Spirit of Battle: (Sonic series x Male Marshadow/Dark Chao Reader)

Plot info:
Many already know of Chaos.

A Chao that was mutated and became the guardian of the Chaos Emeralds and worshipped as a godlike figure by the Echidna tribe.

That is until the Knuckles clan attacked and Chaos consumed by rage attempted to wipe out the entire world.

Thankfully he was sealed away before that could happen.

However, Chaos was not the only Chao that was mutated.

Chao are quite the interesting species and have many talents.

There are some that even excell in combat and one Chao strived keep improving in combat, this Chao being you.

You battled every single Chao in your colony and practiced everyday, pushing yourself further.

This intense drive and constant exposure to chaos energy caused you to mutate into a new form.

Your new form:

This new form gave you more power and new abilities.

You could now hide in the shadow of others and examine the way they fight to improve your own combat abilities.

Unfortunately this also caused you to become more aggressive and prideful to the point you even attempted to challenge Chaos itself.

While you were strong you still could not compare to Chaos and were beaten every time.

This of course led to frustration for yourself and so you decided to leave the colony and Master Emerald behind.

This was to go out, study new fighting styles and gain even more strength to eventually surpass Chaos and defeat it.

You wandered the world for centuries from then on, growing and getting stronger.

And eventually even your appearance changed once more.

Your present form:

You watched the world grow and advance over these centuries, but your desire to gain strength never faltered.

One day you sensed a massive surge energy from somehere, something very similar to Chaos, except it was far stronger and much darker.

Sensing you might be able to fight someone or something strong you attempted to make it there as soon as possible.

You could not however much to your disappointment, as after a while whatever you sensed faded.

But you still traveled to that location hoping that someone strong was there to Battle.

You eventually arrived in Station Square and hiding in the shadows you tried to gather as much info as possible.

Eventually you found out about a hero named Sonic who had saved the world countless times.

He sounded strong so he became your next target for a fight.

Since he was a hero, the way to get him to come out was obvious...cause trouble.

You began causing as much property damage as you could, making sure to avoid civilians as they weren't worth killing.

Eventually Sonic did show up exciting you.

Sonic:

The blue Hedgehog noted how you resembled Chaos immediately peeking your interest.

You decided you'd question him after the fight and demanded that Sonic battle you.

Sonic indeed proved his strength by managing to give you a decent fight, unfortunately it was interrupted by a giant robot and within it was none other than Dr Eggman.

Dr Eggman:

Apparently he was the arch nemesis of Sonic and this was his latest mech designed to defeat Sonic.

You couldn't care less though and were just angry this fat bastard had the nerve to interrupt your battle.

You immediately attacked him, and with Sonic's help destroyed his mech forcing him to retreat.

You were extremely pissed that your battle with Sonic was interrupted by that egg-shaped cur.

You noted that Sonic was tired from both your prior battle and Eggman's attack and said you'd call a truce to allow Sonic to regain his strength.

In the meantime you'd go and keep training, leaving to the nearby forest to do just that.

Sonic was understandably confused as were all his friends when he went back to explain what happened.

Especially Knuckles when Sonic described you.

Eventually a decision was reached to go and try to talk to you seeing as you seemed far more reasonable than Chaos.

Eventually Sonic, Tails and Knuckles found you training and you asked if this was an ambush.

Sonic assured you he was not here to cause trouble and just wanted to talk.

However, your focus immediately turned on the chillie dog he was eating.

Apparently he picked one up before coming to you and you asked if you could have it.

Sonic initially refused making you angry, but Tails told him to give it to you as it would make talking to you easier.

Sonic reluctantly gave it to you and you fell in love with the food demanding more.

Sonic, instantly switching moods to being happy at finding another chillie dog lover told you there were many kinds of chilie dogs and you grew even more eager to try them all.

Both Knuckles and Tails were taken aback, but decided this was good to make sure you stayed out of trouble.

After Sonic and the others escorted you to a chillie dog stand and let you try a few you happily explained what your deal was.

After talking with them a bit more and you hearing more of Sonic exploits you realized something.

Sonic was a magnet for trouble and foes so sticking close to him would give you more opportunities to fight strong foes.

So you decided to stay for a while and become an ally to Sonic and once he gets stronger you want a rematch against him.

Sonic accepted and gladly welcomed you.

Personality:
You are extremely prideful in your own abilities and always eager to prove your strength.

In a fight or in any kind of physical competition, you'll be there to flex.

You adore battling and will accept any challenge and you despise losing.

You hate losing, but if you're defeated you'll accept the loss and vow to improve.

You also despise being looked down on or having your bravery called into question.

You are a big eater as well and can scarf down an entire all-you-can-eat restaurant out of business.

Due to your personality you are attracted to strong women, be it in power or personality.

And while you are an intelligent battler and can come up with many clever strategies, you are not very books smart.

Powers and Abilities:
You basically have the same powers as Marshadow from Pokemon.

Same moveset along with a few extras and later you'll have access to his strongest attack.

Forms:
Much like Chaos by absorbing Chaos Emeralds you gain access to various forms depending on how many you have.

When you have 2 Chaos Emeralds you become this.

At 5 emeralds you become this.

And with all Emeralds you reach your perfect form.

(A/N: If you're wondering what forms you take if you only gain each Emerald one by one, since they didn't do that with Chaos I don't have to do it here.)

Though you will never willingly take these forms.

You view these forms as a cheap and quick way to gain power rather than your own strength.

So you actually despise these forms.
