"Is he just playing with me?...Answer me Duusu you're the kwami of emotions!"
Nathalie yelled as she turned her head to face the blue creature but she was nowhere to be found.
"Wha-" She was confused about what just happened, a second ago the kwami was flying over her head and now she was gone!
Soon enough Nathalie remembered how she broke the peacock miraculous and how she never took it back from the hospital so Duusu wasn't even there in the first place and it was all a hallucinating.
"Great." Nathalie though.
This is just what she needed. She was going insane and she just got a flashback to the hospital scene when she found out Emelie was dead.

After taking a while to move on from Emelie she finally thought that Gabriel would immediately love her back but turns out his love came with a lot of secrets and unknown sides.
She couldn't trust him, and what she feared the most was that once again she would get her heart broken just like she did last night.
A sudden ringing interrupted the crying, and of course it was him.
"Nathalie! Do you want me to come over? Or-" Gabriel's voice said through the phone.
She knew she shouldn't say 'yes' but somehow even after all of this trouble she longed for him.
Without hesitation Nathalie agreed and Gabriel was already on his way to her house.

When Gabriel arrived he almost looked as if he didn't just sign an evil contract with Audrey (who he promised to never work with again).
He put on an innocent face and just tried to ignore all of the intrusive thoughts, but when Nathalie asked about what was bothering him Gabriel knew he didn't manage to hide the truth.
"Look Nathalie I-I may have done something you told me not to do-..."
"What?!?!"
"I-I-w-w-with-A-Audrey."
"What?!?!!? You've slept with her? She slept with you? You like her? She threatened you? She's the new Hawk Moth?!? Or Mayura??"
"No-noooo...I did what you told me not to-...sign a contract with her...I'm sorry I just felt so miserable and lost like my company alone won't work."
Nathalie stared at him with a very disappointed face, she didn't move and just kept looking at him with the saddest expression ever.
"Why? You had me! I thought you trusted me with the company, I've always run the business, I don't know why suddenly you've became so cold towards me!"
"I didn't mean t-"
"Don't even! I'm done with your 'sorries'. All I asked for was a little trust! I told you we could make it work without Audrey! I gave you all my trust and you left! You left me all alone twice!"
Nathalie was furious by now and Gabriel didn't know what to say, he couldn't bring up any argument for his sake, so he just listened to her explaining how bad of a person he was until Gabriel interrupted her:
"I trust you Nathalie!! I didn't do it because I didn't trust you, I did it because Audrey was going downhill, everyone turned against her."
"And? DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE? She can die if it's up to me!! All I cared about was your happiness and this is what I get in return?"
"No-no I'm sorry, and you know that! Nathalie please...Audrey has been in my life for way to long, I needed to help her out, she always helped me when I was down."
"But you promised it will be only the two of us-..."
Nathalie looked away from his direction so she could endlessly stare at the ground feeling all lost inside.
Why was he over at her house in the first place? Why didn't she kick him out already? Why was she so god damn forgiving?!
"You know what- GET OUT!"
"Huh?"
"Get out Gabriel! Get out of my house! I don't want you here!"
"Please...just give me one more chance."
Nathalie vigorously shook her head to the point where she got dizzy, when the room stopped spinning Gabriel was still there giving her puppy eyes.
"Your last chance!" She agreed which made him instantly hug her. He was glad he had a final chance with her and he would do anything to earn her trust back.

*later*

Whilst Nathalie was cooking dinner Gabriel secretly watched her instead of showering like he promised to do.
He watched as Nathalie took the plates from the top shelf, and then she turned around to walk to the table where Gabriel was.
At first she thought Gabriel was showering so whoever was in front of her was a stranger, but once he started speaking Nathalie realized it was indeed Gabriel.
"May I help?"
"Sure-" before Nathalie could hand the plates to him the door flung open and Adrien looked as if he had brought bad news...bad bad news.
"She's gone."
"Who? When? Why? What are you saying Adrien?" Gabriel stepped forward to comfort the shaking child who couldn't even speak.
"M-mom...she's gone..."
"Y-yeah...she died a week ago..." Nathalie mumbled but as soon as Adrien heard that he shook his head signaling "she's gone" meant something much worse.
"Her corpse...they lost it."
"WHAT?! HOW DOES ONE LOOSE A BODY?!?"
"Nathalie-...where's the miraculous? The peacock miraculous...where did you put it?"
Adrien asked all worried and that also made Nathalie worried as she realized she left the miraculous broken into tiny pieces, so that probably means the cleaning staff took it.
"It shattered into a million pieces, so it's probably in the trash why?"
"Well if kwamis can't die then they need a home...which means Duusu revived her house (the peacock miraculous)...and since mother only lived because of that maybe-"
Nathalie held her breath for a moment before mumbling "alive?". She couldn't believe it and she didn't want to. All her efforts to forget about Emelie just went to waste.
"If she is...alive...where is she?
"Nathalie do you know?" Gabriel saw how the woman beside him slid down to the floor and now was on the verge of tears.
"Nathalie? Do you-"
"No Gabriel I don't! I don't know anything-!!" She began to sob so Gabriel knelt in front of her and pulled Nathalie into his arms as Adrien watched.
"It's okay Nathalie, we'll find her-"
"NO! I can't see her again...that would make everything much more worse than it already is."
Nathalie said out of rage, and that surprised both Agrestes that we're used to her calm/boring personality that didn't like to argue. 
Suddenly she became so angry and sad at the same time no one knew what was going on.
"Why?" Gabriel pulled her chin up so she would look directly into his eyes instead of shamefully staring at the floor whilst her tears dropped onto the ground.
"Because I don't want to! I'm totally over her."
"Oh...so you still like her?"
"NO! I said I'm over her!!"
"Nathalie...I know you well enough to realize that that's a lie. It's completely fine if you still have feelings-"
"I DONT! That was totally a one time thing with no strings attached. She was your wife so I wouldn't even dare to consider-"
After declaring that Nathalie's checks turned a pink color that made Gabriel laugh bitterly at her.
Ironic.
She said she didn't like Emelie but as soon as her name gets mentioned Nathalie got all defensive and flustered, isn't that love?
