With Tsukomo losing the first match and Yudai winning the second match its up to Jessie to win for Honorus Magus Draconum to move on to the next round and from what she told us her opponent is someone she's fought before so its gonna be a tough match for her.

"Alright folks with the score at one to one lets get started!" The announcer said to pump up the crowd

As a response most of the people in the audience cheered in a frenzy wanting to see the next match.

"Alright so our first fighter is the mistress that hides in the mist. Its Jessie Taiyo!" The announcer exclaimed

Jessie walked onto the podium as the announcer gave her introduction as the crowd cheered.

"Now for her opponent, this fighter has fought against his opponent in a tournament in America and I'm sure is looking for a win! The keeper of the demon lord castle! Its August Surudoi!"

August had arrived to his podium as he stared down Jessie and pointed to her with confidence.

"We meet once more on the battlefield, Jessie Taiyo" he stated

"Yeah, it has been awhile August" she responded with a small grin

"You may have bested me last time but now's my chance to change things" August declared as he readied his core deck case

"You can try, but you know me I never let my teammates down" Jessie responded taking out her core deck case

"Time to luminize!" The announcer declared and as he did Ishin returned to the dugout to watch the game unfold

"From the depths of perdition, my followers will break your tangible will! Luminize! Castle of Demons!"

August's purple core deck case with black lining had transformed into a purple skull.

"The honour of a Samurai's blade will protect the weak! Luminize! Swords of Honour!"

Jessie's usual purple with a violet outline had transformed into the familiar purple Hibiscus.

'Wait...could it be that' Masayo thought looking to where Ishin was seeing a grin on his face knowing what he thought was right

"Alright everybody! Buddy...!" The announcer started

"FIGHT!" Everyone in the crowd finished as they cheered

"Raise the flag!" Both fighters said in unison

"I fight for Dungeon World!" August announced

At that moment Guardian Dragon of Demon Lord Castle, Deukruzar appeared at his side standing tall above.

"I shall eliminate all who stand against August" Deukruzar said in a low tone

"I fight for Katana World!" Jessie announced

At that time my theory was proven right as Nanase appeared beside Jessie but she looked different as she wore her normal garbs but she has a high-tie ponytail with turquoise samurai armour over her shoulders and chest. She also now has a long katana in its hilt positioned in a way for easy back-handed grip use.

"By the samurai honor I shall deliver Jessie victory" Nanase said ready to fight by Jessie's side

"Unbelievable! Jessie Taiyo is using the infamous Samurai attribute of Katana World!" The announcer said with shock

"When did she get that deck!?" Greg said shocked

"I guess Ishin taught her how to use them and gave her some cards" Masayo said looking to Ishin this time Ishin was looking his way as if confirming his thoughts

"Impressive, but that won't be enough to scare me Jessie" August taunted

"That's fine I'll just win the game instead" I responded

"Charge and draw"

"I pay 1 gauge to set Temple of Honour and Courage"

A green orb with the writing Temple of Honour and Courage formed beside my flag as it hovered beside me.

"Next I call Swift Sword Master, Masamune to the center and I'll have him attack you August"

"Taste my blade, swift slash!"

"Jessie has made a great start with the new deck" Ishin commented

"The set spell will help her to bolster her defence and offence" Yudai said looking to Ishin as he then looked back to the match

"I start things off by calling Twin Tail Incubus to the center"

"Where all the ladies at?"

"Using Incubus' effect I pay 2 life to add Darkness Final Mission Card "World End" to my hand"

"Hey Masayo what does that one do?" Greg asked looking towards Masayo

"It's a Set Impact that could mean trouble if August attacks with Demon Lords" Masayo answered

"Next I pay 1 gauge and call One-eyed Demon, Keith Wanaid to the left position. Then he attacks Masamune in the center"

"You lack the experience and power to stand before me"

"My sword shall not break in vein"

A stone 10 appeared above Jessie as it broke down into a 9 and then into an 8.

"Next Incubus attacks the fighter"

"I cast Shoguns Sword of Protection"

"Then I go into final phase, I set Darkness Final Mission Card "World End""

A sphere blue appeared beside my flag as it had the text World End on it.

The stone 8 appeared as it broke down to a 7 and a long, blue katana blade with a wooden hand guard formed in my hands as it glimmered from the lights.

"I call Six-tailed Fox Samurai to the right, then paying 1 gauge I call Strike Samurai, Bunto to the left

"My blade is as strong as my fangs"

"Prepare yourself for the bitter taste of defeat"

"I activate Bunto's ability, I pay 1 gauge to force you to discard"

August scoffed as his discarded a card from his hand.

"Then with Bunto's effect when you discard a card he gets 2000 power and Double Attack. Now attack Incubus in the center"

"At once my lady. Retribution Slash!"

"Why you gotta ruin my mood"

This time Bunto slashed through Keith Wanaid as he turned to orange squares.

'I can't afford to use Wanaid's ability with how things are'

"Six-tail attack the fighter next"

"Let thy spirit feel the sting of steel!"

