoulder and gave Nathalie a reassuring smile which made her agree to join.
"Fine. I'll go with you." She mumbled and to the sound of that Gabriel quickly hugged her. He couldn't be more happy, because now at least they could figure out who would be best for Nathalie.
"And what about me?" Adrien awkwardly interrupted.
"Oh...I suggest you stay home unless-"
"No no I'll stay. You guys go together."

*later*

Nathalie hesitantly packed her bag, she was still not sure if she could handle meeting Emelie but she didn't really have a choice since she promised to go with Gabriel.
"Almost done!" She shouted to Gabriel who was waiting outside the door.
Nathalie packed the last important items into her bag and then proceeded to close it.
After that she was ready to leave and now the only thing that was left was to prepare for meeting Emelie, face to face.
"Let's go!" She hurried towards the car, dragging the heavy package behind her but thankfully Gabriel rushed to take it away and carry it. He opened the trunk of the car and placed Nathalie's bag down there, after that he himself got in the car and was ready for the trip.
"I'll drive, so you can have that time to prepare." Gabriel smiled at her as he held onto the steering wheel and started the engine, soon enough they were on the road heading towards the place where they apparently found her.
Still Nathalie wasn't sure what to think of it, was this all a joke and maybe Emelie was long gone. She was to scared to go trough everything all over again, so she didn't even want to think of the idea of Emelie but she couldn't help it, somehow she was always stuck in her mind. She was like the sticky gum you can never get off of your shoe no matter how hard you try.
Nathalie sighed and laid back, her head firmly pressing against the car seat, she even closed her eyes whilst trying to comprehend all of the chaos that was going on with her life.
"Hey, it's going to be fine." Gabriel woke her up by laying a hand on her thigh and as soon as Nathalie opened her eyes she saw him half focused on her since Gabriel still needed to focus on driving.
"Alright..."
"That didn't sound very enthusiastic."
"I can't! I'm just too scared to see her again."
"That's fine, I'm also scared. But I can assure you that nothing bad will happen, everything will be fine."
Gabriel quickly kissed her before turning his head back onto the road, this sent a blush across Nathalie's face which made her forget about Emelie for a second.

*later*

"Here we are." Gabriel got out of the car and also opened the door for Nathalie.
She hesitated before steeping out but eventually Nathalie managed to gather enough strength to brace herself for whatever would happen next.
"So she should be here?" Gabriel looked up at the old rundown hotel/motel that stood before them.
"Apparently yes." Nathalie began walking inside and to Gabriel's surprise she knew this place like the back of her hand. She effortlessly chose a random room number and opened the door as if she would've stepped into her own room.
"Emelie?" Nathalie's voice echoed through the room that seemed to be empty.
"No way she will be here." Gabriel mumbled as soon as a light switched on.
"Emelie?" Nathalie repeated her question but this time no answer not even a sign appeared.
"Duusu?...I have a cookie!" She waited a few seconds until the blue creature rushed out of the room and circled around Nathalie in excitement.
"Miss Nathalie!!!! I missed you soooooo much!!!!"
"Me too...do you know where Emelie is?"
"Yes! She's here! But she isn't looking very well because my miraculous isn't fully repaired."
Duusu led Nathalie to Emelie who was sitting down on the floor, her body tilted against a wardrobe.
"Nathalie? Gabriel?" Emelie's weak voice asked.
Nathalie almost couldn't believe that she had the chance to see her again, she was happier than ever but seeing the terrible condition Emelie was in took away her smile.
"What happened? You look awful, no I mean you're pretty but right now-" Nathalie knelt down in front of her and looked at the barely alive Emelie, that looked like a living corpse.
"I get it...I'm fine it's just the miraculous, turns out the only thing that's keeping me alive is this broken piece of jewelry that I stuck together with tape."
"How can I fix it? What do I need to do? You need medical care right away!"
"No Nathalie I don't. And you don't need to do anything."
"But I-...I just want to help you."
She helplessly pulled on Emelie's arms hoping she would react quicker but every time it took a couple of seconds before she could gather her strength to answer back.
"No, this is the end."
"NO! I won't let that happen!"
"You can't save me. It's not worth it."
"Worth what? What do I need to save you,"
"Someone else-...you need someone else's life in exchange."
