You're nothing special.

Just a single anthropomorphic octopus dad trying to raise his 2 human/octopus hybrid kids.

If anyone asks what happened to your wife you tell them to mind their own business.

The only other people who do know what happened to your wife is your 2 teenage children.

Koro (L/N): (Your older son)

Itona (L/N): (Your younger son)

Koro is the most well behaved of the two, but he's a major sarcastic smart-ass who gets on your nerves sometimes.

He's mostly calm and almost never loses his smile, also majorly intelligent, smarter than Itona and smarter than you.

Whenever he presents a logical counter argument to something you almost always have to pull out the "I'm you're father and therefore you have to listen to me" card much to his annoyance.

Itona now is an arrogant little bastard who likes to talk big and disobeys you on the regular just to spite you.

The exact opposite of Koro and instead of pulling the "I'm your father and therefore you have to listen to me" card, you pull out the belts.

Yes, belts, plural.

You use one tentacle to hold him down then the other 3 to wield your belts and smack that kid good.

You have to do this, because he won't learn if you don't.

And you don't do it every time the calamari brain does something naughty, only when he does something real bad.

You are quite the grumpy Octodad ever since you became single and that's because raising 2 kids is just difficult.

Especially since you're poor, and your job at the office doesn't really pay much.

In spite of this though you actually do love your kids and want the best for them even if they do frustrate you.

Also, being a single dad is lonely and something else you really want aside from money is love.

You want a woman in your life and you can tell even the boys want a mother.

You've tried many times to get a lover, talking to other girls, going to social gatherings.

You were even desperate enough to try...ONLINE DATING!

Now obviously this didn't work out, I mean your still single.

Your dates end badly, and Koro is tired of keeping his brother under control while you're out.

And to make matters worse, both boys have girlfriends.

And to make it even worse than that, they're girlfriends are associated with that moron Mario and as a result you get caught up in a lot of their wacky adventures when you just wanna live your life.

It's tough being an Octodad for real, but eventually you'll be thanking your kids for being friends with Mario as through them you'll eventually end up meeting the perfect girl for you.

Tari:
A very shy gamer girl, with a love for cute things.

Koro is very patient with her and finds her personality adorable and constantly teases the poor girl until she's a red blushing mess.

He's also really protective of her and has vowed to defend her innocence from anyone who wishes to corrupt her.

That usually being Mario and Bob.

They're cute together and you like Tari as she isn't a nuisance.

Itona's love interests:

Desti:
She was Itona's first girlfriend and you weren't a fan of her at first.

She was brash, rude and Itona acted even more like a brat around her to try and impress her.

It usually ended with him getting a mighty 3 belt beating.

In spite of him humiliating himself in front of her almost all the time, she stayed with him.

You also found out whenever they were out together she actually kept him under control and stopped him from getting himself killed.

After finding out about this you grew to like her more.

Unfortunately, during one particular adventure, Desti lost her life to a one-winged angel.

Itona was devestated and after her funeral fell into a deep depression, poor guy wouldn't even leave his room.

You and Koro did eventually cheer him up, with some help from a certain someone.

Meggy:
Itona's second girlfriend and Desti's rival/friend.

Turns out Meggy always had a crush on the octopus boy and used to be jealous of Desti adding to their rivalry.

She would never try and steal him of course, because NTR is disgusting.

After Desti died, Meggy was just as devestated as Itona and knowing how close they were helped you and Koro comfort him during this time.

Eventually they both ended up together and though Itona will always love Desti, he knows he has to move on.

Thankfully Meggy continued to keep Itona in-line to make sure he didn't get killed or do something really stupid.

Your love interest:

Karen:
A single mom working at Starbucks.

Your kids set you up with her immediately after they met her as they realized she'd be perfect for you.

Karen really wasn't interested at first, but Koro eventually managed to talk her down.

The date went surprisingly well, a bit too well and that made you nervous.

Finding out she had kids didn't help.

You already have 2 children, why would you want to take care of more?

But she was still the best girl you ever dated and even though she didn't admit it at first, she found you charming.

You both understood the frustrations of single parenthood and working at a job you didn't like.

She was literally your only option for love left and so after that date you both promised to try and make it work.
