"Yoongi, you look like someone just drove a knife through your soul," Jin stated, munching on barbecue chips.

"I wish."

"Mmm, now now, death isn't an option."

"Well, if it was, I'd gladly choose it."

"What's got you all worked up anyways?" Jin asked in his motherly tone.

I roll my eyes internally thinking of the set of events that took place at the grocery store, "some weird kid got grape soda."

Jin stayed still, waiting for me to say more, "That all?"

"He was radiating happiness Jin!" I semi yell.

Jin chuckles, "You're stupid, happiness is good!"

"Dear no. Happiness can go fuck itself," I mumble.

"Language mister."

"Fuck you hyung."

Jin opened his mouth to say something but was delayed by the sound of his phone ringing. He picked it up, glaring at me in the process. But then as soon as he heard the voice, on the other line, his eyes lit up in joy and love. He smiled softly, enhancing his features the make all of them look more gentle.

"Hey Joonie," he said shyly before retiring to his bedroom.

Love makes you do weird things.

It makes you practically insane. And maybe too squishy.

I don't wanna be squishy.

I plopped onto our stained couch, all torn and musty. It smelt of pizza and Pepsi. I gazed upon our tiny apartment. It had gray walls, and with darker gray furniture. It wasn't clean, but also not trash.

I grabbed the remote and turned it on, not paying attention to the TV, just wanting the comfort of the sound and the faint glow.

That is until one thing caught my eye.

It was a fucking grape soda commercial.

Yoongi laid, shaking his head at the commercial, wondering why the world wanted to bring up the happy boy from earlier. Yoongi didn't think he was a terrible person, he just thought happy people couldn't see the real world and that they haven't faced anything beyond harsh. Happiness wasn't a "Yoongi" thing, but realism was. The only thing he would deny though was the little stir in his stomach he got from thinking of the happy boy with the soft brown hair.

Nausea, he told himself.

But his heart said otherwise.

Far beyond this though, laid a confused Taehyung. He wasn't mad, sad, or anything. Just baffled from the blunt boy at the grocery store. With his almond eyes and black hair, plus his short state, made him look like a gothic cutie. Taehyung smiles before taking a sip from his soda, thinking to himself,

Grape soda. This is really, really weird.
