Elements of a story:

1. Character

2. Events

3. Goal

Every story must have a main Character or characters. He/She/They are the ones that the audience will root for. Build a character that is relatable by making them human with flaws and quirks, then put them in scenes that will showcase this. Later we will explore characterization. 

A story must have Events that move it forward towards a possible ending.

The Goal is what you want to ultimately achieve in a story.
