hello from the author :)

Life sucks. When you're working at a grocery store that is. Doing the same thing for hours beyond hours thinking why you life has gone the way it has.

But, over the course of my narration, it's safe to say that it's all not so bad.

Yoongi found his home. He found someone who would listen to him without judgement, who would unconditionally love him even if it was impossible. He found somebody that cares.

And Taehyung found his gateway. Like the latter, he found someone that would listen to him with no judgment. That would allow him to be free, and to be the person he's always wanted to be. He found someone who cares.

And here they are, right now, outside of a certain someone's apartment.

No no, not Yoongis, but Taehyung.

Business most be taken care of.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

Breathe you stupid.

I stared at the door intensely. It's like it just wanted me to turn around and run. That would be nice but I'm not going to. That would make me a coward. And hey, maybe I am one.

It just seems like I've been embracing myself a whole lot more recently.

I turned to the small boy behind me. His raven hair sat messily on his forehead and his pale skin glowed beneath the yellowish lighting of the hallway in this apartment complex. He grinned towards me with the most softest grin, his eyes squinted and his face knowing.

He was perfect.

And then he slowly came to me wrapping his arms around my neck. They were so frail, like I could just tap them and they'd shatter, but it was the only thing keeping me together.

Yoongi leaned towards me, and gave me a loving kiss. It was deep, sweet, and sensual. It was romantic.

Wonderful.

I gripped his waist pulling him closer feeling his back. The way he arched it towards me as he kissed me. It was kind of... how do I say this... hot.

The older pulled back, but we kept our grip on each other. He put his head inside the crook of my neck, kiss and sucking on it softly. Involuntarily, I groaned quietly.

"Now now, don't get excited," Yoongi whispered into my neck.

His raspy voice made me all excited, awakening the feels within me, "If you keep doing that then I'm bound to get excited."

He giggled taking his head out of my neck and then pecking my nose. "I'm just trying to calm your nerves."

Well shit.

I totally forgot why we're here.

"Well it worked. Very very much. And maybe you struck a different kind of nerve in the process," I said moving my hand to the back of his neck, gently pulling his hairs.

Yoongi big his bottom lip suppressing any noise to come, I could tell both of us we're getting carried away in the moment. "I'll just strike that nerve again later." He said, pulling me closer with his arms around my neck.

I gently grabbed his waist and pushed him against the wall, attacking his lips. He let out a really low moan, which made me shudder in delight. I kissed him more roughly, and then pulled away to find him all flustered.

Such a sub.

"Agh, go, um, just do good," Yoongi said shuffling his feet.

I chuckled at the sight grabbing his face and kissing him. Just a sweet one. "I'll try and do good. And you, thank you for calming me. It really really helped."

His face became so red as he shoved it into his hands, "You're such a dork."

I giggled patting his shoulder and then turned back to the door. The nerves within me began to resurface again, knowing what was about to come.

But then again, maybe what was about to come needed to come.

I slowly pushed the apartment door open, inhaling the familiar scent. It smelt of fresh sunflowers, Jimins favorite smell. His mom got him the same candle every year, which in my opinion was cute. Yoongi shuffles behind, signaling he was just going to wait outside.

I nodded curtly before walking in. Light whimpers could be heard, coming from my room. The apartment was eerily quiet other than that.

I walked toward my room pushing the door open, watching two heads snap in my direction. The younger of the two had wide eyes, with a crying mess in his lap. His hand was gently stroking Jimins back, as he stared at me.

"Taehyung," Jimin croaked out. His voice was hoarse from crying.

"Jimin." Was all I said.

In this moment, we stared at each other. All my nervousness seemed to wash away as I looked at my best friend of forever. My heart hurt at the sight of seeing Jimin all emotional. Even though he hurt me more than he could ever imagine, he has been there for me. For a very long time.

