Blast off: (Pokemon x Male Team Rocket member Reader)

Setting:
This is set in the alternate universe of Pokemon FireRed Rocket Edition.

It will have a few twists and differences from that fangame, for example, characters from the anime will appear.

Reader Info:

You:
Your name is (Y/N) and life had always been difficult for you.

You were raised in an awful home.

Your father abused you and was an alcoholic and your mother was neglectful and you were certain she was unfaithful.

You barely got any food and every day you you'd get either a new scar or a new bruise from your dad.

There was only one good thing in your life though and that was your only friend.

A little Pichu you found in a box in an alleyway.

The Pichu:

You managed to steal something to eat from a fruit stand and you saw the little guy was hungry and feeling sympathy for it you gave it some.

And from there you'd visit it whenever you could and you both bonded.

One day, you received a particularly harsh beating from your father, he found out his wife was indeed cheating on him and he took out his frustration and anger on you.

You had enough and so you decided to finally run away, out of town away from this.

You came to say goodbye to Pichu, but much to your surprise Pichu wanted to come with you.

Of course you accepted and you headed off into the wilderness with your friend.

It was dangerous out there, but anywhere would be better than your home.

The next day, it started raining and while running for cover, you came across a member of Team Rocket.

Team Rocket was an infamous crime gang known for stealing Pokemon, but he was wounded and being attacked by a flock of Pidgey.

In his arms was a fainted Zubat.

Something came over you when you saw this and you and Pichu ran to his aid.

Much to your and the rocket member's surprise, Pichu unleashed a powerful thunderbolt and thanks to the rain it was even stronger and managed to hit every single Pidgey.

Though Pichu was hurt as it couldn't control it's electricity very well.

But the problem was dealt with and you and Pichu along with the Rocket member with his Zubat all ran for cover.

The Rocket member thanked you and introduced himself as Max.

Max:

Max thanked you and noted how strong your Pichu was and asked if you'd like to join Team Rocket once you got older.

You were unsure, so Max just told you to think about it while waiting for the rain to stop.

So far Max had showed you more kindess than your own family and joining Team Rocket would mean you and Pichu would be safer and you'd most likely be better treated if you did your job.

You agreed and with that Max led you back to the Team Rocket HQ and began raising you and training you to one day join Team Rocket.

And over that time your Pichu evolved into Pikachu.

And eventually you managed to become a Team Rocket Grunt and you vowed to make Team Rocket and Giovanni proud by being the best Team Rocket member you could be.

Things started out simple enough, but then as your rise through the ranks you get caught up in conspiracy theories, corruption and something bigger than you could ever imagine.

The fate of Team Rocket and Kanto will soon be left up to you.

Pokemon Team:
Now you'll actually have a pretty big team.

Some Pokemon you caught on your own and some you stole from other trainers and you'll actually switch out members regualry with only one permenant member.

So here are some of the heavy hitters you'll get.

Raichu: (Your permenant team member. You're not Ash your Pikachu will actually evolve.)

Jessie:
A member of Team Rocket part of a particular trio made up of her, James and a talking Meowth.

They are considered to be rather incompotent and while their trio has no official leader, Jessie does often bully them into following her orders.

Yes, Jessie has an incredibly volatile temper and is rather loud.

She takes great pride in her looks, especially her hair.

She also clearly isn't afraid to show off as her skirt is even shorter than the average female Grunt's skirts.

And you won't lie...you have checked her out on the occasions you have bumped into her and her group and teamed up occasionally.

Cassidy:
Another female team Rocket member who is just as temperamental as Jessie and is part of a duo consisting of her and...you wanna say...Brad?

Ben?

You couldn't remember his name, but she considers Jessie her rival and the two of them will immediately start fighting and arguing when crossing paths.

You normally stay out of it as you wouldn't want to be caught between two angry women.

She and...Bruno? Seem more competent than Jessie, James and Meowth though from what you've seen that's debatable.

Emma:
A female member of Team Rocket that isn't volatile.

Emma is new and seems rather cold and uncaring, like an ice queen.

But in reality she's just shy and doesn't know how to talk to other people so she comes off as cold.

She takes her job very seriously and won't allow any distractions, she does love her pokemon though and doesn't use any she steals, just ones she caught herself.

You don't know why she joined Team Rocket as she doesn't like talking to people, but it doesn't matter so long as she does her job.
