I beamed inside a closet, looking around as the trace of my pink glow disappeared around me.
"Right place, right place" I murmured, opening the door, looking around "Not some random dude's work office, please" I heard Paige's voice talking with a woman, sighing in relief, touching my necklace, smiling slightly. "Well, I still have it"
"I'm just grateful that he wasn't alone when it happened" The woman told her. I walked closer, leaning against the wall, briefly hiding around the corner of the hallway, watching Paige and a woman talking "I know he didn't know you very long but I'm glad you were with him"
"I just wish I had have gotten there sooner" Paige told her.
The woman smiled a small, sad smile, "There's nothing you could have done. He had a heart attack, it was his time I guess"
"Yeah, I'm not so sure about that" Paige told her softly, shaking her head. The woman looked confused "I just, I mean, that he was so young. And from everything that people have said, he was just this great guy, you know, it just doesn't seem fair"
"No, it doesn't, does it?" The woman asked quietly.
Paige sighed hesitantly "So, Mrs. Henderson, I feel weird asking you this, but was he acting any differently before..."
A woman walked closer, looking at Mrs. Henderson "I'm sorry, I have to go now but if there's anything you need just call me"
Mrs. Henderson nodded, "Yeah, okay, thank you"
They hugged briefly.
The woman walked away.
"I don't mean to be taking up all your time" Paige told her.
Paige turned around, starting to walk away.
I hid further behind the wall, pressing my back toward the wall, ready to beam away if needed.
"No, wait, please" Mrs. Henderson called out. "What made you ask that?"
I peeked around the wall, seeing Paige turn to her "It's just some of the things that he asked me to do for him before... It's just almost as if he knew that something was going to happen"
Mrs. Henderson hesitated "Actually, he knew about a lot of things before they would happen. In fact, some times I almost thought he was clairvoyant"
I raised my eyebrows, racking my head through different reasons as to why Larry could be killed.
"Really?" Paige asked.
Mrs. Henderson shrugged "I mean, at least in business, anyway. Up until a couple of years ago we had nothing. Flat broke, going nowhere. And then just all of a sudden...."
"All of a sudden..." Paige trailed off.
Mrs. Henderson sighed "I don't know, it was like he won the lottery or something. Suddenly he couldn't lose. Every deal he made was golden. And at first he was happy of course, but then he wasn't. And whenever I would ask him how he did it or how he knew, he would just say that he could sense what was about to happen. What could that possibly mean?"
A man walked closer, looking at Mrs. Henderson. "Excuse me, his brother's on the phone"
Mrs. Henderson looked at Paige "Excuse me"
Mrs. Henderson walked away.
I stepped out of hiding, walking closer to Paige. "There's only one thing I can think of what could have killed him but it doesn't really make sense this demon to have this much power"
Paige jumped startled, "Bree!" I smiled slightly, shoving my hands in my cardigan, rocking on my heels, smiling innocently "What are you doing here?"
"Helping" I answered, shrugging "What does it look like?"
The elevator doors behind us opened.
Richard walked out of it, walking closer to us "Hey, Paige. Hey, Bree"
"Richard" Paige told him, surprised.
I smiled slightly, waving "Hi"
Richard looked between us "Last time I saw you two you were kind of saving my life. How are you?"
Paige and I looked at each other.
I tilted my head "Where to start?"
Richard looked curious.
Paige elbowed me, giving me a look.
I smiled innocently.

Paige, Richard and I were walking down the sidewalk, leaving the office I found Paige. We were explaining to Richard what had happened with Larry and how we thought he didn't deserve to die and he was telling us how his life had been after we met his family and helped them and the Montana's to settle their feud.
"Actually, I'm all by myself in the house now" Richard explained "My mum moved out east, family followed. It's weird to think the only thing holding us together was a feud"
"Makes me sorry we helped end it" Paige told him.
Richard shook his head "Don't be. It's an amazing freedom" He noticed she still seemed upset, glancing at me. I tilted my head, mouthing 'Larry'. He nodded in understanding "You're really beating yourself up, huh?"
"Yeah, I guess I am" Paige admitted, sighing "You know, I think I was put in Larry's life for a reason and it probably wasn't to watch him die"
Richard tilted his head, smiling in amusement "You really believe in that stuff, don't you?"
"What?" Paige asked.
Richard shrugged "Fate, destiny"
"You don't?" I asked.
"I didn't, not until I met you two" Richard answered. We stopped walking, looking at each other "All these magical wars in my family, I mean, if there's some kind of grand plan, it sucks" Paige started to smile. I looked down, smirking. I could feel it. The attraction starting between them. It was a Cupid's goal to see a connection like this one starting. I was practically giddy and even if I knew it wasn't going to last very long. I was still happy to see it happening with my own eyes instead of hearing it in a story from Aunt Paige. "What are you smiling at?"
"Nothing" Paige answered "It's just kind of nice to talk to someone about all this magi-ky stuff. I mean, other than my sisters and Bree of course"
I nodded in agreement. I had Oscar to talk about who I really was other than Chris. Someone I could be honest, be myself, and wasn't family.
"What do they think you should do about Larry?" Richard asked.
Paige scoffed "Basically just let it go"
"Well, if you'd let it go with me, I probably wouldn't be alive right now" Richard told her.
Paige sighed "Still, I wouldn't even know where to start"
"Start with Larry" Richard told us. I looked up, curiously. Richard smiled "It wouldn't be the first ghost you summoned"

