I left the doggie on the room I was staying at the manor, going upstairs to the Attic.

Paige, Leo, Phoebe and Chris were there. Paige looking at the Book of Shadows.

Chris and Leo were arguing. I sighed heavily

"Okay, you guys, would you knock it off" Phoebe snapped at them "I'm still reeling from Piper's emotions, I don't need this"

I grimaced. Thank the Heavens I wasn't a complete Empath like her or I had lost my head already.

"Sorry" Chris apologized

"So how's it going?" Phoebe asked, looking at Paige, seeming grateful they weren't arguing anymore

"I am almost done" Paige replied, looking up "Um, I don't mean to burden you with my emotions but I don't quite see how reversing the memory spell's gonna help"

"Piper needs to believe she's a Valkyrie because it's too painful for her to be herself, way too painful, believe me" Phoebe told her. "I almost passed out back there."

"Well, then believing she's a Valkyrie is the perfect option" I spoke, crossing my arms "To serve the greater good they're always in control. And they don't have to deal with pain or loss"

"Well, that's why we have to make Piper believe she's Piper again" Phoebe told us "Because if we don't get her back mentally, it won't matter if we get her back physically."

"Okay, but Piper wasn't exactly back before the spell either." Paige pointed out

Leo looked at all of us confused, "What do you mean?"

"Well, that little magical whammy you performed on her kind of, um, backfired" Paige explained

"Yeah" Phoebe agreed "You see, after you left, Piper was really..."

"Chipper. Yeah" I helped out, nodding "Incessantly, increasingly, annoyingly chipper"

Phoebe pointed at me, "What she said."

Leo sighed, "I was supposed to make her feel less pain" I bit my cheek, glancing at Chris "I guess with me not around to pull it back a little bit, she got happier and happier"

"Uh, no, psychotically chipper" Paige corrected, shaking her head

Chris clapped sarcastically, "Way to go"

Phoebe looked at him disapprovingly "Chris"

Chris looked at her innocently "What?"

Phoebe placed a hand in her head, overwhelmed "Oh, I swear my new power is going to drive me crazy"

"I pity you" I told Phoebe, "I thank whoever gave me this powers that I can only feel a small part of what you're feeling right now. You get use to them"

Leo nodded in agreement, "In no time you'll get the handle of it. You just have to be patient"

I pointed at Leo, nodding "Yeah. Sensing what others are feeling isn't easy. My mom could-knew someone like that" I corrected myself, eyes widening slightly for my slip "It became easy for me too with the little emotions I can feel"

Leo and Phoebe looked at me curiously

"I didn't know you were an Empath" Phoebe told me curiously

Chris looked at me warningly.

I bit my lip, "It has become a part of me I forget about it"

"Little emotions?" Leo asked curiously. "So, you don't feel all the emotions?" I shrugged "What can you feel then?"

I hesitated. I didn't want them suspecting I wasn't a normal witch, oh well, too late... "Mostly uh, love, hate and heartbreak... I think" I scratched the back of my head. "That's what I feel the most, for sure"

Leo looked utterly curious that it seemed his mind was whriling around what I could do. "Interesting"

Phoebe looked unsure, "Are you sure? Because I remember Prue almost being destroyed that time she was an empath"

"Not everyone can become Empaths" I told her "I at first could barely withstand those feelings. With time I could, but if you have them, Phoebe that means that you can handle them. I don't think people are given powers they won't able to handle"

Leo smiled slightly, giving me a nod of agreement "She's right. Prue wasn't supposed to become an Empath, you are. Maybe all this with Piper has made it happen a little sooner but you can handle it, I know you can"

"I just wish I knew how to turn it on and off. I feel like I'm at the mercy of everyone else's feelings and it sucks" Phoebe said, placing her hands at the side of her head

"You'll learn to do so" I said optimistically, knowing she actually did in the future

Chris chuckled

"Bright side? Maybe you can actually find out how Jason feels about you" Paige told her

I looked disgusted by the name Jason. I knew who he was. I never liked whenever he was mentioned.

"Yeah, but what if it's not good news?" Phoebe asked

"Then you dump him before he dumps you" I deadpanned

Phoebe laughed.

Paige chuckled, "Uh, I think the spell's finished"

The doorbell rang.

Oscar barked, running inside. "Oh, great" Paige sighed

I smiled, crouching down to meet Oscar, scratching behind his ear "Hey boy. Got bored at my room?"

"You got a dog?" Leo asked amused, looking down at the dog

Paige made a face, "No, I got a career."

I looked up, smiling in amusement

"Sore subject, don't ask" Chris told him

Oscar barked again, "Oh, what is it, boy?" I asked in a voice used for babies.

"Great" Paige rolled her eyes, walking away the attic "Alright, I'm coming."

Phoebe followed.

Leo followed while Chris and I stayed at the Attic.

I could practically feel Chris glaring at the back of my head.

