Ever heard of Vanessa Pettigrew? No, well she is the older twin sister of Peter Pettigrew. She spent her first four years of school at Beauxbatons. But when she heard that Peter and his friends wanted to become animagi and needed help. She decided to get herself expelled and now she'll complete the rest of her schooling at Hogwarts with Peter and the Marauders. How will the other marauders react to her? Will she fall for one of them? What house will she be in? Lets find out together.

Vanessa's POV

Peter and I found a compartment and he went to look for his friends. While I read my charms book. Soon the compartment door opens. "Sorry, didn't know anyone was in here" the boy says. I notice the scars on his face and realize he must be Remus.

"That's fine, you Remus?" I ask and he looks surprised. "I'm Vanessa, Peter's sister" I say holding a hand out to him. He shakes it.

"Remus Lupin" he says.

"I figured, congrats on the badge" I say gesturing to the prefect badge.

"Thanks" he says as he stows his trunk away. "Peter never mentioned a sister" he states as he sits across from me.

"I never told the people at my old school about him. We live very private lives" I tell him. "Though when he told me of your guys problem, I just had to come to Hogwarts" I state.

"He told you?" he asks shocked.

"I would of figured it out straight away, I am not as thick as my brother" I tell him. "Yes, we're very close and tell each other everything. Well most of the time" I state. Just then Peter arrived with two other boys. One with shoulder length black hair and grey eyes. The other hazel eyes and messy black hair. "What took you so long Peter?" I ask.

"Sorry" he mumbles.

"Going to introduce us Peter?" the boy with glasses asks. If I remember my brother' descriptions correctly. Which I do. His name is James and the other boy is Sirius.

"James, Remus, Sirius this is my twin sister Vanessa. Vanessa these are my friends I told you about" Peter states.

"Impossible, she's to good looking to be your sister" Sirius states.

"I can tell you're trouble" I say with a giggle.

"If by trouble, you mean incredibly hot. Then guilty as charged" he says bowing kissing my hand.

"And I am way out of your league" I tell him taking my hand back.

"So where have you been hiding? What's your house?" James asks.

"Beauxbatons and don't have a house yet" I state. Just then a red haired girl appears and James ruffles his hair. This must be Lily.

"Remus, we're supposed to be in the prefect carriage" she states.

"Right, I forgot" he mumbles. "I'll be back later" he tells us and leaves with her. I place a charm on the door so we wouldn't be overheard and closed the blinds.

"Now that they are go, Peter has told about your guys problem with becoming animagi. So I am here to help" I state.

"What makes you think we need your help?" Sirius asks.

"How could you help us?" James asks.

"I'm already an animagus is why, I know the process how to make the potion and how to prepare for it" I state.

"Prove it" Sirius says. I roll my eyes and turn into an otter. "Well aren't you cute" he says and I roll my eyes turning back into a witch.

"Now I know how the make the potion, but we'll need to gather the ingredients for it and have a safe place to brew it" I tell them. "Not mention you three have to have a mandrake leaf in your mouths for a month without it breaking or accidentally swallowing it" I explain.

"We can get the ingredients and help you" James states.

"Of course, here" I say handing them a book. "Page 26" I tell them. They open it and start to read the recipe.

"It'll take a month to make" Sirius says surprised.

"Yep" I say.

"We need to wait for a lighting storm?" James asks.

"Or create one" I say with a smirk.

"Why do I feel like you like to cause mischief?" Sirius asks smirking.

"How do you think I got expelled from Beauxbatons?" I ask him with a wink. "I was never caught before then, but when Peter told me about your guys problem. I knew I had to help and mum was never gonna let me swap schools unless something big happened. So after the exams, I pulled the biggest prank I've ever pulled and made sure I got the credit. Got expelled that night" I expelled.

"What did you do?" James and Sirius ask curious.

"Ask not questions, hear no lies" I tell them. "I forbid you to tell them Peter" I state. He nods his head with a small squeak.

"How are we to hold a leaf in our mouth for a month?" he asks me.

"A sticking charm will suffice and then you just use the general counter charm to remove it" I state matter of factly. "Afterwards, you all must say Amato Animo Animato Animagus while pointing your wand at your heart every sunrise and sunset without fail. Until the lighting storm and the potion turns blood red" I explain.

"Then what?" James asks.

"You recite the incantation one last time and drink the potion" I state. "We'll need to make three batches as each potion is only enough for one person" I tell them.

"We'll handle ours, you do Peter's and we'll help him with the incantation" Sirius states.

"Remus will help with that too" James adds.

"Sounds like a plan" I say with a smile. Removing the charm from the door and opening the blinds. "So any ideas what my first prank should be?" I ask them. James and Sirius immediately started to list off some ideas. While I made comments and Peter watches silently. When Remus returns, he joins in with some ideas after we told him about the process in the others becoming an animagus.

(Time skip) [June 6th 1994]

I arrive at the Shrieking Shack. I have not seen any of the men I am about to see in twelve years. When I heard of Sirius' escape and saw that photo in the prophet of Peter as a pet rat on a boys shoulder. I knew that what the world believed happened all those years ago was a lie. And now I have to stop my ex and our friend from becoming murderers like my brother. Who I must ensure goes to Azkaban. Can I really do it? Turn my brother, my only family in? Guess we're about to find out. I head upstairs to where I can hear voices.