Paige, Richard and I were going to summon Larry's soul to understand what had happened to him exactly.
We were in the living room, recreating the circle and the seance we used to summon Olivia's spirit. There were five candles placed in a circle on the floor as we watched a swirl of magical lights appear in the middle, showing a man's soul, Larry.
"Welcome back, Larry" Paige told him.
Larry looked around confused and alarmed "What?"
I stood, "Don't be afraid. We won't hurt you"
Larry shook his head, wide eyed "Uh, okay, you-you-you've got to send me back before Zahn gets pissed"
"Zahn" Paige repeated "Is that the demon that..."
"Killed me?" Larry asked. "Yeah, for all intense and purposes, yes. Come on, reverse the spell, come on"
"Wait" I told them. "How do you know it was a spell? How do you know we're-"
"I just know!" Larry told us. He looked around frantically, "Send me back!"
Paige shook her head, "We can't, not until we figure out what's going on"
"Paige, kid, I'm begging you" Larry told us.
I scowled, crossing my arms. I'm not a kid!
Richard shook his head "Larry, give it up, they're stubborn when they want to be. Trust me"
"Do I know you?" Larry asked.
"Uh, no, you know my family" Richard explained "You did some accounting for us"
"Exactly how are you involved with this?" Larry asked. He looked at me. "You, I won't ask. For the way you stand close to Paige I can see some kind of resemblance. Are you two related?"
My eyes widened in alarm. "Oh-uh, no. Just a friend"
How can he know? Is it too obvious we're family?
Richard smirked, shrugging "Just, uh, fate"
I turned to him, my panic shifting to amusement. Fate, Mr I don't believe in fate or destiny, huh?
"Great, fate" Larry told him sarcastically "Well, you wanna talk about fate. If I don't live up to my end of the deal, my wife's fate is screwed too and I'm not gonna let that happen. Now come on"
"What, did you make some sort of Faustian deal?" Paige asked.
Larry nodded "Yeah. Yeah, I did. Look, I'm not proud of it, alright. But Zahn came to me five years ago when I was down and hurting and he promised to pull me out of it in exchange for my... for my soul. And, uh, last night payment came due in full"
Richard realized "So that's how you built up your firm?"
Larry sighed in guilt "Among other things. But then when I realised how Zahn was making me rich off of other peoples pain and all the freak accidents. I tried to stop it, I tried to break the deal but when I realised I couldn't, I tried to make amends and tried to give away everything before it was too late"
Piper walked in through the front door with Wyatt, looking toward the living room. "Paige? Bree?"
Paige stammered nervously, looking at Richard "Oh, hey, you, um, remember Richard"
Piper raised her eyebrows "Hi"
Richard smiled awkwardly, "Hey"
Piper looked at me and Paige "What's going on?"
"Oh, you know, just, uh, summoning a ghost" I answered casually.
Paige elbowed me, giving me a look.
Piper walked into the conservatory placing Wyatt in his playpen.
Paige followed.
I stayed behind, not wanting to be caught in another of their discussions. It was bad enough when I was little and I witnessed them to be back in time and go through the same again. It was awkward.
Richard looked at me, "You looked nervous for a moment"
I clasped my hands behind my back, trying to hide their shaking. Oh, boy. I was really nervous. Larry could have easily blown my cover. "It's Piper. You'd be a fool not to be nervous around her"
Richard looked unconvinced looking at me closely.
I smiled tightly.
Larry looked worried, "You are going to die!"
"Stop it" I told him sternly. "We aren't. And we're gonna save your soul. Come with me" I looked at Richard, "Could you tell Paige I took Larry to the attic when she gets back?"
"Sure" Richard told me.
I smiled, "Thanks"
I gestured at Larry to follow me.
"Where are we going exactly?" Larry asked.
I didn't answer, leading the way up to the attic.

Well, so summoning Zahn without any background research was a bad idea. And Paige not being here yet was making me nervous.
As soon as we finished the summoning, a demon appeared, throwing me across the room.
I groaned, standing up.
"You know, ordinarily I'd be upset you summoned me, but seeing how you just helped me find Larry, I'll be merciful" The demon, Zahn told me.
"Don't hurt her, Zahn, please" Larry told him "She didn't know, she was just trying to help me"
"Help?" Zahn repeated in amusement "Really?" He looked at me. I glared at him. "What, you thought vanquishing me would set him free? Is that it?"
"As a matter of fact" I told him.
I threw a potion at him.
Zahn froze it mid air, zapping it with an energy ball, destroying it.
Zahn tilted his head, mockingly "You were saying?"
I looked at him in confusion. "You're a low-level demon, you're not supposed to have that power"
"Young Lady, I haven't been low-level in years" Zahn told me, smirking. "Not since I started trading souls for powers. Wanna see?"
Zahn created an energy ball, throwing it at me.
"Bree!"
I felt myself orb away, appearing behind Zahn, stumbling slightly, looking at my side, seeing Paige had been the one to telekinetically-orb me to her side.
"Since when you can do that with people?" I asked, holding my head, feeling slightly nauseous. Like I was able to use a traveling method such as beaming, being transported to another place differently without any warning, it was normal for me to feel this way.
"Are you okay?" Paige asked, ignoring my question.
Piper walked in "Paige? Bree?"
Zahn looked at her, using a telekinetic power, throwing Piper against the door.
"Piper!" Paige and I shouted worriedly, running to her side, kneeling next to her.
"And just for future reference, even if you could vanquish me it would only make it worse for Larry" Zahn told us "Paragraph five, subsection six, line three. All souls in my possession will burn in eternal flames upon my untimely demise. Believe me, it's a fate worse than anything that could possibly happen at auction. Little protection clause I put in all of my contracts" He walked to Larry, waving his hand. Shackles appeared on Larry's arms and legs. "Consider yourself repossessed"
Zahn flamed out, taking Larry with him.
I frowned worriedly, upset and disappointed with myself.
I was already failing into finding who turned Wyatt evil, and now I'm failing to protect an innocent? What kind of witch am I?