"I cast Divine Protection of Shalsana"

"Then I attack next. Dancing Lotus Blade, Inaseharu!"

A stone 9 formed above August as it broke down to a 8 then a 7.

"Using Inaseharu's effect when it deals damage I choose a samurai in the drop zone and add it to hand or the soul of a weapon"

I revealed the card with a smile to show that I had added Nanase to my hand which had surprised August and Masayo in the others as I could see from the stands.

"She managed to get Nanase into her hand" Charlotte said smiling

"Alright she's on a roll!" Greg cheered

"How did you manage that?" August suddenly asked me

"Luckily for me while I was paying the gauge for Bunto's abilities and call cost Nanase was among them" I explained

"I see"

'I better make this next turn quick'

"End of Move"

"His buddy will be hard to get past" Tai commented

"Yeah but I'm sure Jessie can handle it" Charlotte said

"I cast Magical Eyes Release, I get 2 gauge and you lose 1 gauge"

"That's not fair!" Greg called out

"It's true Greg, it will make things challenging for Jessie" Tai stated

"Deukruzar take out Bunto on the left"

"Understood August. Dungeon Flame!"

"It has been an honor"

"With World End the top card goes into its soul"

'That's one' Jessie thought

"Joker attack the fighter"

"This will be stone cold"

A stone 8 formed above Jessie breaking down into a 7.

"The same effect from World End gives me another soul"

"She's doing well fighting with that deck Ishin" Yudai commented looking back to Ishin who nodded in response

"You haven't seen all that she has though" Ishin said as if knowing something everyone else didn't

I smiled as I looked to the card then looking to Jessie.

"Time to show you the power my deck possesses"

'It's coming' Jessie thought preparing for what's to come

"I set Demon Lord's Dungeon"

A purple orb appeared beside my flag with the text Demon Lord's Dungeon on it.

"That spell will allow him to call Demon Lord's from his drop zone on his turn" Yudai commented

"But that's not why he played the spell" Ishin said suddenly having a feeling he knew what August had in his hand

"With 5 life or less I cast, Oracle of Tuval"

"Oracle of Tuval?" Greg said confused

"It's a spell that works like Dragonic Grimoire, he discards his hand to draw 3 cards" Tai explained to Greg

"Then he gets 3 cards with no cost!" he responded noticing August had no cards in hand

I looked to the cards I drew and I grinned as I held up one of them.

"I cast Dangerous Fuse"

I drew two cards and revealed Command of the Water Lord then shuffled the two cards in my hand.

'If I pick that spell he'll get to attack with Stein Blade again' Jessie thought

"I pick the right"

I revealed the card to show Divine Protection of Shalsana.

"The cards go to gauge"

"Nice! He's lost both a counter spell and that Command spell" Greg said referring to Command of the Water Lord

"I got a bad feeling" Masayo stated

"Now I pay 2 gauge and call Deukruzar back to my center area"

"I have returned to defend August as promised"

"His buddy is back" Charlotte stated

"That means he drew it from that Oracle card" Tai stated

"With Deukruzar I add Trap Room to my hand"

"Kazemaru move to the center"

"At once"

"Joker take out her center"

"How can he destroy a monster with 9000 defence?" Greg asked confused

"With Joker's ability" Tai stated

A giant stone appeared and crushed Kazemaru.

"Thanks to his ability your center is destroyed when he attacks and another soul is added to my impact, now Deukruzar attack the fighter and add another card to World End"

"I will do as you ask August. Dungeon Flame!"

"At least he can't add the fifth card" Charlotte said

"I cast!"

"If he's casting now then that means-"

"Command of the Water Lord. I pay 3 gauge and stand Deukruzar"

"I shall rise up once more to bring August's victory. Dungeon Blazer!"

"The fifth and final soul is added to World End. Now I use it's effect!"

The area on the field was surrounded in a blinding light as the crowd and Jessie were blinded by it and as the light faded the field could be seen to have Jessie's cards disappeared and the stone number showing her life changed into a 1.

"End of Move"

"Your Move"

"WHAT!? Jessie's life turned down to 1 and her cards were destroyed!?" Greg said shocked

"That's what World End does Greg. When 5 cards are placed in its soul you destroy it to clear the opponents field and drop them to 1 life" Masayo explained

"That's insane!" Greg said looking back to the field

"Lets hope Jessie can pull off the win here" Yudai said in the dugout

"She can, if she draws her card" Ishin said causing Yudai to look to him

"Her card? You mean that-" Yudai said but Ishin nodded interrupting him looking to the field

"Draw, charge and draw"

I looked to the card and knew exactly what to do holding a card forward.

"I pay 1 gauge and buddy call! White Water Dragon Slayer, Nanase"

"So finally calling her to the field"

"I'm here to fight by your side Jessie, let us win this together"

"You got it Nanase! I pay 1 gauge and cast Sword Technique, Battoujutsu"

A green energy had surrounded Nanase's sword as she got in a battle stance.

