Poster Color Leftovers: One Piece
My last Color Theory class assignment made me whisk up some pretty pastelly colors. As always, there's some paint leftover from the initial swatching. Usually, I just dump them down the drain, but these colors were just too cute to be thrown away like that. So I dipped my brush in and played around with the leftovers.
For some unfathomable reason, the ones I end up finishing are all One Piece fanarts. I don't love how they came out, but it was fun and it relieved most of my pent up stress, so I'll cherish them anyway.
Modern J. Bon. I like to cut off characters' hair to get a different look.
So I pulled out my summer 2013 sketchbook which is old as heck. We're talking about pre-high school ancient. There's a halfway decent Nami sketch on it, but the proportions were all wrong, so I erased it then colored along as I redrew the whole thing.
This Robin sketch wasn't even there. Fifteen year old me had erased it, feeling unhappy with my inability to draw the pose decently. Fear not, just-out-from-middle-school me, in three years, you'll manage just fine.
And that's all for this update. I'm on my midterms now and I'm swamped with assignments I'll have to stop procrastinating on eventually, so I won't be on much, if at all. But! I will be updating this book frequently since I'm doing a 30-day drawing challenge. Stay tuned as I shall post it tomorrow.
