Octomom: (Octomom x Male Reader)

Plot Info:

Your name is (Y/N) (L/N) and you are a single father with 2 children.

A son named Victor and a Daughter named Sallie.

Your now ex wife Dorothy had divorced you due to you spending too much time at work providing for your family and she felt neglected.

In reality she just got bored of the marriage and of you.

You did plead with her not to do it, more for the kids sake than your own but she remained firm and wanted a divorce.

So you signed the papers and you won custody of the children, not that Dorothy really fought for them.

Thankfully you were saving money for a while, so you could afford to quit your job and spend more time with the kids.

You had to quit cause your boss didn't allow vacation days...he was a piece of shit and working there was rather miserable.

You worked as an accountant.

You figured they'd need time with their dad after what happened.

Victor was sad but mostly for the effect it had on you, but he was happy that now you could spend time with him.

Sallie though resented you.

You were never home and Dorothy put it in her head that you weren't a good father or husband.

This of course would make it hard to bond with her as she'd usually close herself off from you.

Victor tried talking to her to get her to lighten up on you but Sallie simply refused.

On top of that you had to find a new job soon but barely had any time to look for one.

You really didn't trust most babysitters to look after your kids.

However, all your problems became more manageable when you met a certain someone.

Inka:

A sweet, kind but clumsy girl who you met on the beach.

She had a few odd mannerisms oddly floppy and weak arms and sticky hands.

But she did her best.

She claims to be from Japan hence her clothing, she's very nervous around you and the kids.

She said she needed a place to stay as her home burned down and needed to be repaired.

So you let her stay in your house until her house was repaired and she was very happy about that.

From there you bonded and much to the surprise of your kids, you proposed to her.

You were certain this gorgeous woman was the one for you.

Sure she looked a little strange and had a hard time doing...anything, but she meant well and helped around the house as best she could.

Besides, with her around you could freely look for a job while she watches the kids.

Sallie is of course taking some time to warm up to her fully but you have faith she will eventually come to see her as a mother.

You have a feeling your life will become much better after this.

Love Interest:

Inka:

An Octopus girl from the ocean depths who spotted you on her occasional trips to the beach.

She was always fascinated by the surface and liked studying humans.

One day when you came by she overheard you talking to your kids and she felt sorry managing to put together the story of how things got the way they were for you.

She wanted to help you badly and comfort you and so she snuck up on land and managed to steal a human disguise.

A traditional Chinese dress which she liked as it matched her main skin color.

As an Octopus she could change color but yellow was her default color.

She then worked up the courage to talk to you praying you wouldn't know she's not human.

Luckily you didn't notice, though Inka was sure Sallie did notice but didn't say anything for some reason.

Inka made up the fact that she was from Japan, a place she heard other humans talking about but has no idea what it's like.

But thanks to her learning about things through the internet she can fake it a while to be somewhat convincing.

Though it was hard at first to even use the internet thanks to her suction cups.

It was actually hard in general to do anything due to how floppy her limbs were.

But thankfully her rooze was never found out, even by other people.

Though occasionally a few found out but others just though they were crazy thankfully.

Like that crazy chef who Inka knows wants to cook and eat her.

But Inka was happy helping you as best she could, bonding with you and eventually she was overjoyed when you proposed.

She was more than willing to leave her life in the ocean behind to be with you.

Even if it meant living a lie because she knew her love for you was no lie.
