Soul Link (Chara x Male Reader):

Plot:
You were just an ordinary boy, you were helpful, you had friends and life was good generally.

You lived on your own within an apartment in the city and would occasionally call and visit your parents.

You had a pretty ordinary life, that all changed however when you came home and found this little Gremlin rummaging through your fridge and eating your chocolate.

You attempted to chase her out, but she managed to convince you to let her stay through her amazing negotiation technique.

That technique involved holding a knife to your throat.

Apparently her name was Chara and she explained she just woke up in your apartment and decided to take your food cause she was hungry.

Later you both  ended up in a confrontation with another version of Chara.

This Chara wanted the one with you dead for some reason.

Turns out Chara had powers and that there was more versions of her around the city from different universes.

However, your Chara was unable to use her full ability, the other Chara revealed that in order to utilize her full power she'd require a Soul Link.

Think of a Soul Link like the summoning of a Servant in Fate.

Both parties agree to share a soul, in turn this allows Chara to use her full power, with the downside being if their host dies then they die as well, so the Chara has to protect their host and make sure they stay alive.

The Chara gets full access to their powers and the host gets a bodyguard.

If their hosts do die, the Chara will have a few extra minutes to form a new contract with someone before dying themselves.

Multiple contracts can be formed, however this may result in the Host's death and both Chara's getting a half of their soul allowing them freedom from their host and access to their full abilities.

It's a 50/50 chance depending on how strong the Soul of the host is.

If it is strong enough, they'll simply be weakened after the Soul Link is formed, but they should be fine in a few hours.

Now that you and Chara are stuck together you have to fend off other versions of her and their hosts while also finding out why she and other hers are coming into the real world and causing trouble.

Extra Notes:
Now this isn't gonna be a Harem story, the main Chara is gonna be your love interest along with another one.

Now I was originally just gonna have the main Chara as your love interest, but then I remembered another Chara that I really liked a lot and couldn't help but put her in, so yeah...you get 2 Charas.

The plot of this story was majorly inspired by an Anime called Servamp with a bit of Fate thrown in.

Servamp is an underrated anime in my opinion, I love the music, characters and the story.

Most of the main cast there are male so there's not a lot of waifus, but it's still a good watch if you're interested.

It's not the greatest anime in the world, I don't wanna hype you for something out of this world, but I just feel it needs more attention.