Jimin was there for all the bad days and the good days, forever, I will love him. (As a brother of course)

But for right now, I think we both need to take a break. It's finally time for us to open new doors, and to see the world. And for the first time, without each other.

Jimin has Jungkook. And now, I have Yoongi. We both need to realize that.

Then maybe we can go back to being the close friends that we formerly were.

I took a deep breath in and walked over to him, crouching, giving my most genuine sad grin, "I will always love you Jimin. You know that. But you hurt me."

Jimin slowly sits up from Jungkooks tight embrace. He looks at me, sorrow filled eyes, and says, "I-I, I know. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being a terrible friend. I'm sorry for not paying attention. I'm sorry for being the oblivious nuisance that I am. I am sorry Tae, I really am."

I felt my eyes getting blurry. The weight of the room was like a thousand tons, and more. I stared at the boy across from me, reliving moments of the past.

Like that one time we sat and stared at the stars fantasizing over cute guys and new beginnings.

Or that one time we accidentally fell into the lake from laughing so hard.

Or to the simple moments of tag, or hide-and-seek, or even studying.

Jimin was my beginning.

And now, it's time to end.

Because I have a whole new beginning.

Yoongi.

"I know." I said.

He nodded his head briefly, looking down, "I love you Taehyung."

"I know."

His let out a shaky sign, looking at me once more, "I'm truly sorry."

I nodded my head standing up, him quickly copying my actions. Jungkook continued to sit on the floor, staying silent. Though you could see the tears in his eyes.

"I'll miss you, Taegyung," Jimin said, beginning to tear up again.

"I'll miss you too Jimin."

"I'm sorry I couldn't be a better friend," he said again shaking his head placing it in his hands. He let out a gentle cry.

I shook my head, "You were an amazing friend Jimin. Thank you. For everything. You have made my life the way it is. But, I think it's best for our end."

He let out a sob, as I began to silently cry.

This was the end of our "forever" friendship.

"I-l," he started, but I put my finger to his lips, going sshhh.

"Goodbye, Jimin."

I slowly turned away, walking towards the thin door way. I turned around, one last time, looking at the small boy.

"Do you think we'll ever be able to see each other again?" He asked.

My heart broke, but I said,

"Only time will tell."

And then I left.

There was a very gentle breeze in the city tonight. Candy wrappers and bottle caps rattled across the ground, as the wind swept them away. Harsh lights shined through out the city, making a twinkly mess of them. From a distance, you could only hear the sounds of cars and the constant honking and flow of them.

From a distance, everything seemed perfectly fine.

But nothing will ever be perfectly fine.

And even though, you could be an emotional mess, spilling tears and snot, you just have to keep on forward, and never look back.

It is not the past that hold you back, but yourself, for not being able to look forward.

And though it can haunt, and give you nightmares, there will always be a sliver of light.

Of hope.

And in this city tonight, there laid two boys, on the floor of an apartment sipping a bottle of grape soda with a broken heater.

A certain raven haired male cradled a younger boy, playing with his hair softly, as they listened to the faint noise of the city.

Taehyung had his arms around Yoongi, holding him close, looking at the twinkling lights.

He knew nothing would last forever.

He closed his eyes, real tight, releasing a couple of stray tears.

The older male took notice, placing his small slender hands on Taehyungs face wiping away the salty tears.

Yoongi looked at Taehyung, with that twinkle of passion in his eyes. He kissed Taehyung.

"Grape soda sucks." The pale skin boy muttered.

"But it doesn't suck on me~"

"Go to hell."

Taehyung giggled, despite the intense feelings of the recent moments. Yoongi really was his savior.

"I love you Taehyung."

Taehyung looked towards Yoongi, and in this moment he knew,

This won't last a "forever,"

This would last an eternity.

With all the emotions he could muster, he said, "I love you, Yoongi." Meaning it with all he could.

Both boys, hearts swelled from love, passion, grief, fear, hope, looked towards Yoongis open window, and watched the stars,