"What does that do?"

"This will give her 5000 power and the Penetrate ability"

"Nice move Jessie" Charlotte said smiling

"Next I cast Shogun's Riches. Like your Oracle of Tuval it allows me to draw 3 card"

I saw the three cards I drew and had a smile form as I look to August.

"I pay 1 life and equip another Inaseharu"

Another long, blue katana blade with a wooden hand guard formed in my hands as it glimmered from the lights as the stone 2 broke down into a 1 again.

"I attack Stein Blade Joker with Inaseharu"

"You're cracking me up"

"Let's go Nanase! Attack Deukruzar!"

"I'm ready to do what is needed for our victory. Let us battle Deukruzar!"

"You won't defeat me Nanase"

Deukruzar had swung his tail to counter attack but Nanase evaded and charged at the guardian dragon and slashed him as he was destroyed but then he revived.

"I told you I wouldn't be defeated"

"However my assault doesn't end there for your partner, Penetrate"

The stone 5 appeared for August breaking down into a 3.

"Nice try Jessie but you couldn't take down my partner so now-"

"I cast Clear Serenity"

3 lights flew to the area where my gauge was supposed to be as 3 cards had appeared making my gauge 3.

"If you're doing that then it means-"

"Final Phase!"

"Jessie's got an impact!? But even if her weapon stands it can't destroy Deukruzar" Greg said thinking of the impact Sword Strike, Kohai Buredo

"This is her card" Ishin commented with a grin

"The Sky and Water connect through a dance of flowing flower petals, water fills this battlefield and purifies those, tainted with darkness! Cast! Dance of Sky and Water, Aohogeki!"

Jessie and Nanase held hands with one free hand each which held their katanas, water began rippling beneath their feet and as the water expanded, they raised their katanas up in the air with resulted in the water flowing upwards in a spiral pattern to create a large Orb of water. They then lowered their katanas, pointing them at August in which the Orb shot a large hurricane of water at August, engulfing him in water as his life broke down from 3 to 0.

"Game Over, Winner Jessie Taiyo"

"Unbelievable! We have just witnessed a spectacle folks! Jessie Taiyo has once again defeated August Sarudo but this time she did it with a new impact allowing Honorus Magus Draconum to move on to the semi finals!" The announcer said amazed as the crowd cheers

Jessie and August afterwards shook hands.

"That was an impressive impact, but next match we play I'll win" August said

"We'll see" Jessie said as she walked to the dugout

As she returned she was greeted but us me, Charlotte, Greg and Tai along with Yudai and Ishin.

"Jessie that was amazing! Where did you get that impact?" Masayo asked happily

"Well the thing is" Jessie started

~Flashback~

Jessie was training with Ishin and while training, she got close to giving up.

"Are you gonna quit just like this? A user of Katana World should fight without any doubts" Ishin said pushing her to keep going

Jessie looked to Ishin as he said that panting lightly due to starting to get exhausted.

'H-he's right...I need to keep going..to fight...I can't save him if I'm like this' she thought thinking about the dark place her loved one, Eian was in

Jessie then was coated in a golden aura, her hair grows out and her Core gadget turns golden.

"This power is this the future force..?" Ishin mumbled

"I can't let myself do nothing when I need to save him" she exclaimed unleash the Shining Force

She the drew a card from her deck. Her love for Eian allowed her to draw a new card; Dance of Sky and Water, Aohogeki.

~End of Flashback~

"Woah.." Greg commented shocked

"That's so sweet" Charlotte mumbled then glancing to Masayo for a second

"If that's true maybe you can use that card to help save him!" Masayo commented with determination

Jessie nodded then looking to the card smiling.

~Not long after~

We were watching the next match before the finals as it was Kreg's team against a team we never saw before and as the match ended we were shocked by the result...

"Game Over, Winner Kabira Diallo"

"W-what a turn of events! The winners of this match are the team from Africa, Team Dragonic Trio" The announcer said with shock in his tone

The girl who had won smirked as she giggled walking away and Kreg had pounded the ground in rage.

"DAMMIT!" he shouted

"I never thought that Kreg would lose..considering he was allies with Levi" Masayo said

"That just means that Dragonic Trio is not an opponent to take lightly" Charlotte said looking to Masayo thinking back to what Jessie said before about her impact being created

Masayo nodded in agreement looking to Sicily Legend and they nodded knowing it was their turn to face off.

"We have to win" Masayo said and his teammates nodded in agreement as both teams headed to the dugout.

Charlotte: Her new impact is powerful to allow her to win against August the way she did

Masayo: I know Charlotte, this Impact pays 3 gauge to combine the critical of Nanase and your equipped item and attack the opponent directly! Furthermore this damage can't be reduced. That's so cool!

Charlotte: And all she needs is Nanase on her field while equipped with an item and no center

Masayo: I wish I could create a card like that

Charlotte: *looked to Masayo thinking about how love created Jessie's card looking away his cheeks heating up lightly*
