(1) Little Gabriel

Bloodshed pack.

The most vicious pack in the northern region and hated by all, but it wasn't always like that.

Not always.

A large squeal came from inside of the pack house as a small blonde haired little boy came running into the living area of the building in a full sprint, his blonde hair bouncing on top of his head.

"GABRIEL!" The man roared as he hurried after the little boy.

He was a tall man and well built, he had light brown hair with dark brown eyes that almost looked black with a scar that ran from his forehead, across his eye and down to the top of his cheek leaving him partially blind in his right eye. This man was Alpha Michael of the Bloodshed pack.

He stopped chasing the little boy and groaned in frustration as he noticed his beloved wife come wobbling in.

"Addilyn! Get your damn son before I do something I regret," Alpha Michael growled, glaring at Gabriel in frustration.

"What did he do this time?" She asked as Gabriel squealed with excitement and hid behind his mother's leg, peering from behind to look up at his father with mischievous thoughts dancing in his pupils.

She was a beautiful woman who came from a very powerful family. She had long blonde hair down to the curve in her back and beautiful hazel eyes that seemed to run in her family. She had a kind face that made her seem so approachable but she had the attitude and authority of powerful father whom she always looked up to. That's why she loved Alpha Michael and the Bloodshed pack, they reminded her of her father and her own pack once upon a time. Strict, stern, disciplined and dangerous, Alpha Michael was a man who strived for the best in his pack, even if that meant getting rid of the weak.

"He snuck into my office while I was taking a nap and tried to shove a pen down my throat," Alpha Michael growled.

She chuckled as he looked at her in a disapproving manner. He walked out of the pack house living room angrily leaving Addilyn and Gabriel behind chuckling .

"Why did you try to stick a pen down your fathers throat?" She asked her son who was staring up at her with admiration.

In his eyes his mother was beautiful and so powerful, he wanted to be like her when he grew up but even more. He wanted to be the most respected and greatest Alpha in the world. It seemed impossible but kids loved to dream big. Even from a young age he always saw himself as a leader of many, treating everyone fairly and equally. Being adored by all.

"He was snoring too loud and he wouldn't wake up," He giggled.

She smiled and beckoned for him to sit down with her since she couldn't stand on her feet too long due to the fact that her child was due any day now.

"Mommy why can't I have my wolf now, I want to be a wolf," Gabriel pouted.

"Well you are a wolf my little love bug, your wolf spirit is burrowed deep inside of you, ready to be awakened when you officially become of age. But what you can be excited for is a new friend once you are able to shift, your wolf spirit is an entirely different entity from you, you both are just co existing in this one body, you'll be able to talk to each other, work together with each other and hopefully love each other. Legend says your wolf is the reflection of your soul, you find out who you truly are deep down inside when you're able to shift." She smiled as she explained.

"It's not a legend it's true. Shifting can change the entire person you are for the good or the better, they may be a completely different entity of it's own but it's still a reflection of who you truly are. Hopefully when you shift you'll learn its wrong to stick things down your fathers throat," Alpha Michael growled.

"I'm sorry daddy." Gabriel shrunk down into the couch, avoiding his father's gaze.

"Michael," Addilyn said as she held onto her round stomach tightly and tried to lift herself up from the couch.

"What Lyn, what's wrong?" Michael said quickly has he rushed to his Luna's side, worrying for her safety and well being.

"Oh my goddess Michael it's happening, its happening, its happening," She continued as she rose herself up from the couch and began wobbling towards the door.

"Lyn what's happening?!" Michael tried to stop her as Gabriel looked at his mother with concern and curiosity.

He was only six years old, he didn't know how babies were made or even how they were born so he didn't understand why his mother was in pain.

"Michael I have to go to the pack hospital the baby is coming and it's coming fast! She yelled as she scrunched her face up in pain.

Alpha Michael and Gabriel sat quietly in the hospital waiting room, forbidden to go into the room as they listened to Addilyn's screams all throughout the building.

"Daddy, why is mommy screaming?" Gabriel finally asked breaking the silence, swinging his legs back and forth in the waiting room chairs.

"She's in a lot of pain right now,"

"What happened?"

"That conversation is for a later time in the future,"

"I wanna know what's wrong with my mommy." Gabriel huffed.

Michael rolled his eyes and smiled.

"You're such a mommy's boy, that will all change once you get older," He chuckled.

"Why?"

"You'll want to be powerful and be Alpha but you need a Alpha to train you to be a future leader not a Luna,"

"Alpha sir?" The nurse came out and bowed to Alpha Michael.

"What, is everything alright?" He quickly rose up, forgetting all about Gabriel.

"Yes we just figured you would like to see your new healthy baby girl," The nurse smiled.

His face immediately lit up and he practically ran into the room where his wife and newly born daughter lay.

Gabriel, being curious child he is, cautiously opened the door to see his mother laying on a hospital bed holding what was now his new baby sister and his father hugging them both with excitement written all over his face and kissing both of them.

He didn't know what was exactly happening or why it was happening but all he knew was that he wanted something like that one day when he got older. Everyone seemed happier in their own little world with a new baby.

Yeah that's what he wanted, exactly like that.

"Gabriel honey come here," His mother weakly beckoned for him to come closer.

He cautiously walked inside towards his mother to get a better look of this bundle of blankets.

Inside laid a tiny baby with light blonde hair like him. It seemed so small and fragile he wanted to poke it to see if it were to get hurt by his touch.

He raised his hand to poke its head but Michael smacked it away.

"Don't do that," Michael growled.

"Leave him alone Michael he's just curious that's all,"

"Gabriel this is your new baby sister Gabriella," His mother smiled brightly.

He didn't like it, it was too close to his name.