"I can practically sense your anger Chris. And I don't have Phoebe's power" I spoke without turning to face him

"Are you serious, Breanne?" Chris snapped and I grimaced. Whenever someone called me Breanne I knew I was in a lot of trouble. "You can't just go around telling them who you are to them. It's dangerous"

"I'm not the only cupid around, relax Chris" I drawled rolling my eyes. "And I didn't say anything that bad"

"You're one of the few half Cupids" Chris corrected "And remember, in this time they're not allowed yet, just like I'm not either"

"Yet Wyatt is really cute and healthy right now" I shot him a sarcastic sweet smile over my shoulder. "You aren't born though, that's what you actually meant"

"Neither are you. And you won't be if you keep interfering" Chris pointed out

"I hate Jason though" I pouted "Just like you do Greg" I gave him a knowing look. Chris rolled his eyes "Okay, sorry. I didn't mean to slip. I just wanted to help" I sighed lowering my head.

Chris softened a bit, sighing. "Yeah, I know" he shook his head. "We have to work on that blocking potion, though"

I looked up pursing my lips, "Not the one Jack..."

"Yes that one. The one he modified specially for blocking empaths" Chris smirked knowingly. "If I remember correctly, because you asked him to"

I scowled. "Whatever"

Chris chuckled

"We should go check on them" I told him starting to walk away

"I mean it Bree. Zip it. All the information of our future has to stay within you. It's for our own good and theirs"

I didn't answer to that verbally but I understood what he meant

Downstairs, Darryl was here.

He explained to the sisters he had been attacked by one of the warriors. Our guess being one of the Valhalla island.

Leo was healing Daryl when Chris and I arrived "Feeling better?"

Darryl nodded "Yeah. Thanks, it's good to have you back"

"Thanks for helping me get back" Leo told him

"Ah, don't mention it" Chris quipped sarcastically

Phoebe and I both hit Chris on his legs at the same time

"How long after we left did the warriors show up?" Phoebe asked.

"Not long" Darryl answered "Maybe a couple of seconds"

"They must have followed us from Valhalla" Phoebe realized

"Great" Paige sighed "That means they're after us now"

"Except they didn't hang out long enough to ask me where to find you" Darryl told us "Granted I was looking through swollen eyes but they just seem lost and confused"

Chris and I exchanged a look, "So what, they just took off?" Chris asked

"Thank goodness they did because..." Darryl trailed off

"We should have never put you in that situation" Phoebe told him "We should have come up with another way"

Darryl shook his head "Forget it. You know, it worked"

Chris sighed "Yeah, for you maybe. What about the next poor guy that runs into those warriors? They're trained killers"

Oscar jumped into my lap making me smile, looking up at Chris "Yeah, but they only kill evil"

"He's not evil" Chris pointed out

"Chris is right" Leo agreed with my cousin "Not everything is black and white in this world. Warriors can't always tell the difference between good and evil"

"What do we do?" Phoebe asked

"Well, we need to find them fast" I offered with a small smile

"That shouldn't be too hard" Darryl told us "They're gonna stand out. Even to San Francisco"

"Which is why we need to move fast" Leo told us. "If they're exposed, so are the Valkyries"

"You're awfully forgiving considering everything they put you through" Paige told Leo

"They still have a noble purpose to perform" Leo told us. "Keeping their secret is key to them fulfilling it. Besides, it's not the Valkyries fault that I ended up there" he glanced at Chris pointedly, looking away

Chris didn't react at the glare "Which bring us back to the warriors"

"And let's not forget about Piper" Phoebe added

"Maybe we should split up" Leo suggested "You should go to the police station. They're gonna show up on the radar screen in a big way"

Darryl's pager beeped "You know what, the officer's paging me anyway"

"Alright, make sure you're the first cop on the scene" Leo told him "We might need you to buy us some time"

"Okay" Darryl nodded before leaving

"Uh, maybe I should go to the newspaper and do the same thing" Phoebe spoke up

I narrowed my eyes at her

"Good idea" Leo nodded, turning to the other sister "Paige..."

"I should take Oscar home before I get fired" Paige said

I looked down at the dog with a frown

"You're kidding, right?" I asked looking up

Paige shook her head "No, I promised the temp agency I'd have him back in the morning and, huh, it's the morning" She sighed, shaking her head looking up at Leo. Oscar seemed to whine making me frown. Why do I still feel something different with you, buddy?. "Listen, before you say anything, you've been gone, some things have changed and one of those things is that I am determined no more than ever to have a life separate from being a witch"

"Fine" Leo reluctantly agreed "But now?"

"Yeah" Paige nodded "I've already done the reversal spell, can't do it without Piper and we don't know how to get her, so, I'm just an orb away if you need help" She said before walking away

"I'm coming with her" I announced, standing up and following her

"Paige" Leo called out "Bree"

"Let them go" I heard Phoebe say to him. "It might seem silly to you but it's important to Paige, I know".

I smiled slightly. Good Phoebe. Control them, I know you can.
