About the cover:

King is a song sang by Lauren Aquilina. The first time I've heard of it was about a year ago and it had brought me to tears. I stumbled upon it on one of the youtube videos that I was watching at that time. The entire song is a perfect masterpiece for me. Someone who is drowned in a pit of darkness, of sorrow, of regret and despair. The song tells of how one can still find light despite all of the trials that a person is facing. 

❝You're in control. Rid of the monsters inside your head.❞

Our worst enemy isn't someone else. The most fearsome and dangerous monster is within our hearts━it's our own self. Fear and hatred, once put together, can make us go insane. The misery that's shrouding our soul when we finally give up on the thought of finding that spec of warm light, will bring out the beast hiding in our subconscious mind. 

❝Put all your faults to bed. You can be king again.❞

We all have our inner demons. Humans weren't born perfect━we aren't perfect. Nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes and have certain decisions that we would have liked to change if given the chance. All of us have problems, regardless of how small or how big, a problem is a problem. Pain is pain, sadness is sadness. No matter how much we wish that all of it is just a dream and when we wake up, it will all be over, that just can't be possible. That isn't how reality works. It's okay that we have regrets. It's okay to make mistakes. We cannot change the past but we can create a better future. Accept what needs to be accepted then start over. We all can be kings again.

That's what I've learned and realized when I listened to King by Lauren Aquilina.
