Its been 2 days since Masayo, Greg and Spectrux went to the worlds they fight or in Spectrux case come from to do some training and since then Ishin and I took up the buddy police duties and I had to explain to Masayo and Greg's parents and the teachers why their away telling them that their training for the tournament, soon after they left Nanase returned from Katana World and everyone returned home.

~Tatsumaki Academy~

"Alright schools finally done for today, so what are you guys going to do" Charlotte asked the others

"Well Tsukomo, Tai and I were gonna do some more training did you wanna go" Yudai asked

"No thanks Jessie and I were gonna hang out today" Charlotte answered

"Yeah, but we'll meet you guys at Ruin when we're done" Jessie stated

"Alright see you guys later" Tsukomo said as he left with Yudai and Tai

"Alright so where did you want to go" Jessie asked

"I was thinking of going to the park so we can have a little chat" Charlotte answered

"Sounds good to me"

~Artemis Park~

The park that I took Jessie to was a wide ranged field with walls at the edge of roses and daises with small bushes with beautiful hibiscus everywhere with a mini waterfall in the middle a river at the bottom.

"This park is beautiful, the hibiscus are nice too, some of them look like my core gadget" Jessie said amazed by the surroundings

"It is beautiful isn't it, lots of people come here to relax" Charlotte stated

"With scenery like this it would be hard to believe they couldn't"

For the first hour or so we walked around the park so Jessie could look at the hibiscus bushes and hedges, after awhile we sat at a bench to talk.

"It has been nice having you around Jessie, especially since before I was the only girl in our little group" Charlotte said jokingly

"This town is a great place and the school is full of great people, reminds me of my school back home" Jessie said reminiscing

"What was your old school like Jessie"

"Well I was in a class with close friends of mine"

"Thats cool did you have many friends"

"I did, Vincent, Kyle, Tyson, Ewan, Harry...and Eian" Jessie said looking sad with a single tear saying the last name

After a second she went back to her usual self.

"So what was your reason for coming here Jessie"

"Well back home their was a crisis going on just like the one you guys are going through, though I wasn't strong enough so I decided to come to Japan to train so I can save..the one I love" Jessie said a little disappointment in her voice

"Are you alright"

"Its ok, its just during the incident the boy I cared about most joined the people who caused it"

"Thats horrible"

"But once I improve I'll go back to America and save him from the darkness" Jessie said confidently

"Its so great you're doing it for the one you love"

"The reason why I told you to not to hide your feelings is I don't want you to have to experience what I felt that day"

I started to turn a bit red but I also thought what if it does happen..what if Masayo somehow loses himself and joins them, I wouldn't want to see that happen to experience that kind of loss.

"I'm sure you will be alright Charlotte" Nanase said

At that moment Nanase appeared at Jessie's side.

"Thanks Nanase, oh by the way Jessie how did you meet Nanase" Charlotte asked

"Its a pretty long story" Jessie stated

~Flashback~

It was 5 years ago and I was being chased by two men. It was raining and I tripped, falling over. The men grabbed me and said:

"You know how much money we'd get for having the daughter of the Taiyo family?"

"We'll be filthy rich!"

"Someone! Please! HELP!!!"

"No ones gonna save you, little girl"

"You're with us now!"

"PLEASE...HELP!!!"

Just as the men were walking away from me, they were blasted by pressured water and knocked them over, revealing from the shadows...Nanase.

"Are you guys stupid or are you kidnapping that little girl?"

"It's none of your business!"

"Buddyfight me! If you win, I'll stay out of you're business, if you lose you will unhand that girl, immediately!"

"You're on, princess!"

~Time Skip~

"Game Over, Winner White Dragon Hermit, Nanase"

"I won so let her go!"

"Rrrrr!!!"

"Like we'd ever let go of this money!"

"We made a deal!"

"And you were foolish to think we'd let go!"

In a flash, she blew the men across the street and saved my life.

"Let's get you home"

"Can we take a long walk together?"

"Why? You'd get cold?"

"When I'm with you, I've never bothered by rain"

~End of Flashback~

"Wow, you're amazing Nanase" Charlotte complemented

"I just did what was the right thing to do"

"How did you meet Spectrux Charlotte"

"Well"

~Flashback~

"Charlotte come down here"

"Coming"

At that moment a flash surrounded my room and it revealed a damaged and bruised Spectrux.

"Oh no are you ok"

"Urgh...does it look like...I'm ok..ARGH"

"I'll give you treatment right now"

I treated his wounds and after he rested a bit he regained consciousness.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah..thanks to you"

"Its no problem..how did you end up that bad"

"I was sent from Star Dragon World to find a worthy fighter then a weird monster in the portal made me in that state"

"Star Dragon World, do you need help"

"To repay you for helping me, please become my buddy?"

"Of course and I promise you I won't let you down"

"Likewise"

~End of Flashback~

"So you saved him and thats how you became partners"

"Yeah"

"Thank you for telling me all this Jessie"

"No problem same with you Charlotte after all we're friends" Jessie replied with a smile

"Yeah, we are" Charlotte replied with the same warm hearted smile

After that Jessie and I headed to Ruin to meet up with Yudai, Tai and Tsukomo to get in some training before the day ends with me learning more about Jessie and what she has been through.
