I looked at Coop nervously as I sat down next to him, my leg bouncing up and down anxiously

"So. What brings you by?" He asked me calmly, his eyes flickering between the couple and me. I stayed quiet, not knowing how to answer that. I feared that I would word vomit and reveal everything to him. Maybe I was able to lie to Phoebe but Coop? I never could lie to my dad. "Ah, first job's jitters" He smiled knowingly. I slowly nodded, letting him believe that. "It's not that difficult. They may need a small push though, also the scenario is uncomfortable for them. They need to be at ease"

I knew that. What Coop was telling me, he had already said it when he took me to my first couple.

"Cupids are able to interact with the ambient" Coop raised his hand, showing me his ring. My hand immediately went to my chain where my ring (cloaked as the silver pendant I always held in my hands while using my powers) and slowly lifted up from under my shirt, grateful I brought it with me to the past. Coop watched, slightly confused "Using our rings"

I nodded, showing him I understood.

Coop smiled, turning to the couple. "What do you think they need?"

I looked at them. My eyes went from their table to each one of them and their surroundings "Too much light. Too much noise and the music is unfavorable to their mood"

Coop beamed, nodding "Exactly. Do you want to do the honors?" He gestured forward. I hesitated "So you can lose fear. Maybe that's why the Elders sent you with me" he reassured

Oh, I wasn't sure.

But, this opportunity? Spending time with my dad like this, after only being able to see him once a year? I wouldn't waste this. I may not have another chance.

I took a deep breath, clutching the pendant and watching as it morphed into a ring. -perks of being a witch-. I slid the ring to my finger and watched the pink light emitting from the stone.

I looked up toward the stereo held afar and pointed my ring toward it.

Normally, I wasn't able to use telekinesis. It wasn't my power, but with a Cupid's ring (which I actually didn't need but dad thought it could make us comfortable on using our cupid powers) I could, as well other abilities.

I changed music into a slower one while Coop lowered the lights with his own cupid ring.

The guy relaxed slightly, as the change of music actually made the chatter to lower.

"Good one" Coop praised, nodding "What's your name?"

"Amelia" I replied, using the first name that came to mind. If I said Bree, I risked myself to expose myself to Elders who knew mine and Chris' presence at the past.

"Amelia" Coop repeated, nodding, watching the couple. "Do you think you may guide the girl into relaxing? It's easy. You just need to concentrate and reassure her to open her heart" He said standing up.

I followed his lead as he lifted his ring, walking toward the guy

I grinned, raising the ring and watched as the world began slowing down around me as I approached the girl.

A whisper in my head told me her name was Serena.

"You know Aaron is a good guy" I began, being able to hear her heart. The ring amplified my natural given gifts (As I didn't use them a lot) "It doesn't hurt getting to know him more, don't you think? Whatever insecurity you're feeling, remember he sees pass it. He likes you the way you are and wouldn't change anything about you. That's the person you'd like to spend the rest of your life with, right? Someone to accept you and love you as who you are"

I implanted those thoughts in her head, as well by opening more her heart to make her more accepting of Aaron, the guy in front of her. She just needed a little push. I knew they both would do the rest

Once I finished, I found myself standing next to Coop near some plants, watching the results.

Time began running normally again as our rings stopped glowing.

I slid my Cupid ring from my finger and clutched it tightly in my hand, close to my chest, forcing it to become again the silver pendant and letting it hang on my neck again.

I grinned seeing Aaron standing up and kneeling in front of Serena.

"Wonderful job" Coop grinned.

Something hit me in my arm making me look down and see a small piece of bread. Another followed and this time I looked up to see the source.

My eyes widened in disbelief and confusion at seeing a pair of Gremlins trying to get my attention. They both threw a paper ball to my hands.

I caught it awkwardly, seeing Coop glanced at me amused

"Sorry" I murmured, unfolding the paper and reading it. My eyes widening seeing it came from Paige telling me to come home. "Uh, I gotta go" I looked up at Coop and without waiting for a response, I beamed away.

I don't actually know what kind of powers Cupid-Witches has and there's  almost nothing at the Charmed Wikia besides having the basic powers of a witch (Scrying, making potion, reciting spells and all that) plus the beaming and remoting beaming and Empathy. All the powers shown by Bree here are a mix of a Cupid and a Witch

A cupid witch doesn't need a Ring for their powers to work due to their witch nature but in my story they will. Bree needs it for an incentive to her cupid powers to become active (and become stronger) and secondly so she could pass as a full cupid if the situation needed it like in here with Coop.

I may get it all wrong but this fanfiction and for me that's a Cupid Witch even if Charmed Wikia doesn't say so yet.
