Chainsaw Man x Male Nightmare Devil Reader:

Plot:
You originally came from an orphanage and you were always a shy kid and this made you a prime target for bullying.

You were ignored by the staff of the orphanage and so no one helped you out.

It was rough, you'd go to bed bruised and usually cry yourself to sleep.

One day while outside you noticed an odd gleam coming from a tree's knot hole.

Curious you went to investigate and found an odd crystal that gave off an ominous purple glow.

Entranced by it's glow you took it and hid it in your pockets and when night came you brought it out and examined it.

The crystal then suddenly begins to hypnotize you and puts you into a deep sleep.

In your sleep you experienced a nightmare, you can't remember exactly what it was...all you remembered was an eerie laugh.

"Ah ah ah."

And a pair of terrifying yellow eyes.

You woke up in a cold sweat and the crystal was gone.

Confused you decided to not think about it too much and go about your day.

Later in the day you found a group of your bullies abusing a kitten.

They were throwing stones at it, kicking it around and doing other things to hurt it for fun.

It horrified you, animals were something you adored and seeing one treated like this made you sick.

It frustrated you.

You were too weak to do anything to help the poor thing and suddenly you yelled out for them to stop.

The bullies turned to you, getting ready to mock you and beat you up if necessary...only to have an overwhelming sense of fear come over them as they gazed at you.

Your were releasing a dark purple aura and your left eye glowed blue and the bullies were too terrified to move.

Suddenly you lunged at them and beat them up til they were unrecognizable as humans all while that same aura radiated off you.

You snapped out of your rage-filled pummeling and you were shocked at what you did.

The other children and the orphanage staff were horrified by what you did and fearing what might happen to you, you ran away.

On the streets hiding in an alleyway you noticed that the same crystal you had found was now firmly embedded in your chest.

You were incredibly confused and your confusion only grew when that same laugh suddenly rung in your eye.

You looked above you and saw an odd bat-like creature.

This creature shocked you and you let out a scream much to this creature's delight.

You tried to run, but the creature kept finding you and no one seemed to notice it fluttering around you.

You eventually got tired after hopping a fence and ending up in a front yard.

The creature seemed to have disappeared and you fell unconscious.

However, you were noticed by the person living in the home.

It was a kind woman named Mira, she took you in and placed you in bed while also making you some food for when you wake up as she noticed how skinny you were.

While you were asleep you found yourself dreaming.

You were in a dark endless void and before you was that bat creature that chased you.

Except it was different.

Antasma the Nightmare Devil:

This thing introduced himself as Antasma the Nightmare Devil and stated that you both were now linked.

It was the crystal that was now a part of you.

As the Nightmare Devil, Antasma only existed in dreams and fed off fear, despite him being incredibly powerful he could not enter the physical world.

Until now that is...

Apparently that crystal in your chest was the Dark Crystal and it was only a piece.

Antasma needed the full Dark Crystal to enter the phsycal world through you.

With that crystal you could now use some of his powers.

He ordered you to go out and find more and you refused.

You understood that Antasma had bad intentions for the world once he could crossover and while you had a pretty bad life that was no reason to unleash Antasma and wreak havoc on the world.

Your morality enraged him, and he couldn't exactly haunt you with Nightmares as it would weaken you and most likely drive you to suicide.

Who knows how long it would be  until he found a new host.

However, he assured you eventually you will find all the Dark Crystal pieces and he'd be unleashed no matter what.

You woke up, surpsied to find yourself in a soft bed, the smell of food in your nostrils.

Mira came up and greeted you with a fresh meal.

You were in a soft bed, given free food and after what you experienced you did not question it and just ate.

When you were done and satisfied, Mira asked what happened.

You told her what happened leaving out all the supernatural stuff of course.

You told her you were abused at the orphanage and after saving a kitten form some bullies ran away and collapsed in her yard.

Shocked by what you went through, Mira decided then and there to adopt you and take care of you.

Shocked by her kindness you accepted and were overjoyed to finally have a family.

When she left you noticed the crystal in your chest was gone.

Though confused and unsettled by this you ignored it and just decided to live your new life with your new mother.

As you grew up, your appearance changed.

Your skin became more pale, your hair turned white and your teeth grew sharper and became shark-like.

Mira loved you all the same though and you grew up happy.

From your childhood to your late teens, you lived a good and happy life with Mira.

So of course all that happiness had to come crashing down.

After picking up groceries, you came home to a horrifying sight.

Mira was dead and a Devil was standing over her corpse devouring her.

Your mother, the person who saved you from your old life was dead and being eaten by this thing.

You let out a scream of absolute fury as the Dark Crystal materialized and your white hair flared up.

Your left eye flared blue and you attacked it.

It was a brief battle that ended with you leaving a scar across the Devil's chest.

It got away, but instead of chasing after him you stayed and buried Mira before vowing to find that Devil and avenge her.

As you made this promise, Antasma appeared before you in his little hat form and asked how exactly you'd get your revenge.

You responded that you'd use the power this Dark Crystal had granted you and all Antasma did was laugh and fully encourage you to do so.

So for the next few years you spent time trying to find the Devil that killed your mother.

Your appreance kept changing and now you look like this.

Your current appearance:

In your search for the Devil you decided until you found it, you'd help others who needed it from the shadows.

Eventually though, a certain someone caught wind of what you were doing and decided to come and meet you.

It was in a warehouse you were staying at and one night she entered and greeted you.

Makima:

Immediately you felt uneasy around this woman and even Antasma warned you not to trust this woman.

She introduced herself as Makima and she apparently did her research and after a long conversation and you cautiously explaining yourself.

Makima said she'd like to help you with your goal of not only avenging your mother, but also helping you get rid of Antasma.

It was simple, you work for her and gather the Dark crystal pieces to bring Antasma into the real world and she and the Devil Hunters kill him for you, in the meantime she'll help you track down the Devil that killed your mother.

You agreed to this, but very hesitantly of course as you do not trust Makima.

Antasma of course was pissed, but decided to take advantage of this situation.

If it encouraged you to get the Dark Crystal pieces faster then he'd need a plan for Makima.

So that's how things are for you now.

Powers and Abilities:
You basically have the same abilities as Darkrai from Pokemon.

Sinking into shadows, flight and all the moves it is capable of learning including Dark Void which puts anything to sleep.

Anyone in your presence while asleep will suffer horrible Nightmares and Antasma is able to invade their Nightmares and kill them if he so desires.

One can be woken from their Nightmares after a few hours if they survive long enough.

Antasma will also be ripped from their dreams if you go far away enough as you and he are now linked.
