Prologue
The video up top is what first got me into this series of fanfictions and videos, and why I'm writing this whole story to begin with. So enjoy the story!
Also, side note, I am so sorry for the wait. I got writer's block quite a few times then forgot that I was even writing this and wrote other stories.
Just my luck lmao
But yeah, hope you enjoy it!
It all started on a rainy day in San Fransokyo. A group of 6 heroes were in the downtown area, near Krei Labs, when something weird happened. Something that they thought had stopped long ago. An old arch-nemesis of theirs had returned for revenge on them and on Alister Krei. His name was Robert Callaghan, and he had just finished remaking the microbots and neural transmitter from the first time around. But no one was expecting what would happen on that fateful day...
"Guys, are you seeing this?!" Fredrick Fredrickson, a friend and member of the team Big Hero 6, pulled out his phone and showed Hiro Hamada, GoGo Tomago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Baymax live footage of downtown. Well, more specifically a few streets down from where they were in the downtown area.
"Are those..." Hiro started. "Microbots...?"
"But..." Wasabi sounded concerned. "We destroyed them all and Callaghan's in jail...!"
"I'm afraid that's just not true." Fred stated. "He escaped earlier today. He's looking for Alister Krei."
"Oh no." Baymax looked at the door. "I believe we need to-"
"What are you guys up to?" Cass Hamada, Hiro's aunt, asked as she walked into the room.
"Ah! U- Uh, u- um, n- nothing, aunt Cass!"
"We are just watching the news." Baymax stated after being told time and time again not to say anything about them being Big Hero 6 in front of Cass.
"The news? Why, what's on it?"
"Uh, Professor Callaghan escaped. He's still upset about what happened to his daughter even though she came back."
"What?" Cass scoffed. "I thought he changed after she returned."
"We all did. Um... We're just gonna go hang out in the garage, big school project and Fred wants in."
"Oh, alright. Just get your schoolwork done and then come back into the restaurant in time for dinner."
"Okay, aunt Cass." The group turned to walk into the garage and Hiro turned around before hugging her again. "Last hug." Cass smiled and returned the gesture before Hiro went to the garage.
Meanwhile, in a completely different area of the country, Wilbur Robinson was working with his dad on a project. Of course, Wilbur was still trying to find ways to sneak out using the time machine, but he didn't want to mess up the timeline and get erased once again. Or to even just mess up the timeline any more than he did last time he stole the time machine. That didn't end well, and he wound up bringing back Doris and the Bowler Hat Guy with that little escapade. Safe to say Franny grounded him for an entire month.
"Dad, shouldn't we be watching the time machines? What if Doris of the Bowler Hat Guy come back for them?"
"Wilbur, I highly doubt they can get into the garage. Unless you forgot to lock it again, then don't worry."
"Low blow, dad. Low blow." Wilbur thought for a minute. "... I don't think I did."
"What do you mean, Wilbur?"
"I don't think I locked the garage door, I need to check." Wilbur got up, but not before shocking the project they were working on to see if it worked. Then, he went to the garage door and checked it.
"It's locked!"
"Take the trash out while you're there, Wilbur, and put on your rain coat! It's pouring!"
"Yeah, mom!" Wilbur went and put on his raincoat and took out the trash, not realizing he once again forgot to lock the garage door until he turned and saw Doris and Bowler Hat Guy sneaking in.
"NO!" Wilbur ran after them, only for Doris to yank him up to the ceiling. He tried to shock her to turn her off, but that only made her angry.
"Wait! We can use him!" Both Doris and Wilbur set their sights on Bowler Hat Guy, Doris in shock that he came up with a good idea for once, and Wilbur in just sheer confusion. "This is a better way of getting our revenge on Cornelius Robinson for all the pain that he caused us! Put him in the time machine!" With that, Wilbur froze.
"NO! DON'T YOU DARE, MY FAMILY WILL HUNT YOU DOWN."
"That's the point, Wilbur." Wilbur tried to pull himself free, but before he knew it, he was locked in the stolen time machine with Doris and the Bowler Hat Guy. Why is everything suddenly going wrong today? Wilbur tried to break out of the time machine, but had no luck.
"WILBUR!" Franny, Carl and Cornelius all ran into the garage too late, because by the time they got to it, Bowler Hat Guy and Doris were already flying away, Wilbur tied up in the seat in between them.
"HELP!" That was the last thing they heard before Wilbur, Doris, the Bowler Hat Guy and the Time Machine disappeared.
Violet Parr and Penny Forrester had found each other after Penny left her TV show, Bolt, so she'd live a normal life. Penny and her mom had recently moved closer to the outskirts of Metroville in order to escape the Hollywood lifestyle, while Violet was within reach of Syndrome and other villains due to her and her family's double lives as supers. Penny, of course, didn't know about Violet's life, but Violet didn't know about Penny's secret abilities. Not yet, at least. Neither of them knew that Dr. Calico wasn't fictional, either, or that Syndrome had taken off his cape to survive. For all they knew, Syndrome was dead, and Calico was just a TV character that only lived inside a screen, and Syndrome, the more recent and nastiest enemy of the Incredibles, had died in an accident with a jet engine.
"So, Penny, what was it like being on a set?" Robert Parr, aka Mr. Incredible, asked out of pure curiosity. Violet had invited Penny over for dinner to meet her family, and Penny accepted, bringing her mom for some support.
"Oh, um, it was kinda hectic. Especially with my manager."
"How did he make it worse?" Dash asked.
"He, um, kinda kept me from taking Bolt home so that he would believe he was a super dog for the show." And I helped him believe it by making him see everything that the producers were gonna put in it anyway. Penny looked at Violet, who looked at her parents.
"So, Mrs. Forrester, how did you and Penny get into the show business?"
"Her manager found us and asked if we wanted to make enough money to survive after her father left us with nothing. Well, her real father, I mean."
"Mom started seeing the guy who played my dad on Bolt and I considered him my dad from that moment."
"Oh, yeah, you told me that."
"Did she now, Violet?"
"Yeah, mom. She did." Penny looked at her mom, who looked at her with a smile.
"I like this girl."
"We were about to say the same thing about Penny." All of a sudden, the ground began to shake and the sound of a helicopter filled the air. Then, a laugh all too familiar to Penny, followed by one that the Parr family knew and despised, flooded the yard as the front door was kicked in by none other than Syndrome and Dr. Calico.
"Calico!?"
"Buddy?"
"I'M NOT BUDDY!" Syndrome used his wristlet to freeze the Incredibles in place, missing Penny and her mom, who had moved just in time.
"What a lucky Penny." Calico sent his men towards Penny, only for her mom to pull her away from them.
"I thought you were-"
"Fake?" Calico grinned insanely. "No, dear. I'm far from fake, and Bolt cannot save you now!"
"Wait- Syndrome, how did you survive the-"
"The jet engine? I took my cape off before I got sucked in." Calico's men and Syndrome took everyone outside, only to see something that no one had expected to see. In that one moment, the lives of Hiro, Wilbur, Violet and Penny all changed, as Calico, Syndrome, Bowler Hat Guy and Callaghan all wound up in one place, all because of Wilbur frying the circuits of the time machine to get away.
