Yudai had walked onto the fight stage as the crowd cheered at the top of their lungs, while on the other dug-out his opponent Cruz who was a man with long wild hair wearing an explorers outfit with ripped sleeves and he had a scar on his shoulder and left eye.

"Go for it Yudai!" Masayo called out

Yudai turned to me and gave me a thumbs up hearing my supportive words.

"You have great friends Yudai Matsuro" Cruz said standing proudly on his side of the field

"Thats right and teammates too and I don't plan on letting them down" Yudai stated grinning at Cruz

"Well you'll have to get through me first" Cruz said taking out his silver core deck case

"I plan on it with my Thunder Knights" Yudai stated taking out his red core deck case with purple metal lining

"Of course he'd go with that one for this match" Ishin stated with a no surprise tone

"Time to Luminize!" The organiser said

"Explorers of the labyrinth! Searching for power and treasure! Luminize! Adventurers of the Labyrinth!"

Cruz's core deck case became a silver wristband.

"Light the blaze! Dragons who have sworn to protect! Strong as fire, swift as lightning and bold as thunder! Luminize! Blazing Thunder Knights!"

Yudai's core deck case became the usual Coated in flames and latched onto his upper arm, deck case with a flame surrounding the crystal connected to his arm by a red metal bracelet.

"Fighters! Buddy..."

"Fight!" The crowd cheered

"Time to raise the flag!" Both fighters announced

"I fight for Dungeon World" Cruz announced

"I fight for Dragon World" Yudai announced

At that moment Rising Flare Dragon appeared at Yudai's side and was enshrouded in flames as it disappeared his metal was silver with red, orange and yellow designs, a helmet, breast plate, armour on his arms, legs and tail and he was holding a flaming one handed longsword with the Thunder Knights emblem on it.

"Man Rise looks awesome" Greg said looking at Rise

"Yudai using the Thunder Knights should be amazing to see" Masayo said smiling

"I'll take the first move, charge and draw"

"I pay 1 gauge and call Thunder Knights, Sword Bunker Dragon to the left, now attack the fighter"

"Now choose Yudai" Crez said after revealing Glory Seeker shuffling around the two cards

"Hmm....I'll go with the one on the right"

I grinned as Yudai made the choice.

"Thank you" Crez said revealing the card to be Glory Seeker

"Darn!" Greg said annoyed

"I'll discard a card to equip...Brave Equipment, Glory Seeker"

A sword and some armour appeared on my back.

"Next I call Dancing Magician, Tetsuya to the right and Craftsman, Baku to my left"

"Tetsuya will prove Yudai trouble..." Ishin commented

"I know, with that effect of his..." Jessie said watching the fight

"Baku and Tetsuya Link Attack the fighter, with Baku's effect when in a Link Attack with an Adventurer I charge one gauge"

"With Tetsuya's ability I stand Baku with Double Attack. Then we Link Attack you, with his effect again I charge one gauge"

"In the end he still got the two gauge!" Greg commented

"Yeah, that guy knows what he's doing with Dungeon World decks, but I know Yudai can handle it" Masayo commented

A large black sword with a yellow lightning bolt pattern appeared in my hands as I gripped it with both hands.

"Because Greg, with Brave, Drum when he attacks the center monster you play a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors and if Crez wins Drum gets Penetrate, if he loses nothing changes" Masayo explained

I played a round of rock, paper, scissors with Yudai as giant metal fist appeared and as they approached each other with Yudai's being scissors and mine being rock I won the game.

"Seems luck isn't on your side, go Drum"

Crez's life dropped to zero but then became a question mark.

"This is where Crez's item shows its best strength..." Tai stated

"With Glory Seeker's effect I place it in the drop zone and take the top card if its a spell I gain 3 life"

Crez revealed the card for it to be Mission Card: Defeat Monsters.

"With that my life is at 3 and you have no attacks left so now its my-"

"Who said I was done...Final Phase!"

"Which one will he be using I wonder..." Tai and Masayo said in unison

"Time for True Thunder Formation! I send Thunder Formation to the drop zone and pay 4 gauge, with that I reveal the top 3 cards of my deck and if I have any Thunder Knights there I'll be able to call them"

I revealed the top 3 cards to find 1 copy of Thunder Knights, Spike Shoulder Dragon and Thunder Knights, Dragoarcher.

"It can change, calling Spike Shoulder and Dragoarcher"

"There we have it everyone the winner of the match is Yudai Matsuro and the rest of Honorus Magus Draconum" The organiser said pointing to their dug-out

"It was a great fight Yudai" Crez said

"Same here it was a close one" Yudai said walking back to the dug-out

As Yudai made it back to the dug-out he met up with Jessie, Ishin and Tsukomo who was back on his feet.

"Nice work out there Yudai" Ishin complemented

"Thanks Ishin"

"You did well getting out of that situation" Jessie said smiling

"It wasn't too difficult" Yudai said grinning

"Lets go back to Masayo and the others" Tsukomo suggested

"Good idea lets go" Yudai agreed

~Some time later~

Yudai, Jessie, Ishin and Tsukomo walked up to us after finishing their match.

"That was an amazing win Yudai" Masayo said giving Yudai a hi-five

"Thanks Masayo" Yudai said grinning

"Now its your turn to win guys" Jessie said looking at them

"We will" Masayo said nodding

~At the end of the next match~

"Ice Blade "Astralkus" attack the fighter"

"Game Over, Winner Rosa Cerretti"

"There you have it everyone, Ancient Revolution are out of the competition with Sicily Legends going to the next round" The organiser announced as the crowd cheered with Rosa leaving the stage

"She's really strong, if we have to face off against her team we should be careful" Greg said watching Rosa return to her dug-out

"No kidding, I wonder what the next match will be" Charlotte wondered

"Ok folks here are the next teams facing off, its Japan's Team Dragonic Alliance vs America's Team Radiance" The organiser stated

Hearing that name Tai's eyes widened in shock.

"What is it Tai?" Masayo asked

"I've fought them before" Tai answered

"Woah really!?" Greg asked then looking back to the board with both team names lit up

'This will be trouble...' Masayo thought doing the same thing as Greg
