Adrien looked up at his father with a confused expression.
"What happened?" Adrien asked.
"Nothing." Gabriel walked away acting like he didn't just have a mental breakdown.
Adrien looked over to his mom trying to ask what was going on.
"Everything will be alright." Emelie smiled trying to convince Adrien everything was fine but that was far from the truth. The family was slowly crumbling down piece by piece.

*9 pm*

Nathalie got tired of crying so she transformed into her villain identity and left to look at the stars. Once she made it to the desired rooftop she sat down and when she thought she was all alone Chat Noir's geeen eyes flashed before her. She jumped up in a defensive pose. She wasn't planning on fighting tonight plus she was too weak to even try to fight.
"I don't want to fight." She made it clear.
"Why are you here then?" Chat asked.
"This is the way I cope with life problems."
All of a sudden Chat Noir felt bad for a villain. He should have gotten her miraculous by now but those words stopped him.
"Why are you here kid?" Mayura asked while she sat down almost next to him.
Her miraculous was in his reach but he wasn't planning on taking it away from her.
"Relatable I also got life problems." Chat sighed.
"You know we aren't planing on attacking Paris anytime soon." Mayura knew Hawk Moth gave up because Emelie was already back alive.
"How come?"
"He got what he wanted." It was painful to say that.
"And you? Did you get what you wanted?" The kid asked with curiosity.
"No. But I didn't want anything."
"Why? What was the point of helping him if you don't benefit from it?" Chat was unsure why she would have dedicated her life to him even if she didn't get anything out of it.
Now that's true commitment.
"It's called being in love." Mayura was familiar with the situation she was in. Everyone she loved didn't love her back...almost everyone. Because Gabriel did love her back she just didn't know.
"Ouch. If that is love I don't want it,"
"It sucks." She let out a painful sigh.
"Wait so he doesn't love you?" Chat thought they were together.
"He has a wife."
"And that's not you?"
"No. I could only dream I was her."
"I mean you guys seem pretty close. I am pretty sure he does have feeling for you. The way he looks at you the way he always makes sure you are alright and he always rushes to help you." Chat remember all of the times Hawk Moth and Mayura seemed like a couple.
"He needed me to get her back." A single tear dropped down from her eye.
Chat felt horrible for her. She was just some toy in his game. He basically used her for his own benefit. Hawk Moth was cruel not just in the way he could destroy Paris but in the was he treated her.

*meanwhile*

The mansion was dead silent because everyone was sleeping...everyone except Gabriel. He was outside on the balcony staring up at the sky reconsidering his whole life. What better way to escape reality then run away as a villain, he thought to himself as he transformed into Hawk Moth. He jumped up to the rooftop and walked around trying to find a spot where he could look at the sky. As he was casually walking on the rooftops he stopped his partner in crime "Mayura" and his worst enemy "Chat Noir". They seemed to be talking to each other. He was confused why she would be out here at this time of the night and why she was talking to her enemy. He creeped up behind her and listened to their conversation.
"I am sorry you deserve better." Chat Noir said to Mayura.
"It's alright. Life is unfair anyway." She made a fair statement.
Life was indeed cruel when everyone hated you because you were a villain but all you really wanted was love.

*meanwhile back at the mansion*

(Background info: Amelie knew her sister was alive and she also knew Gabriel wanted to divorce Emelie. However Amelie wanted them to be together and she also knew her sister would accept the divorce so she took matters into her own hands.)

The silence was broken by the noise of a pair of heels clicking against the marble floor.
The door leading to Emelie's room was swung open and she woke up to someone walking towards her.
"Don't worry sister...I'll deal with him." A voice was heard from the darkness. A cloth was held to her nose and the smell of it immediately sent her to sleep.

(What happened: Amelie broke into the mansion and she took the place of Emelie. Basically she dressed up as her and made herself look exactly like her twin sister.
Now that she looked just like Emelie she could control Gabriel and there would be no divorce. What happened with Emelie? Don't worry she will be a good mom to Felix. So basically Emelie is forced to be Amelie and Amelie is now looking just like Emelie and of course she will take good care of her "husband" Gabriel.)

*back to Mayura, Chat Noir and Hawk Moth*

Hawk Moth continued to stay hidden while he listened to what Mayura and Chat Noir were chatting about.
"I need to go kid. Have a good night." Mayura got up to leave when she spotted Hawk Moth.
Her whole body froze once she realized he much have heard all of the things they have said. Chat Noir didn't know why she suddenly froze but when he also turned around to see Hawk Moth he also froze.
"I am sorry." That's all Hawk Moth said.
He felt bad after he heard all of the things Mayura and Chat Noir talked about.
Mayura seemed to like him even if he was the most cruel person ever.
